시스템 다이내믹스 접근법과 원자력 부문

  • 최근에, 에너지 부문의 지속가능성을 달성하는 하나의 패러다임으로 전체론적 접근법(holistic approach)이 국내외적으로 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 에너지 부문에서, 특히 원자력 시설과 같이 복잡 시스템은 전체론적 접근법 대신에 주로 결정론적 방법이나 확률론적 방법과 같은 기존의 분석적 접근법으로 다뤄지고 있다. 하지만, 시스템 다이내믹스와 같은 전체론적 접근법으로 문제들을 다루는 경우, 기존 접근법으로 얻을 수 없는 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있다. 이 작업의 목적은 한국원자력 부문에 시스템 다이내믹스가 어떻게 적용되고 있는 지 그 현황을 소개하고, 앞으로 이러한 방법론이 활용될 수 있는 가능성을 논의하고자 한다. 이를 통해, 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론과 분석적 방법론의 융합에 기반한 정보와 기술력의 시너지 효과를 기대해 본다.

  • Mostly, the economic analyses for replacement of major components of nuclear power Plants(NPPs) have been performed in deterministic ways. However, the analysis results are more or less affected by the uncertainties associated with input variables. Therefore, it is desirable to use a probabilistic economic analysis method to properly consider uncertainty of real problem. In this paper, the probabilistic economic analysis method and decision analysis technique are briefly described. The probabilistic economy analysis method using decision analysis will provide efficient and accurate way of economic analysis for the repair and/or replace mai or components of NPPs.

A Study on the Probabilistic Stability Analysis of Slopes (확률론적 사면안정 해석기법에 관한 연구)

  • Slope stability analysis is a geotechnical engineering problem characterized by many sources of uncertainty. Some of them are connected to the variability of soil properties involved in the analysis. In this paper, a numerical procedure of probabilistic analysis of slope stability is presented based on Spencer's method of slices. The deterministic analysis is extended to a probabilistic approach that accounts fur the uncertainties and spatial variation of the soil parameters. The procedure is based on the first-order reliability method to compute the Hasofer-Lind reliability index and Monte-Carlo Simulation. A probabilistic stability assessment was performed to obtain the variation of failure probability with the variation of soil parameters in homogeneous and layered slopes as an example. The examples give insight into the application of uncertainty treatment to the slope stability and show the impact of the spatial variability of soil properties on the outcome of a probabilistic assessment.

  • As the corrosion of reinforcing bar in concrete structures exposed to chloride attack is one of main factors to determine the remaining service life, marine concrete structures have to be designed to protect the chloride penetration. Among the durability design methods such as deterministic method and probabilistic method, design method based on the probabilistic theory has been widely studied. However, the most essential material, data of the material properties related to chloride diffusion, are still insufficient. In this paper, the probabilistic distribution of chloride diffusion coefficients and aging coefficients are derived by the experiment and analysis for the chloride coefficients of concrete containing pozzolans, which are generally used in marine structures.

학교수학에서의 정당화 지도의 필요성 및 가능성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 학교수학에서 증명지도의 문제점을 정당화의 측면에서 분석하고, 정당화의 한 방법으로서 확률론적 정당화를 제시하며, 학교수학에서 정당화 지도의 교육적 가치, 정당화 지도의 방향, 정당화 지도의 예와 지도 방법에 대해 논의한다. 이러한 논의에 근거하여 학교수학에서의 정당화 지도의 필요성 및 가능성에 관하여 살펴본다. 본 연구에서 '증명'은 고전적인 의미에서의 증명, 즉 엄밀한(rigorous) 증명, 수학적(mathematical) 증명이고, '정당화'는 기존의 수학적 증명 개념은 물론, 다양한 논증 기법을 포함하는 넓은 의미이다.

Probabilistic Kinematic Analysis of Rock Slope Stability Using Terrestrial LiDAR (지상라이다를 이용한 확률론적 해석기법 기반의 운동학적 안정성 해석)

  • Kinematic analysis determines the stability of rock slope by analyzing the relationship between the slope face orientation and the discontinuity orientation. In this study, terrestrial LiDAR was used to obtain a large amount of discontinuity orientation data and then, the probabilistic characteristics of the orientation data obtained using terrestrial LiDAR were analyzed. Subsequently, the probabilistic kinematic analysis was carried out using the discontinuity orientations generated randomly from Fisher function in Monte Carlo simulation. In addition, the probabilistic kinematic analysis was also performed using the actual orientation data obtained from the terrestrial LiDAR to compare their results. Consequently, the results of both probabilistic analyses showed similar results. Therefore, if sufficient orientation data are provided by other means such as terrestrial LiDAR, the probabilistic analysis will show reasonable results using the actual field data without randomly generating orientation data. In addition, the deterministic kinematic analysis was also carried out using representative orientation of discontinuity sets. The analysis result of the probabilistic analysis showed similar results with the deterministic analysis because the dispersion of the discontinuity orientations in a joint set is not large.

  • 위 인식은 이동 로봇의 자율 주행을 위한 필수 기능이다. 위치 추정을 위해서 Bayes Filter를 기본으로한 칼만 필터 방법들이 주로 제안되어졌고 최근에는 Particle Filter 방법이 제안되어져 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 영역센서를 장착한 이동 로봇의 위치 추정을 위해 레이저 영역 센서를 이용하는 Particle Filter 방법을 구현하였다. Particle Filter방법은 Kalman Filter 방법에 비해서 구현이 간단하면서도 Kidnapping 문제에도 대응할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 위치 추정의 수렴도, 정확도, 그리고 Kidnapping 발생시의 위치 추정 성능등을 분석하여, 기존 방법의 성능을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • It is common that the analysis of VE/LCC is performed in design phase of quay wall structures. The analysis is mainly executed based on experience and engineering sense of expert considering the selection of construction method, construction and maintenance cost. Recently there are increasing demands on the analysis that includes uncertainty and vulnerability of input parameters, for this purpose, fuzzy reliability based probabilistic VE/LCC analysis model for quay wall structures is suggested. In VE/LCC analysis for quay wall structures, the application of probabilistic analysis method give very similar results compare with those of deterministic analysis method. It is anticipated that the methodology proposed in this paper can also be utilized in the design and maintenance phase of other facilities where decision making is made for the probabilistic life cycle cost and value analysis.

Probabilistic Approach for Fighter Inlet Hammershock Design Pressure (전투기 흡입구 해머쇼크 설계압력에 대한 확률론적 접근법)

  • Inlet hammershock is the critical loads condition for designing the inlet duct structure of a fighter. The sudden flow reduction in engine compressor causes inlet hammershock with high pressure. The traditional method was used to combine extreme conditions (maximum speed, sea level altitude, and cold day) to analyze this compression wave inlet hammershock pressure. However, after the 90s there have been papers that presented the probabilistic approach for the inlet hammershock to achieve the appropriate design pressure. This study shows how to analyze the inlet hammershock pressure by making practical use of the Republic of Korea Air Force real flight usage data under probabilistic approach and then analyze approximately 30% decreased inlet hammershock pressure compared with the traditional valve.
