Roundabouts have been operated in Europe, America and Australia since the 1970s, and many relevant researches continually was carried out. Though many studies regarding roundabout have been recently conducted in korea, most of them have focused on its operational safety and efficiency. Moreover, roundabout design guideline did not define a clear criteria related to pedestrian in roundabout, but seldom investigate the influences of pedestrian on crosswalk. In this study, we seek ways to operate the pedestrian crosswalk signal on roundabout maximizing their operational effects in exceptional case such as rush hour or intersection near the special facilities. We proved that roundabout signal operation is effective under certain circumstances in according to the number of pedestrian, and suggested the optimal signal timing plan for signalized roundabouts. For pursuing the above, we conducted the simulation test using the VISSIM model. The results show that the operational effectiveness of signalized roundabout was evaluated to be better than non-signalized roundabout in specific pedestrian volume condition. In addition, those results are confirmed using simulation analysis conducted on the real roundabout.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the consumer-brand relationship quality on the customer satisfaction in the family restaurant. The questionnaires were distributed to 320 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by convenience-sampling method. The surveys were conducted from November 10 to 24, 2005. The 287 questionnaires responded, and 15 unusable questionnaires were excluded, then 272 were used for the final analysis (response rate: 85.0%). For the statistical analysis, SPSS (12.0) was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study showed that 2 constructs (trust and intimacy) of consumer-brand relationship quality have significant positive effects on the customer satisfaction in the family restaurant (p < .001). It meant that as consumer-brand relationship quality becomes stronger, the customer satisfaction becomes greater. As a conclusion, the foodservice manager in the family restaurant should focus on the marketing strategy to strengthen the quality of consumer-brand relationship in order to increase the satisfaction of customers.
This study examined and analyzed users' behavior to recreation forest facilities and their satisfaction to recreation forest in order to offer some basal data which would be helpful to create new recreation forest, to supply users' needs in exsiting recreation forest, and to make excellent maintenance of recreation forest. The results are as follows ; Restroom, campground and forest aromatic bath ground were the most popular facilities with the users of recreation forest. And restroom, snack stand and water cooler were the most required facilities by the users. Before using recreation forest, users' expectation to enjoy aesthetics of nature, to be released from their fatigue and to rest, was the highest one. And users were satisfied most as they expected most from recreation forest. The major variables played for users' satisfaction about facility allocation and its harmony to the forest, were how clean the facilities are, how well they are repaired and maintained, how much noise users make around them, how easy to use them, and how beautiful the surroundings are. Users' satisfaction variables about vegetation condition of recreation forest, were diversity of vegetation, the shade of trees, the reservation of the forest, and the accordance of vegetation with the surroundings. Users' satisfaction variables about facility condition in recreation forest, were how easy to access to the recreation facilities and restroom, how clean they are, how well the trash cans are allocated, how easy to access to the field kitchen. And how good the forest is protected and nurtured, how well the forest managers conduct users' behavior, how effectively recreation forest is guided and informed to the public, were their major satisfaction variables about the management of Recreation Forest.

The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate patient safety reporting promoting strategy for nurses to improve nursing care quality. The process included three phase - construction, implementation and evaluation phase. Before the construction phase has two kinds of subcategories as analysis and verification. Analysis phase was consisted of literature review and field study, and verification was conducted by two specialist. At the construction phase, patient safety reporting system, educational materials, planning for public relation, and reward preparation were developed. After implementation during 12 weeks, we evaluated pre-post scores of satisfaction, stress of conscience, job performances. The participants were 51 nurses working for a hospitals. The program was developed and then administered to the experimental group for 12 weeks. One group pretest-posttest design was used for this study. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, paired t-test with the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. After the intervention, job performance scores improved significantly from 3.62 to 3.75(t=2.653, p=.009). But job stress didn't changed significantly(t=.785, p=.434). These strategy can be applied to many clinical setting that will be helpful to promote patient safety reporting for nurses.

This study was undertaken to investigate factors that affect the assessment of complications in diabetic eye and kidney diseases. Data was obtained from the National Community Health Survey, 2017. The subjects included were 25,829 respondents who had been diagnosed with diabetes. Logistic regression analysis was applied to determine the factors affecting associated diabetic eye disease (fundus examination) and kidney disease (microalbuminuria examination) complications. The diabetic eye disease complication rate was 35.6%, and diabetic kidney disease complication rate was 39.8%. Complications arising due to diabetes were determined to be 35.6% for eye diseases and 39.8% for kidney related diseases. Ed. Notes: The original sentence is not very lucid. This study subject is to provide appropriately basic information about annually increased implant treatment by their lost teeth base on increasing old people and also analyze factors influencing implant treatment decisions for patient. For about 3 month from July on the 2010, This survey was carried out at 13 dental clinic as target of 217 patients on categorized into implant treatment-group and non-treatment-group in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Implant treatment-group showed highest portion at 50(30.3%), non- Implant treatment-group showed highest portion at 20's(35.7%), And The patients of implant treatment-group are good oral condition, and they showed a positive attitude. Result of analysis by multiple logistic analysis(regression), Factors of influencing implant treatment decision are age, gender, period of education, monthly income, condition of periodontal tissue, regular checkup, counseling attitude, trust in hospital. Therefore, proactive management about the necessity of regular dental check-up is needed the education and promotion. And medical team should have efforts to Improving technique of medical consultations and Improving the trust of the hospital's for implant treatment decision. Also, The patient's subjective determine rather than it is important to preparing to facilitate decision of specific clinical basis. And The government's financial support and policy alternatives are certainly required in order to be implant treatment without cost burden.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the consumer-brand relationship Quality (CBRQ) on the brand loyalty in the fast food restaurant in Masan, Korea. The Questionnaires were distributed to 250 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by convenience-sampling method. The surveys were performed from December 6 to 14, 2004. The 246 Questionnaires were responded, and 12 unusable Questionnaires were excluded, then 234 were used for the final analysis $(response rate:\;93.7\%)$. For the statistical analysis, SPSS (12.0) was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. The result of this study showed that 2 constructs (satisfaction and commitment) of consumer-brand relationship Quality have significant positive effects on the brand loyalty in the fast food restaurant. It meant that as consumer-brand relationship quality becomes stronger, the customer's brand loyalty becomes greater. The differences of customer loyalty between the high and low group of self-connective attachment, satisfaction, commitment, trust and intimacy were significant. So the brand loyalty of high group of customer-brand relationship quality was significantly higher than that of low group of customer-brand relationship quality. As a conclusion, the operator in the fast food restaurant should focus on the marketing strategy to strengthen the quality of consumer-brand relationship in order to increase the brand loyalty of customers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate present situation of recovery and treatment of waste home appliances, and to supply basic data for active reuse and recycling of waste home appliances. Among waste home appliances, refrigerator comprise 30.7%, television 37.8%, washing machine 22.9% and air conditioner 0.3%. Local government collected 46.2% of waste home appliances, producer and agent collected 49.7%, recycling center 4.1%. Seventeen percentage of waste home appliances are reused, 65% are recycled, and 18% are landfilled or incinerated. To improve the recycling activity of waste of home appliances, it is important to establish private reuse and recycling organization. It is also necessary to improve waste deposit and refund system for efficient recycling by decent financial support. Extension of a term of usage is another method to minimize waste home appliances. Finally, intensive education for consumer is necessary for waste minimization. Some portion of recycling and treatment cost can be allocated to the local government and large private business can shred and recycle waste home appliances.
The purpose of this study is to examine the role of safety sheriffs and their necessity in order to improve the activation of safety sheriff's professionalism. Seven security sheriffs were finally selected to discuss their activities and discuss ways to improve their effectiveness. We conducted semi - structured interviews and conducted in - depth interviews with limited data and inadequate prior research. The results of this study are as follows. First, the government should get the help of citizens, citizens and residents. If the state wishes to reduce the number of safety accidents and bring positive results to the public, it should not rely solely on the utilization of institutions. Second, in order to be a safe sheriff with a positive response from the local residents, the activities of the sheriff's sheriff are not only aimed at preventing risks in the environmental domain and reducing the number of accidents, Publicity should be provided to the landlord, tenant, and residents to inform them that the activity is preventive of accident prevention. Third, under the current law, it is necessary to disclose public facilities such as roads, airports, and harbors to the private sector in order to make it possible to monitor school facilities and youth training facilities. Fourth, the safety sheriff is expected to put forward the expectations and positive results of prevention through the beginning of the inspection activities, and the role of the Korean people in becoming psychological stable and efforts to be born as safety experts are required. Finally, it is necessary to establish a concrete manual, strategic safety inspection plan.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the level of understanding of hospice palliative care (HPC) and shared decision making (SDM) among middle-aged adults. Methods: Data were collected from 90 middle-aged adults living in D city using a self-reported questionnaire. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data. Results: Among the participants, 76.7% were aware of the HPC while 82.2% of the participants were not aware of SDM. Among all, 85.6% responded positively for needs of HPC, and 77.8% of participants for SDM. Participants with Christian faith (Protestants and Catholics), high income level and present illness were better aware of HPC than others. The most needed services were nursing care and treatment along with systematic counseling and explanation provided by the medical staff. There was also a significant relationship between the HPC factors, gender, income, current health status and current illness status. Participants with high income level were well aware of SDM. Stronger SDM needs were observed among participants with professional jobs or current illness. Conclusion: For continued discussion on HPC and SDM, it is necessary to implement and promote various education programs for medical staff and the public.
