The purpose of this paper is to examine whether strategic decision-making processes are related to decision effectiveness, using a longitudinal field study design. We studied 120 decisions to determine if procedural rationality and political behavior influence decision success, controlling for the goodwill of the environment and decision implementation. Our results indicate that decision-making processes are indeed related to decision success. Results are discussed in terms of the importance of strategic choice in environmental organizations. these studies often provided simple fragments of empirical tests without a well developed theoretical framework. This study attempts to fill this gap by examining policy adoption, specifically by investigating influences on policy decision making across 120 nations using multiple-regression analysis. The greater the number of international NGOs in which a national governmental participates, the more the nation is apt to adopt international environmental policies to see how real affect.

This paper discusses important environmental issues that must be considered during shale gas development. Shale gas has been attracting many attention as the next key energy resource with its large abundance through easily accessible production fields, and its lower carbon dioxide & sulfur dioxide emission profile upon combustion when compared to the conventional oil and natural gas resources. Successful development of a shale gas field requires the use of hydraulic fracturing to recover hydrocarbon through the very tight shale formation, which has been frequently associated with environmental contamination issue of water, soil, and atmosphere. Therefore, environmental issues and their solution to minimize environmental impact should be considered for successful development of shale play in a future.

인간의 생태계를 근본적으로 위협하고 있는 기후변화와 같은 환경오염 문제는 글로벌 경쟁시대의 기업 경영에 있어 강력한 제재요인 중 하나로 관심이 집중되고 있다. 국내에서도 이러한 환경문제가 중요 이슈로 부각되고 있는데, 특히 인류생존에 필수적인 자연환경을 기반으로 사업을 영위하는 농업분야는 더욱 깊은 연관성을 갖는다. 정부는 이러한 농업분야에 대하여 도시와 농촌 간 소득 불균형이나 농촌인구 노령화 등의 문제를 해결하고 미래 성장산업으로 발전시키고자 6차산업화 인증 제도를 시행 중에 있으며 앞으로의 성장이 기대된다. 또한 최근 기업의 환경을 포함하는 사회적 책임활동에 대한 관심이 높아지고 능동적으로 참여하려는 소비자의 특성 변화에 따라 6차산업화 인증을 받은 기업들도 성장하기 위해서는 기업 활동의 근간이 되는 소비자 니즈에 더욱 집중할 필요성이 제기되므로 기업의 새로운 성장 방안으로써 고객과 환경에 집중하고 사회적 가치를 창출해 나가야 할 것으로 추측된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 6차산업화 인증을 받은 기업을 대상으로 고객지향성과 경영성과 간 관계에서 환경지향성이 조절효과를 가지는 지를 밝히고자 하였으며, 연구 결과 고객지향성은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 이러한 관계 속에서 환경지향성은 정(+)의 조절효과를 가진다는 것을 실증하였다. 즉, 6차산업화 인증기업이 경영성과를 제고시키기 위해서는 소비자의 변화와 기업이 수행해야 할 사회적 책임을 명확히 인식하여, 소비자 니즈기반의 환경보존과 같은 사회적 가치를 창출하고 공유하려는 친환경 지향적인 새로운 혁신전략을 수립하고 실행해 나가야 할 것이며 이를 통해 지속적인 성장을 견인할 수 있을 것이다.

It's the situation that modern technological civilization shakes the life environment fundamentally without a serious reflection on the dangers. The sense of crisis' brought the rise of modern Ecology in awareness of survivability of the humanity. Because the serious reflection is not just a campaign for environmental protection, but is to establish the values which is possible to coexist and to make harmony between the nature and man, man and man, and to form a healthy relationship through philosophical thought and practice has intrinsic value for human and nature. Under these circumstances, if Yulgok lives now and he is questioned by the ecological theorists of the 21st century that "What do you think about the serious environmental problem of present times?", what really would be his explanation? In the presentation methods of the explanation, will question first what contents western ecologists who study Theory of the environment in technology, Deep Ecology, and Social Ecology propose, then will compare and introduce what similarities and differences from theirs. As a result, we'll be found that Yulgok's thought, moral consciousness, about the nature and humanity as a confucian scholar.

최근 환경변화와 국제교류의 확대로 인하여 예전에는 문제가 되지 않았거나, 보이지 않았던 해충들이 문제해충화 되어 우리 주변에서 정원수나 조경수에 피해를 주는 해충들이 있다. 이들은 크게 3가지로 분류되는데 (1)환경의 변화에 의한 잠재해충과 문제해충화 (2) 인간의 욕심에 의해 대면적 식재로 인한 해충의 기회 확대 (3) 국제교류 확대로 인한 외래 해충의 침입 으로 나눌 수 있다. 이번 호에서는 환경변화에 의한 해충의 발생으로 환경스트레스에 의해 식물 자체 내의 방어체계가 무너지면 어떤 특정종이나 일반 해충이 대발생하는데 식물자체 환경 스트레스에 관계하는 jasmonate의 작용 저해, 식물이 자기방어를 위해 분비하는 타감물질(allelopathy)의 분비 억제, 초식성 곤충으로부터 산란억제를 위한 연모의 부족 등 해충의 대발생을 야기 시키는 경우도 있다. 또한 지구온난화로 인한 각종 해충의 대발생은 현재 전 세계적으로 문제가 되고 있다. 기온의 상승으로 곤충의 발육이 빨라져 화기 수가 증가한다거나, 포식자와 피식자의 상호작용의 연결고리가 깨어지는 등 각종 원인으로 인한 최근 발생한 해충을 기술하였다.

젖소의 번식문제는 많은 요인들이 관련된다. 환경적인 요인, 섭취 영양분과 관련된 문제, 사양관리 등이 번식 생리에 미치는 영향은 체내에서 복잡한 기전을 가지고 있다. 이 글에서는 깊이 있는 생리적 기전보다 섭취하는 영양분과 번식 효율과 관련하여 살펴보기로 하겠다. 특히 분만 후 비유 초기에 발생하는 문제들을 중심으로 번식에 미치는 영향과 그 해결방법에 관한 것이다.

인터넷 환경의 서버-클라이언트 모델에서 네트웍 부하를 줄이고 시스템 성능을 향상시키기 위한 방법으로 캐쉬가 있다. 모바일 클라이언트의 경우 적은 메모리와 스토리지 용량으로 인하여 캐쉬를 좀 더 효과적으로 다루는 방법이 필요하다. 특히 모바일 클라이언트 내의 캐쉬 된 데이터가 무효화(invalidation)되는 문제는 무선 네트웍의 낮은 대역폭과 불안정상 등의 관점에서 기존의 인터넷 환경과 다르게 접근될 필요가 있다. 또한 모바일 클라이언트는 리소스(배터리) 등의 문제로 인해 항상 네트웍과 지속적으로 연결을 하지 못하므로, 본 연구는 이러한 환경에서 캐쉬 된 데이터의 무효화 문제 해결을 위한 계층적 캐쉬 알고리즘을 제시한다. 서버-클라이언트 사이에 MSS(Mobile Switching Station)모델을 구성하고 AVI-based 알고리즘을 바탕으로 모바일 클라이언트에 대한 무효성 보고 횟수를 최소화하는 방법을 제시한다.

합의는 분산 시스템 환경에서 해결해야 할 근본적인 문제 중 하나이다. 특히 노드 또는 프로세스의 임의적인 실패 즉, 비잔틴 실패가 발생하였을 때 합의 문제는 더 복잡해진다. 본 연구에서는 동적인 노드의 가입과 탈퇴가 자유로운 클라우드 환경에서 비잔틴 합의 문제를 해결하기 위한 가쉽 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에서 확장성과 결함 포용의 특성을 내재한 가쉽 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 클라우드 환경에서의 비잔틴 합의 문제를 확장적이고 결함 포용적으로 해결할 수 있다. 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하기 위해 성능 평가를 수행하였다.
