It is the purpose of this study to propose improvement options and guidance methods for public design around elementary schools from the perspective of child friendly cities. The study first takes the Convention on the Rights of the Child as a benchmark, and integrates relevant United Nations documents on child friendly cities and those on child friendly cities in Shenzhen to derive five principles of public design around child friendly schools, namely, safe environment, protective measures, pedestrian friendly environment, independent environment for going out, convenient and fun environment. Subsequently, this study investigates the public design of 25 elementary schools in Futian District, Shenzhen, China, evaluates the quality level of public design according to the five principles, and points out the problems that exist in public design with lower quality level. Furthermore, in response to the existing problems of public design around elementary schools in Shenzhen, this study improves them from three aspects: public space, public facilities and public media design. More importantly, the design reinforces the safety and child protection of the environment, facilitates children's walking and independent going out, and provides a convenient and fun design that meets the physical and psychological needs of children, designed to be child-friendly. Not only does this design provide guidance for the construction of the environment around the elementary school in Shenzhen, but also provides guidelines for the construction of a child-friendly city in Shenzhen.

과거 1세기를 통해 볼 때, 건축재로써 콘크리트의 범용적 선정우위는 향후 1세기도 다른 건축재로 대체될 가능성이 없지만, 환경친화적이고 인간공학적 요소를 강조하는 최근의 주거환경과 함께, 건축주는 회색 일변도의 획일화된 도시화로 발생된 상자형의 빌딩 숲과 각종 시설물에서 탈피하고픈 욕구를 해결하기 위해 환경 친화적이고 고기능이 강조된 제품을 적용하여 쾌적한 주거환경과 생활공간를 창조하고자 다양하게 시도하고 있다. 이러한 시대적인 욕구를 충족하기 위한 용도와 기능의 제품은 다양한 형태로 환경친화적인 디자인, 기능, 용도로 개발되고 그 기능도 잘 홍보하여 적용되고 있으나 일부 제품은 이러한 변화에 대응하지 못하고 사양되고 있는 것도 사실이다.(중략)

In the COVID-19 crisis, the elderly over 60 have various psychological health problems such as depression, anxiety, and fear, and the community has become the only space for senior activities. To this end, this study presented a therapeutic aging-friendly community environmental design evaluation system using theoretical review, FGI interview, and hierarchical analysis AHP. The evaluation system is a three-dimensional space, with 10 upper layers and 68 lower layers. In addition, the weight of each index of the evaluation system was distributed through expert survey and SPSS program analysis. First, the material space environment design must satisfy the comfort and health of the elderly when they are active in a common space for their daily life. Second, the design of social space environment is designed to promote exchange and social connection among the elderly. Third, the operating space environment design considers the operating system of the community operating company as important. Through this, it is expected to improve the psychological health of the elderly by providing systematic technical basis and action guidelines for the development of the residential environment of the elderly.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a foundational design direction for seniors, according to paradigm shift in aging society. This paper researched on current state of the aging society through literature study and defined the theoretical concept that set the foundation of the study. Secondly, for building an age-friendly city, relevant studies on seven cities were selected and their regional design guidelines were analyzed. As a result, essential design elements for building the aging-friendly city were defined as safety, recognition, and accessibility. A detailed design guideline that applies the three elements with understanding on seniors is required to construct the environment for a senior-friendly city. Ultimately, the result of this study is expected to be in practical use as a fundamental resource for age-friendly city design.

This research aims at proposing new space design model with eco-friendly material, paper, for sustainable life mode. As pro-natural paper which is feasible for secondary processing in interior design, it's significance lies in its easy adaptability to nature and depreciation of environment pollution. The target space which needs alterability is designed with corrugated paper as its eco-friendly and changeable features as corrugated paper made out of wood pulp would return to nature after decomposition. If the material will be recycling, reuseable, and renewable which are eco-friendly and durable, then sustainable space design would be created.

20세기의 도서관은 확산된 인터넷의 보급으로 대출형 도서관의 연장선상에서 이용자의 요구에 따라 관종이나 지역간 협력을 통한 네트워크 운영으로의 도약을 꾀하고 있다. 이후, 도서관의 발전단계는 다양한 서비스를 즐기며 오랜 시간을 관내에 머무를 수 있는 체재형(滯在型)도서관이라고 표방되고 있다. 이는 도서관이 오랜 시간 머물며 다양한 활동이 가능한 공간으로 거듭나기를 바라는 사회적, 시대적 요청에 의한 결과라 할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위하여 유니버설(universal) 디자인과 에콜로지(ecology) 디자인의 개념을 수용한 환경 친화적 도서관 건축에 대한 사안(私案)들을 제시하고자 한다.
