This paper is to present a selected method of circuit parameters in the inverter part of the electronic dimming ballast fer fluorescent lamps, that is adffIuate to use with the prevailing dimming controller IC. Through the experirrent result using the prototype of the electronic dimming ballast rroduced by this rrethod, its validity is verified from the electrical and light outplt characteristics on fluorescent lamps. Also, it is feasible to rerrnte automatic and passive control for dimming electronic ballast as using a micrqrocessor, and we easily recognize the lamp condition owing to rmke a program indicate abnormal behavior for fluorescent lamp at PC screen.screen.

프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량은 콘크리트와 PS 강재의 역학적 장점들을 십분 활용하여 경제적인 단면 구성이 가능한 반면, 서로 다른 두 재료의 복합적인 특성들 즉, 콘크리트의 크리이프 (creep), 건조수축 (shrinkage)과 PS 강재의 이완 (relaxation) 등과 같이 시간에 따라 변화하는 인자들로 인하여 복잡한 구조적 거동을 보여 해석상 어려움이 따른다. 이와같은 복합거동은 시공순서와 시공방법에 의해 시공중의 구조계와 지지조건 등이 변화하는 경우에는 더욱 복잡한 양상을 띄게 된다. 뿐만 아니라 박스 거더와 같은 박벽요소에서는 일반적인 보요소(beam element)로는 나타낼 수 없는 ？(warping)을 무시할 수 없으므로 ？ 자유도를 구현할 수 있는 특수한 기능의 구조해석용 프로그램의 개발이 절실히 요망된다. 그리고 시공단계별로 출력되는 많은 양의 수치결과들을 설계와 시공실무자에 지향된 형태로 조합, 변형시켜 그래픽 화면상에 나타내는 후처리 프로그램(Post-processor) 기능도 구조해석용 프로그램의 개발 못지않게 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 삼성종합건설과 서울대 토목공학과가 공동으로 ？(warping) 자유도를 포함한 7개의 자유도를 갖는 3차원 보요소를 사용하여 PS 콘크리트의 재료적 특성인 크리이프와 건조수축, 그리고 강재의 이완(relaxation)을 포함한 프리스트레싱력의 손실을 고려할 수 있고 시공 단계별 구조계의 변화 및 지지조건들의 다양한 변화를 효율적으로 모사할 수 있는 프로그램의 개발에 있다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a new Haptic Dial System (HDS) for Virtual Prototyping by developing upgraded systems and various Haptic effects. The Haptic Effect Design (HED) which gives users sensations like handling actual products has a function of controlling loudness by force and changing Haptic effects on GUI windows in real-time. In addition, the HED has another function of editing intervals to express Haptic effects as graphical force and notch on windows. Many kind of dial knob can be attached and removed easily for testing the performance of actual product designs. The HDS can be remotecontrolled through giving and taking the information between motor part and GUI part with TCP communication. The HDS can be applied to the output devices of Haptic effects as well as input-interfaces.

This article proposes a POD system framework which creates templates by using the Web service environment with good accessibility, provides them so that users can easily edit them, and uses COM ports following Web standard capable of real-time printing with the same quality as edited files. The characteristic of framework proposed in this article is that it creates programs which users with basic skill in Internet use can learn and use relatively easily when compared with existing specialized editing programs and which allows users to print real-time such files as personally created by them in the same quality as on the screen, and thereby enhances accessibility thereof.

The purpose of this study was to propose the method to recognize gestures based on inertia sensor which recognizes the movements of the user using inertia sensor and lets the user enjoy the game by comparing the recognized movements with the pre-defined movements for the game contents production. Additionally, it was tried to provide users with various data entry methods by letting them wear small controllers using three-axis accelerator sensor. Users can proceed the game by moving according to the action list printed on the screen. They can proceed the experiential games according to the accuracy and timing of their movements. If they use multiple small wireless controllers together wearing them on the major parts of hands and feet and utilize the proposed methods, they will be more interested in the game and be absorbed in it.

a-Si(amorphous silicon) TFT(thin film transistor)는 TFT-LCD(liquid crystal display)의 화소 스위칭(switching) 소자로 폭넓게 이용되고 있다. 현재는 a-Si을 이용하여 gate drive IC를 기판에 집적하는 ASG(amorphous silicon gate) 기술이 연구, 적용되고 있는데 이때 가장 큰 제약은 문턱 전압(Vth)의 이동이다. 특히 고온에서는 문턱 전압의(Vth) 이동이 가속화 되고, Ioff current가 증가 하게 되고, 저온($0^{\circ}C$)에서는 전류 구동능력이 상온($25^{\circ}C$) 상태에서 같은 게이트 전압(Vg)에 대해서 50% 수준으로 감소하게 된다. 특히 ASG 회로는 여러 개의 TFT로 구성되는데, 각각의 TFT가 고온에서 Vth shift 값이 다르게 되어 설계시 예상하지 못 한 고온에서의 화면 무너짐 현상 즉 고온 노이즈 불량이 발생 할 수 있다. 고온 노이즈 불량은 고온에서의 각 TFT의 문턱전압 및 $I_D-V_G$ 특성을 측정한 결과 고온 노이즈 불량에 영향을 주는 인자가 TFT의 width와 기생 capacitor비 hold TFT width가 영향을 주는 것으로 실험 및 시뮬레이션 결과 확인이 되었다. 발생 mechanism은 ASG 회로는 AC 구동을 하기 때문에 Voff 전위에 ripple이 발생 되는데 특히 고온에서 ripple이 크게 증가 하여 출력 signal에 영향을 주어 불량이 발생하는 것을 규명하였다.

An Integrated processing system for finite element structural analysis has been studied. It is designed to control integratedly the preprocessing, the execution and the postprocessing of a finite element structural analysis program on Windows. It becomes a better graphic user interface(GUI) for the concurrent representation of various inputs and outputs through the dialog-type on multi-windows by the multi-tasking and the object linking and embedding(OLE). Data input can be done easily through menus, dialog boxes and automatic stepwise inputs on the multiple windows, and then output results can be seen with input data on the same screen. Efficiency and validity of the system were examined by solving several numerical examples.

Current paper introduces the multimedia functional module and related interface development for digital TV. The module is developed for displaying the image captured by digital still camera, camcorder, or PC in the digital TV. For these purposes, the module has the interface circuit for accessing five media type of memory cards. It decodes JPEG, BMP, or TIFF image date saved in the memory card and converts the image data to analog RGB signal. It also supports three types of output image size from HD(High Definition) to WXGA(Wide Extended Graphics Array) resolution. So the introduced module could be adopted in all kinds of digital TV set.

Because of various style-sheet and Korean-Fonts, converting from WYSIWYG types of HTML data to forms of PDF has many limitations. In print-work areas, for printing specific fonts, it has to use CMYK colors instead of RGB colors. This paper describes about the process to make web font to printing PDF files, which is high resolution image captured document based on HTML, by using COM component feature of hardware.

In this paper, various growth environment data collecting and monitoring based on wireless sensor network for greenhouse environmental monitoring system is designed and implemented. In addition, greenhouse control system is proposed to integrated control and management in internal environment and greenhouse facilities. The system provides real-time remote greenhouse integrated management service which collects greenhouse environment information and controls greenhouse facilities based on wireless sensor network. Graphical user interface for an integrated management system is designed based on the HMI and the experimental results show that the sensor data were collected by integrated management in real-time.
