A Stratified Mixed Multiplicative Quantitative Randomize Response Model (층화 혼합 승법 양적속성 확률화응답모형)

  • We present a mixed multiplicative quantitative randomized response model which added a unrelated quantitative attribute and forced answer to the multiplicative model suggested by Bar-Lev et al. (2004). We also try to set up theoretical grounds for estimating sensitive quantitative attribute according to circumstances whether or not the information for unrelated quantitative attribute is known. We also extend it into the stratified mixed multiplicative quantitative randomized response model for stratified population along with two allocation methods, proportional and optimum allocation. We can see that the various quantitative randomized response models such as Eichhorn-Hayre's model (1983), Bar-Lev et al.'s model (2004), Gjestvang-Singh's model (2007) and Lee's model (2016a), are one of the special occasions of the suggested model. Finally, We compare the efficiency of our suggested model with Bar-Lev et al.'s (2004) and see that the bigger the value of $C_z$, the more the efficiency of the suggested model is obtained.

A Study on the Choice Factors and Possibility of Traditional Market - Compared to Other Competing Markets Based on Consumer Behavior Analyses - (소비행태분석을 통한 전통시장과 경쟁시장 간 선택요인 및 이용확률 비교분석)

  • The present study analyzes the choice factors and possibility of traditional and other competing markets through consumer behavior analyses in order to suggest factors that can help reactivate traditional markets. Hence, Multinomial Logit Model is used as it is an optimum model to understand discrete selection. The results suggested some tendencies regarding traditional market. For example, traditional market is more activated when the market is large and has more parking spaces, and when the level of consumer satisfaction is high. While, increased travel distance and time have negative effects on visitor's choice. Governmental supports are turned out to have less to do with the consumer attraction. People with higher incomes tend to prefer other types of market. The results also suggested there is more likelihood of traditional markets being reactivated if the market is not fiercely competing with other types of markets. Internet market is ranked top in consumer's choice possibility, while traditional market is ranked at the bottom. The plausible factors to reactivate traditional market were physical factors(including increasing shops and parking facilities), which is followed by governmental support.

  • 이변량 빈도해석은 일반적으로 고정지속기간 강우량에 대해 빈도해석하는 단변량 빈도해석에 비해 지속기간을 확률변수로 이용하여 강우량과 동시에 확률변수로 사용할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 확률분포형의 차원이 증가하기 때문에 기존 단변량 빈도해석에서 요구되던 표본크기보다 더 많은 표본이 필요하다. 우리나라 강우관측소의 경우 오래된 관측소의 경우에도 기록년수가 60년을 넘지 않아 연최대계열로 확률표본을 작성할 경우 이변량 빈도해석을 수행하기에 부족할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Peaks Over Threshold (POT) 방법을 이용하여 적정 확률표본을 선택하는 연구를 진행하였다. 서울 기상청 지점의 강우자료로부터 최소무강우시간을 이용하여 모든 강우사상을 추출하였으며 각 강우사상의 강우량과 지속기간이 확률변수로 사용되었다. 기존에 알려진 POT 방법들과 Anderson-Darling 적합도 검정을 이용한 절단값 산정방법등을 적용하여 확률표본 개수의 변화에 따른 주변분포형의 적합도 검정과 이변량 확률모형의 적합성을 살펴보았다.

A Study on the Influences of Korean Consumer Characteristics and Propensity to Purchase in Brand Choice (한국소비자 특성과 구매성향이 브랜드 선택에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study to the analyze characteristics and purchasing activities of consumers by using the Multinomial Logit model, which is a well-known discrete selection model to explain and forecast consumers' selection activities(patterns). The study aims to determine the state of competition between National Brand and Private Band and how some demographic characters and marketing variables influence consumers' brand selections within the facial tissue market. Our analysis process includes reorganization of panel data(individuals' purchasing record at each point) to fit the purpose of our study as well as analysis of probability and influencing factors of consumers' brand selection at each point of purchases. The result showed that consumers at higher age and with higher income hold better probability to purchase National Brand. Likewise, locations also had considerable effect on selecting brand, and Private Brand was preferred in department store and discount stores. On the other hand, consumers loyal to National Brand reported higher probability to purchase if the product prices were higher while Private Brand buyers were more promoted the purchase under price discount.

  • 본 연구에서는 장기유역모형인 SWAT 모형의 국내 적용의 한계를 인식하여 유출해석모듈과 하도수질모듈 등을 개선한 SWAT-K(Korea) 모형을 통해 수질 모형을 사용하는 의사 결정에 있어 하도추적법이 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 현재 우리나라에서 시행중인 오염총량관리제 개념에 적용하였다. 기준 유량 개념을 도입하여 모의된 수질항목을 평가하기 위하여 장기간의 유황곡선을 작성하고 유황곡선의 초과확률분포를 기준으로 오염부하곡선을 작성하여 하도추적법의 변화가 수질 모의에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 수질항목 초과확률분포에 따른 오염부하곡선을 작성하여 모형의 선택에 따라 동일 기준유량시 모의되는 부하량 값의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 수질 항목은 유황의 변화를 매우 유사하게 재현하며, 수질 매개변수 보정에도 불구하고 하도추적법이 수질 항목의 모의에 있어 매우 중요한 요소임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 모형은 정교한 유출 모의와 더불어 오염물질의 신뢰도 높은 모의를 통해 향후 수질오염총량관리제 시행에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Equilibrium of transport mode choice in logit model (로짓 수단선택모형의 균형연구)

  • The transport mode choice problem is to determine which of the alternative transport modes connecting an origin and destination will be used by a traveler. Most of the research relating to transport mode choice have mainly been focused on modeling, properties, and applications of the model, but rarely were concerned with equilibrium among the modes. This paper proves the equilibrium among the modes by using a logit mode choice model, and then verifies it with the Korean Transport Database (KTDB). In order to obtain such an equilibrium, this paper also presents a solution algorithm based on the fixed point theorem. The algorithm was tested with an example and confirmed the equilibrium solution.

  • A statistical method to investigate the relationship between the occurrence of Langerahans cells and neoplastic transformation of uterine cerivx. The best fitting submodel which satisfies the selection criterion similar in type to AIC is selected among the possible submodels based on Poisson probability models. A bootstrap method is used to approximate the sampling distribution of the selection criterion and the usual normal approximation is used to find the asymptotic distribution of the estimated rates.

An empirical study on the influence of product portfolio and interest rate on the lapse rate in the life insurance industry (생명보험산업에서 상품 판매비중과 금리가 해약률에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the influence of product portfolio and interest rate on the lapse ratio. This issue is very important because of the recent introduction of IFRS and CFP. The fixed-effect model and the random-effect model are estimated with using panel data and the Hausman test is employed in order to select a model. The results of this study is summarized as follows. Firstly, the random effect model is selected. According to the model, the lapse rate increases as the portfolio of savings plan, sickness, and death increases and the interest rate is high. Secondly, health insurance and variable insurance product show a negative relationship with the lapse rate.

부산지역 해수면 상승의 확률론적 전망

  • 해수면 상승의 예측에 대한 근본적인 불확실성은 전 지구적 해수면 상승에 대한 가속도와 상대적으로 해수면에 영향을 미치는 지역적인 요소와 연관되어 있다. 최근, 기후 모형을 포함하는 다양한 모형의 결과와 빙하 관측자료, 그리고 이들의 해수면에 대한 기여도는 해수면 상승이 가속화될 것이라는 사실을 나타내지만, 아직 조수 관측과 위성 자료들은 이와 관련된 근거를 발견하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 연안도시 계획 설계자들이 이러한 해수면 상승의 불확실성을 고려할 수 있도록 미래 해수면 상승의 확률론적 산정을 제공하기 위해 최근 해수면 상승 가속과 그 상승률에 대해 선택된 분포와 관측 해수면 자료의 합성을 제시한다. 결과는 프로젝트 취약성을 평가하기 위한 위험도 기반 관리체계의 기준으로서 사용 될 수 있다. 또한, 기후 영향에 의한 해수면의 동역학적 지질물리학의 이해도를 증진시킴으로써, 분포의 선택과 정확성, 그리고 해수면 상승 예측이 개선될 것이라고 기대 된다. 본 연구에서 제시된 방법론은 사례연구로 부산에 적용되어 설명되어 진다.

An Analysis of 3GPP LTE-Advanced Service Introduction and WiBro Active Factors in the Next-generation Telecommunications Service Environment (차세대 통신서비스 환경에서 3GPP LTE-Advanced 도입과 와이브로(WiBro) 활성화 요인분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the selection behavior decision model of telecommunications service under the telecommunication environments with joining the WiBro and 3GPP LTE-Advanced service at the sam time. The research results are as follows. First, mobile telecommunication service selection behavior is correlated with each other between WiBro and 3GPP LTE-Advanced service. Second, in the bivariate probit model estimates such as age, income, expenditure and income variable are important decision variables of WiBro and 3GPP LTE-Advanced service selection behavior. Gender and service using years, however, are not an important variables. The single and bivariate probit estimate results show the same estimation results. Finally, the two service selecting predictions by using the bivariate probit estimated results, 28.6% of WiBro and 25.3% of 3GPP LTE-Advanced were expected. Also, chance to join the two telecommunications services simultaneously is 19.3%. Therefore, WiBro selection probability is a little higher than 3GPP LTE-Advanced. The implications of these results, the future telecommunications service selection will be determined by economic factors such as income and expenditure. Thus, to enable the WiBro, policy means for reducing the excessive telecommunications expenditure are needed in the future.
