Impact of Outdated Channel State Information for Cognitive Vehicular Networks with Multiple Relays (다중 중계기가 존재하는 무선 인지 차량 네트워크에서 지연된 채널 상태 정보의 영향)

  • 기존 연구에서 무선 인지 네트워크의 성능 분석에 관한 연구는 많았지만 다중 사용자가 존재하는 무선 인지 네트워크에 차량 통신을 접목시킨 무선 인지 차량 네트워크의 성능 분석에 관한 연구는 많지 않았다. 또한 최근 실질적인 채널환경을 고려하기 위해 지연된 채널 상태 정보를 가진 시스템에서의 성능 분석에 대한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있는데, 다중 중계기가 존재하는 무선 인지 차량 네트워크에서 지연된 채널 상태 정보의 영향에 대한 연구는 아직 진행되지 않았다. 본 논문에서는 다중 중계기가 존재하는 무선 인지 차량 네트워크에서 지연된 채널 상태 정보의 영향을 분석한다. 본 논문에서는 스펙트럼 공유(spectrum sharing) 무선 인지 네트워크를 가정하고 차량간 통신이 일어나는 2차 사용자 네트워크의 채널들을 double Rayleigh fading으로 모델링 한다. 성능 분석의 지표로 불능 확률을 사용하고 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해 지연된 채널 상태 정보의 영향을 확인한다.

Blocking Probability of Hererogeneous Traffic in a Multicast Switch (멀티캐스트 교환기내 혼합 트래픽의 성능분석)

  • A multicast switch, which can provide a single uniform switching function for vastly different classes of traffic, is crucial for the successful deployment of intergrated broadband networks. In this paper, we study the call blocking probability of heterogeneous circuit emulated traffic in a multicast switch. A previous work on the analysis of homogeneous traffic, where all calls have the same fan-out, show the performance showed that the call blocking probability increases rapidly as fan out increases. We study the performance of heterogeneous traffic, which consists of calls of different fan out, and show the performance gaps between larger fan-out traffic and smaller fan-out traffic are larger than those of homogeneous traffic these results indicate the necessity of efficient resource allocation policies to improve the performance of multicast calls. We conclude the paper introducing several methods to improve the performance of multicast traffic.

  • In this paper, I proposed the algorithm that realize scheduler of WRR method in mobile network and analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm. The need for providing quality of service(QoS) for real-time applications in wireless networks has been driving research activities and standardization efforts for some time. In particular, there have been considerable research of scheduling algorithm for wireless environments. The BSW algorithm of WRR method that is suited to wireless environment is developed to the results of these effort. But BSW algorithm is deteriorated the performance by realization complexity in wireless environment is necessary to fast scheduling. To solve of these problem this paper proposed the scheduling algorithm which degrades of implementation complexity and which improves the performance and analysis of the performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this report, we test the features that the outside environment of subscriber lines have an effects on ADSL's electrical transmission performance with a suspected cases of line. I observed an influence of AM broadcasting jamming, and also analysis of an incoming lines of various kinds, a line distance, a connection way, Bridge Tap influencing ADSL's electrical transmis-sion performance. To have a maximum effect of Adsl electrical transmission, I came to a conclusion that we have to make use of the older copper wire cable line to fit the situation at the present and we must change it into the excellent optical fiber cable one by one.

Performance Comparison of SCTP and TCP over Linux Platform (리눅스 환경에서 SCTP와 TCP 프로토콜의 성능 비교)

  • This paper compares throughput performance of TCP and SCTP in a variety of network environments. For experiments, we construct a Linux-based testbed and consider a set of performance metrics such as MSS(Maximum Segment Size), transmission delay, and packet loss rate. In addition, we analyze the effect of SCTP multi-streaming on throughput. From the experimental results, we can see that SCTP provides throughput gain of approximately $20%{\sim}50%$ over TCP. This performance gain comes from the distinctive features of SCTP such as chunk bundling, initial congestion window of 2 MTU and SACK(Selective ACK) based error control. In the lossy networks, we can see that SCTP multi-streaming transmissions can effectively overcome the so-called HoLB(Head-of-Line Blocking) phenomenon of TCP.

  • In relay networks, relay nodes amplify or demodulate/remodulate the received signal from the transmitter, and transmit that signal to the receiver. The received signals from several relays are combined and used for demodulation at the receiver, which enhances the performance of the overall system. Partially differential modulation scheme which uses coherent modulation at the relay and non-coherent modulation scheme at the receiver is adopted for modulation scheme. We analyze the performance of systems depending on various energy allocations of source and relays given the total energy in relay networks.

  • The communication between train and it's moving environments is considered as a necessity factor to support accuracy and safety for operation of train. Communication structure and performance between sensor and train used to measure and monitor between train and it's moving environments is required in operation of the train. In this paper, railway sensor network based on LTE-R is described and analyzed for moving train to support effective measure operation and environment data from various sensor devices located through railway and then transfer the data to data control center. Finally, implementation requirement for railway sensor network is suggested.

  • In the multipath fading channel, OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)system possess the characteristics of ISI/ICIwith prefix, but a weak point of circuit complexity and PAPR problem. SC-FDE(Single Carrier with Frequency Domain Equalization) performance is similar to OFDM system, but equalizer is complex in frequency domain. In this paper, simple proportional equalizer offer for SC-FDE system, it useful method in the $2GHz{\sim}\;10GHz$ channel model such as indoor, outdoor, SUI. It prove using MATLAB simulation, speed faster then OFDM system, reduce terminal complexity in same test condition.

  • In this paper we analyzed, using Markov modeling, the performance of CSMA/CD over the wireless channel which is characterized by near-far effect, shadowing and Rayleigh fading. The analysis shows that throughput of CSMA/CD is degraded by channel error. However, if capture effect which arises from the randomness of power level of received signal due to the fading phenomena of electromagnetic waves is taken into consideration, the system performance is much improved and the system stability is also made better.

  • In this paper, we design the complementary code keying (CCK) modulation/demodulation structure that is proposed in the IEEE 820.11b and IEEE 802.11g. And, this paper proposes the CCK Rake receiver to be fitted for the large delay spread case like the inter-vehicle communications. The channel estimation of each path in the multipath Rayleigh fading channel is done using the packet preamble and, the combining of the multipath signals in the coherent CCK Rake receiver is achieved as the symbol level combining type. In this paper, in order to validate the utilization of CCK modem for the inter-vehicle communications of the telematics communications, we suggest the CCK modem performance that is made for the multipath Rayleigh fading channel with the mobile speed of 300km/h.
