Cracking Behavior of Concrete Box Culvert for Power Transmission Due to Drying Shrinkage (전력구 콘크리트 구조물의 건조수축 균열특성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict the cracking behavior and suggest the method of controlling the cracking in concrete box culvert for power transmission due to differential drying shrinkage. Drying shrinkage cracking is mainly influenced by the moisture diffusion coefficient that determines moisture diffusion rate inside concrete structures. In addition to the diffusion coefficient, surface coefficient of concrete surface and relative humidity of ambient air simultaneously affect the moisture evaporation from concrete inside to external air outside. Within the framework of drying shrinkage cracking mechanism, it is necessary to perform the numerical analysis, which involves these three influencing factors to predict and control the shrinkage cracking of concrete. In this study, moisture diffusion and stress analysis cor responding to drying shrinkage on concrete box culvert are performed with consideration of diffusion coefficient, surface coefficient, and relative humidity of ambient air. From the numerical results, it is found that cracking behavior due to differential drying shrinkage of box culvert shows the different feature according to three influencing factors and the methodology of controlling of drying shrinkage cracks can be suggested from this study.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the efficient method and guideline of controlling the cracking in bridge deck concrete due to differential drying shrinkage. Drying shrinkage cracking is mainly influenced by the moisture diffusion coefficient that determines moisture diffusion rate inside concrete structures. In addition to the diffusion coefficient, surface coefficient of concrete surface and relative humidity of ambient air simultaneously affect the moisture evaporation from concrete inside to external air outside. Step Coverge of Tantalum Oxide Thin Film Grown by Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (유기금속 화학증착법을 이용한 탄탈륨 산화 박막의 층덮힘 특성 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 PET(PentaEthoxy Tanatalum:Ta(OC2H5)5) 유기금속 화합물 전구체를 사용하여 차세대 초고집적회로 제조시 고유전체 물질로 유망한 Ta2O5 박막을 열화학증착 방법에 의하여 증착하였다. 본 증착실험을 통하여 여러 가지 운속기체, 기판온도, 반응압력 등의 공정변수가 층덮힘에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였으며 Monte Carlo 전산모사 결과와 기판온도 변화에 따른 층덮힘 패턴의 변화에 대한 실험결과를 비교하여 부착계수를 산출하였다. 운송기체로는 N2, Ar, He을 바꿔가며 실험하였으며 He>N2>Artns으로 층덮힘이 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 운송기체의 종류에 따라 운동량 확산도, 열 확산도, 물질 확산도 등의 이동현상 특성값들이 다르기 때문이라 생각된다. 기판온도의 증가는 운송기체의 종류에 관계없이 층덮힘을 악화시켰으며 도랑내부에서의 Knudsen 확산과 표면반응물의 탈착에 비해 표면반응이 보다 지배적인 역할을 담당함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 질소를 운송기체로 사용한 경우에 부착계수의 겉보기 활성화 에너지는 15.9Kcal/mol로 나타났다. 그리고 3Torr 이하에서 반응압력이 증가하는 반응압력이 증가하는 경우에는 물질 확산도의 감소 효과 때문에 층덮힘이 악화되었다. 본 연구결과 3Torr, 35$0^{\circ}C$에서 He 운송기체를 이용한 경우가 가장 우수한 층덮힘을 얻을 수 있는 최적 공정 조건임을 알 수 있었다.

Oxygen Diffusion According to the Fitting Conditions of Contact Lens (콘택트렌즈의 피팅조건에 따른 산소확산)

  • Purpose: This review article was written to investigate how the various factors, such as lacrimal thickness, CL's thickness and Dk, affects the influx of $O_2$ diffusion into the cornea. Methods: A mathematical model was proposed to analyze the oxygen diffusion reaching the cornea through the tear layers and contact lens based on Fick's law and the principle of continuity of the diffusion flux through the each layers. Results: The model predicts how the parameters such as the thickness of tear layer on the cornea, both the Dk and thickness of contact lenses etc., affect the oxygen tension at cornea and oxygen flux entering the cornea. Conclusions: It is found that either too flat or too tightly fitted contact lenses can cause the oxygen deficiency at/inside the periphery of the cornea because of the reduction of oxygen flux resulted from too thickened tear layer.

  • Si(100)기판상에 여러 가지 두께의 Au박막을 선행 증착(pre-deposition)한 후, 각각의 Au박막상에서의 Cu-MOCVD박막의 초기 핵생성과 성장 기구를 고찰하였고, 또한 각 계면에서의 상호 확산 거동을 여러가지의 분석 장비를 이용하여 조사하였다. 30$\AA$두께의 Au 박막은 수소 가스 분위기중의 열처리에 의하여 평탄한 표면 상태에서 불연속의 응집된 도상(island)형태로 변화(Si 전체 표면중 약 20%)하였다. 반면에 1500$\AA$두께의 Au박막상에서 성장한 Cu-MOCVD박막은 두께 증가에 따른 미세구조의 차이, 즉 Cu박막중으로 Au원자의 확산여부는 Au박막에 유기되는 열응력(thermal stress)을 완화하는 과정에서 일어난 결과이다.
