According to the $7^{th}$ reform of high school education curriculum, contents on probability and statistics in mathematics of high school curriculum have been expanded compared to the previous curriculum. Thus if the curriculum contains the contents to achieve the goals for probability and statistics, more efficient education on statistics is expected to meet the needs of information age. In this thesis, we studied through network analysis if contents on probability and statistics in mathematics of high school curriculum are composed to achieve the goals. We reviewed contents on probability and statistics in mathematics of the $7^{th}$ reform of high school curriculum whether they are conformed the purpose and direction of the reform or not. As a result, the concept of probability distribution and statistical estimation with a random variable was described clearly. But, census and sample survey were not connected with other items. In a part, there were expressional mistakes.

본 연구에서는 관심거리가 되고 있는 마코프인쇄 몬테칼로(Markov Chain Monte Carlo, MCMC)방법에 근거한 공간 확률난수 (spatial random variate)생성법과 깁스표본추출법(Gibbs sampling)에 의한 베이지안 분석 방법에 대한 기술적 사항들에 관하여 검토하였다. 먼저 기본적인 확률난수 생성법과 관련된 사항을 살펴보고, 다음으로 조건부명시법(conditional specification)을 이용한 공간 확률난수 생성법을 예를 들어 살펴보기로한다. 다음으로는 이렇게 생성된 공간자료를 분석하기 위하여 깁스표본추출법을 이용한 베이지안 사후분포를 구하는 방법을 살펴보았다.

확률화응답기법은 민감한 사항에 대한 모비율의 효율적인 추정과 응답자에 대한 충분한 보호수준 제공이라는 두 가지 측면을 동시에 추구하는 통계조사기법이다. 본 연구에서는 기법에서 적용된 질문선택확률이 이와 같은 두 가지 측면에 미치는 영향을 정리하고, 이런 관점에서 최근에 제시된 2단계 확률화응답 기법들은 기존의 기법에서 단순히 질문선택확률구조만을 수정한 것으로 해석될 수 있으며, 따라서 효율성 측면에서 본질적으로 기존의 방법과 동일한 기법임을 보였다.

고등학교 수학 I 의 확률 및 통계영역의 교육내용을 정리한 후, 고등학생들에게 확률 및 통계영역에 관한 흥미를 돋구기 위하여 2002년 월드컵을 소재로 한 문제들을 활용하여 비주얼 베이직으로 프로그램한 ‘확률상자’ 라는 확률모형을 개발하였다. 확률상자에는 확률의 역사, 경우의 수, 순열, 같은 것이 있는 순열, 원순열, 조합, 이항계수, 통계적 확률, 조건부 확률, 배반사건 등 모두 10가지 모듈을 포함한다. 확률상자의 초기화면에서 메뉴를 선택하면 선택된 내용에 관한 간단한 정의와 함께 문제가 제시되어 정답을 적도록 하였고, 오답일 때는 힌트를 누르면 정답을 이해할 수 있도록 풀이과정을 제시하였다. 특히, 메뉴가운데서 경우의 수, 순열, 같은 것이 있는 순열, 원순열, 조합, 통계적 확률의 경우에는 풀이과정 중에 애니메이션 또는 시뮬레이션이 실행되도록 하여 이해를 돕도록 하였다.

In teaching probability and statistics classes, we should increase efforts to develop examples that enhance teaching methodology in delivering more meaningful knowledge to students. Sports is one field that provides a variety of examples and World Cup Soccer events are a treasure house of many interesting problems. Teaching, using examples from this field, is an effective way to enhance the interest of students in probability and statistics because World Cup Soccer is a matter of national interest. In this paper, we have suggested several examples pertaining to counting the number of cases and computing probabilities. These examples are related to many issues such as possible scenarios in the preliminary round, victory points necessary for each participant to advance to the second round, and the issue of grouping teams. Based on a simulation using a statistical model, we have proposed a logical method for computing the probabilities of proceeding to the second round and winning the championship for each participant in the 2010 South Africa World Cup.

한국어 문자 인식 후처리는 인식기가 제공하는 후보 음절을 바탕으로 후처리를 하였다. 이 논문은 문자 인식기가 제공하는 후보 음절 대신에 인식기의 인식 결과를 분석하여 인식기의 오인식 통계 정보에 따라 인식 결과 음절의 후보 음절을 생성한다. 여기서 생성된 후보 어절을 각 음절의 확률 값을 이용하여 확률이 가장 놓은 어절을 선택한다. 이때 한국어 대용량 말뭉치에서 추출한 어절의 통계정보를 이용하여 그 어절의 확률 값을 구한다. 이 기법의 장점은 후보 음절의 조합으로 생성된 어절의 확률 값과 그 어절의 말뭉치상의 확률 값을 이용한 결과 말뭉치에 포함된 미등록어 정보에 따라 형태소 분석이 되지 않는 미등록어 처리가 가능하다. 또한 후보 어절 중 형태소 분석이 성공하는 어절이 두개 이상 있을 경우 실제 거의 쓰이지는 않지만 단지 음절의 확률 값이 높아 우선으로 선택되는 경우를 방지하였다. 실험은 약 1,000page 분량의 실험을 통해 오인식 결과를 수집하고, 4000만 원시 말뭉치에서 구한 어절의 통계정보를 이용하였다. 그 결과 문자 인식기의 98.05%의 어절 인식률을 후처리 결과 99.52%로 향상시켰다.

The problem of detecting weak random signals is addressed in a generalized observation model incorporating multiplicative noised which has recently been introduced. It is shown that the locally optimum random-signal detectors in the multiplicative-noise model are interseting generalizations of those which would be obtained in the purely-additive noise model. Examples of explicits results for the locally optimum detector test statistics are given for two typical cases of well-known pdfs.

With advancement of computer and network, world wide web(WWW) as medium of information communication is generalized in many fields. In educational aspect, applications of WWW as alternative media for class teaching or printed matter are increasing. In this article, we demonstrate a web based electronic text on the 'probability and statistics' which is one of six fields of mathematics in 7th curriculum. This text places importance on comprehension of concepts and fundamentals of probability and statistics as applied sciences and not on simple calculations of probability and statistics.
