As the aging society progresses and the functional cosmetics market is revitalized we have learned that the functional cosmetics that the silver generation is most interested in are wrinkle-improving products and we are making great efforts to develop functional cosmetics that improve wrinkles. The ingredients are actually making. From the early 2000s when the development of functional cosmetics began to the present the research trends of functional cosmetics for wrinkle improvement were analyzed by analyzing papers on functional cosmetics for wrinkle improvement. Research methods focused on literature search and SIRS paper search keywords. And the cosmetic material that needs to be researched focuses on the anti-aging function among functional cosmetics which is the anti-wrinkle function. The research results show the rapid growth of the Anti-aging market. As the population ages the generation of silver with high purchasing power will expand and a market for expensive anti-aging products and services for a healthy old age will be formed.

최근 기초화장품 트렌드로 클린 화장품, 비건 화장품 등이 브랜드별로 새롭게 출시되고 시장내 성장하고 있다. 한동안 화장품의 성분에 대한 관심과 영향이 커지면서 기능성화장품, 코스메슈티컬화장품, 더마화장품들이 신뢰를 얻고 인기가 있던 가운데, 효능 외의 요소를 소구하는 브랜드와 제품에 대한 관심이 커지고 있는 중이다. 본 연구는 이러한 변화에 있어 소비자의 라이프스타일과 소비가치의 상관관계가 영향이 있을 것으로 보고 이를 분석하고자 한다. 또한 ESG가 강조되는 사회 분위기 속에 클린 화장품 또는 비건 화장품의 소비가 일종의 자기표현의 욕구를 충족시켜주는 역할로써의 관계가 있는지도 알아보고자 한다. 따라서 기초 화장품을 사용하는 소비자들을 대상으로 라이프스타일과 자기표현욕구가 비건화장품 구매의도에 미치는 영향 및 소비가치를 매개변수로 하여 라이프스타일과 자기표현욕구와 구매의도 간의 영향을 살펴하고자 한다. 독립변수는 라이프스타일의 하위변수인 외모관리 지향형, 질적건강추구형으로 구분하였고, 자기표현욕구를 사용하였다. 설문조사는 대학생, 직장인, 주부등 20대부터 40대까지 연령층을 대상으로 진행하여 실증분석에 사용할 예정이다. SPSS v22.0을 사용하여 3단계 매개모형을 기반으로 회기분석할 예정이다.

계란은 종래 전란 혹은 난백 및 난황으로만 분리되어 식품에 이용되어 왔으나 최근 분리, 정제기술의 진전으로 계란에 함유되어 있는 단백질을 비롯한 성분이 추출되어 의약품, 화장품 및 건강식품의 소재로서 이용되고 있다. 계란은 유, 육과 마찬가지로 동물성 단백질원이라는 측면 외에 유, 육이 가지고 있지 못한 기능 즉 계란으로부터 생명이 탄생한다는 신비스러운 기능을 갖고 있다. 계란이 단순한 에너지의 공급원이 아니라 생명체를 탄생시킨다는 것은 아직까지도 과학적인 방법에 의하여 밝혀지지 않은 새로운 기능을 가진 성분이 계란 중에 함유되어 있을 가능성이 크다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 본란에서는 계란의 새로운 용도개발을 위하여 기능성을 중심으로 계란성분을 고찰해 보기로 한다.

식품의약품안전처는 화장품 중 일부 살균 보존제 성분에 대한 자체위해평가 결과 및 제외국(EU) 조치사항 등을 반영해 사용 시 주의사항에 표시 문구를 신설함으로써 화장품 안전관리를 제고하고자 "화장품법" 제10조 제1항 및 제4항 규정에 따른 "화장품 사용 시의 주의사항 표시에 관한 규정"(식품의약품안전처 고시 제2014-78호, 2014. 2. 12)을 개정 고시했다. 다음에 주요내용과 부칙 등에 관해 살펴보도록 한다.

보건복지가족부는 화장품 부작용의 원인 규명 등을 위하여 화장품 제조에 사용된 모든 성분을 표시하도록 의무화하는 내용으로 "화장품법"이 개정(법률 제8646호, 2007. 10. 17. 공포. 2008. 10. 18 시행)됨에 따라 법률에서 위임된 사항을 정하는 한편, 안전성과 유효성이 확보된 기능성화장품의 품목별 심사를 면제하는 등 현행 제도의 운영상 나타난 일부 미비점을 개선.보완하려는 취지 아래 다음과 같은 내용을 공포했다.

At present, there are few research papers on skin penetration of cosmeceutical ingredients. What is worse is that in vivo studies are hard to find. In this study, we measured skin epidermal penetration of cosmeceutical ingredients using in vivo Raman spectroscopy and compared with the results obtained from experiments using in vitro franz cell. Results showed that ascorbyl-2-glucoside, retinol, retinyl palmitate, and kojic acid were good for penetration ratio in measurement in vitro and retinol, vitamin C, and arbutin were good in measurement in vivo. Among them, retinol was best in skin penetration in vivo experiment using Raman spectroscopy and ascorbyl-2-glucoside was best in skin penetration in vitro experiment using Franz cell system. It is estimated that the differences were originated from the experimental procedures of two different methods; in vivo Raman experiment can be sensitive to the effect of epidermis and dermis as characteristics of matter by estimating the stratum corneum and in vitro measurement is evaluation of material to penetrate skin of hairless mouse. However, most penetration barrier is the stratum corneum, thus it is important to examine movement of material in the stratum corneum. We expect that these results provided useful information for many cosmetic related research.

This study attempted to establish an optimal multi-compound simultaneous analysis method that can secure reliable results for 15 - preservatives, 2 - sun screens and 1 - antioxidants of cosmetics using HPLC-PDA. Since the potential of hydrogen (pH) in the mobile phase affects the acid dissociation constant (pKa) of the preservatives, and the peak retention time shift and area change were observed. The peak separation condition was established by adjusting the pH to 0.1% H₃PO₄ addition (mL) when preparing the mobile phase. As a results of method validation, the linearity correlation coefficient (R²) of above 0.999 were obtained, and accuracy 87.9 ~ 101.1%, 0.1 ~ 7.6% precision for two types of cosmetics (cream and shampoo). It was found that the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.1 ~ 0.2 mg/kg and the limit of quantitation (LOQ) was 2.0 ~ 4.0 mg/kg. In addition, it was possible to simultaneously separate p-anisic acid, a natural compound that was difficult to separate in HPLC due to the small difference from methylparaben, a synthetic preservatives. Through this study, it will be effectively used to secure quality control and safety for compound that need restrictions on use cosmetics.

In order to use the Schizandra chinensis seed oil as a basic material of cosmetic component, the research was done by analyzed components of Schizandra chinensis seed oil and evaluation it's stability with GC and GC/MSD. As a result, it's main component were showed as palmitic acid and oleic acid. It has excellent stability because it's ingredients did not change under the heat. Also, the antioxidant effect used DPPH(1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) test method, indicated higher radical scavenging ability compare to widely-use macademia nut oil and olive oil. Collagen synthesis effect also appeared outstanding. Therefore, the Schizandra chinensis seed oil was determined that it has possibility to be used well for cosmetic material.

Pycnogenol is used as a dietary supplement based on various medical research studies suggesting health benefits. In recent years, it has also been used in cosmetic products, but the clinical research on its dermatologic effects has been insufficient. This study was designed to determine the effectiveness of pycnogenol topically applied to skin of individuals with acne in their teens and twenties. Cosmetics containing 0.2% pycnogenol were applied to a group of 11 clinical subjects for 6 weeks and their skin conditions were assessed. The group that used cosmetics with pycnogenol showed decrease in P-Acnes, acne causing bacteria, phorphyrin index, a metabolite, and the pigmentation and redness index. This study confirms that pycnogenol extract is effective dermatologically in decreasing acne bacteria and reducing redness and pigmentation of skin affected by acne.
