Clear cell chondrosarcoma is a very rare malignant bone tumor that shows a strong predilection for the epiphysis or metaphysis of long bones. Many studies have reported that the proximal end of the femur is the most commonly affected site, followed by the proximal end of the humerus. Histopathologically, tumor cells of this type have centrally located round nucleoli with clear cytoplasm and a distinct cytoplasmic membrane. Generally, clear cell chondrosarcomas is not confused with conventional chondrosarcomas. However, when it involves the diaphysis in long bones, diagnosis can be hindered, as only three reports of this exist in the literature. We report herein an unusual case of clear cell chondrosarcoma of the tibial diaphysis in a 42-year-old male.

Recognition and Tracking of interesting object is the significant field in Computer Vision. Mean-Shift algorithm have chronic problems that some errors are occurred when histogram of tracking area is similar to another area. in this paper, we propose to solve the problem. Each algorithm blocks skin color filtering, face detect and Mean-Shift started consecutive order assists better operation of the next algorithm. Avoid to operations of the overhead of tracking area similar to a histogram distribution areas overlap only consider the number of white pixels by running the Viola-Jones algorithm, simple arithmetic increases the convergence of the Mean-Shift. The experimental results, it comes to 78% or more of white pixels in the Mean-Shift search area, only if the recognition of the face area when it is configured to perform a Viola-Jones algorithm is tracking the object, was 100 percent successful.

This study analyzed the early retired employees who stayed in company no longer than 3 years based on a certain company's personality evaluation result data. The predicted model was analyzed by dividing into two categories; the manufacture group and the R&D group. Independent variables were selected according to the stepwise method. A logistic regression model was selected as a prediction model among various supervised learning methods, and trained through cross-validation to prevent over-fitting or under-fitting. The accuracy of the two groups were confirmed by the confusion matrix. The most influential factor for early retirement in the manufacture group was revealed as "immersion," and for the R&D group appeared as "antisocial." In the past, people concentrated on collecting data by questionnaire and identifying factors that are highly related to the retirement, but this study suggests a sustainable early retirement prediction model in the future by analyzing the tangible outcome of the recruitment process.

Global commerce is apparently here to bind Korean firms as well as Koreans. The advertising, buying and selling of goods and services recognizes no borders. As a result, enforcing territorially based trademark rights has become ever more challenging. Remote trademark owners who peacefully coexisted in a time before the internet and increasing globalism are now bumping heads. The internet also has made it easier for unscrupulous operators to deceive consumers and divert customers from established businesses by misappropriating trademarks on web-sites and in domain names. U.S. federal courts have been willing to help American businesses halt trademark infringements that reaches outside the United States. This is particularly true for e-business, via the internet, and the trend toward enforcement seems to be in favor of the trademark owner. This article discusses this trend as well as the extraterritorial enforcement of trademark rights by U.S. courts under the Lanham Act. It also offers suggestions for protecting valuable trademark rights worldwide. This paper will contribute to global Korean firms and Koreans who carefully read arguments in this valuable literature.

An unrecorded variety, Viola betonicifolia var. albescens (Nakai) F. Maek. & T. Hashim., was reported from Jeonju, Imsil, and Jinan in Jeollabukdo province, Korea. Viola betonicifolia var. albescens shares several characteristics with its related species V. patrinii Ging. (i.e., white flowers, long triangular blades, winged petioles, green pedicels, and a rounded sepal appendage), but is distinct from V. patrinii, which has a glabrous winged petiole, colorless upper petals, glabrous upper petals, and higher elevation habitats, in that it has a pubescent winged petiole, striate-colored upper petals, bearded upper petals, and lower elevation habitats. It is also distinguished from V. lactiflora Nakai, which has glabrous wingless petioles, red pedicels, and a toothed sepal appendage.

Foreign bodies in food and air passage, especially the latter in infants and children requires emergency treatment. The frequent symptoms are coughing, wheezing, and dyspnea, So may be confused as asthma, pneumonia and acute Laryngitis. The species and incidence of the foregin bodies are variable according to the age, method of life, environment and economic condition. The authors experienced 35 cases of foreign body in air passage during the period of last 3yrs which were treated by ventilating Bronchoscopy, and thoractomy in this hospital. One of them was lead to death. The authors analysed above cases and report with it's literature consideration. Results: 1. The prevalent foreign bodies were peanut, metal, food particles in order of frequency. 2. In frequent symptoms were dyspnea, coughing and wheezing in the order. 3. In the age incidence, 48% of the foreign bodies were 1∼5yrs. 4. In sex distribution, male to female ratio was 2.1: 1 5. In duration of lodgment, 65% of the foreign body were removed within 24hrs. 6. Most prevalent site of the foreign body was Rt. main bronchus Rt. to Lt. ratis was 2 : 1 was 7. Treatment was done; 25 cases were by ventilating bronchoscopy.

This study is to suggest ways to supplement terms and notes in the field of parapsychology and occultism in the KDC 6th edition. In order to this study, the comparative analysis of KDC and DDC analyzed the classification system and change process of classification items, classified data in parapsychology and occultism. Based on this, the analysis academic characteristics and problems of parapsychology and occultism field were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the lack of notes and inadequacy of terms caused confusion in classification, to solve this problem, this study suggests the solution of adding notes of sub-items, changing term of 187.2, 187.3, 187.4, 187.5.

Recently, CCTV, which provides video information for multiple purposes, has been transformed into an intelligent, and the range of automation applications increased using the computer vision. A highly reliable detection method must be performed for accurate recognition of pedestrians and vehicles and various methods are being studied for this purpose. In such an object detection system. In this paper, we propose a method to detect a large number of pedestrians by acquiring three characteristic information that features of color information using HSI, motion vector information and shaping information using HOG feature information of a pedestrian in a situation where a large number of pedestrians are moving. The proposed method distinguishes each pedestrian while minimizing the failure or confusion of pedestrian detection and tracking. Also when pedestrians approach or overlap, pedestrians are identified and detected using stored frame feature data.

The marine accident investigation of Korean Marine Safety Tribunal does not keep up with the international rule and guideline. Also there is no manual for a proper investigation into the marine accident. This study analyzed the investigation system and manual of Korea. USA and Japan etc., and proposed the new investigation system and manual of KMST including the inquiry guideline according to the type of marine accident.

In 1969, Y.J. Yun wrote the terrestrial navigation text book that discussed earth sciences, aides to navigation, chart and publications, tide and tidal current, piloting, rhumb-line sailing, great circle sailing grounded on the hand-on background and theory. It has still been used as a principle text book in a lot of maritime academies and schools. And many contents and definitions came from other terrestrial navigation books published in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Japan. But some of them have caused the misunderstanding because they had no enough explanation and explained by incorrect items. In this study, we have found out the problems in the terms course and heading which are related with the direction of the vessel movement, and proposed the amended definitions in order to prevent the misunderstanding and confusion. of them.
