The Effects on the Convergence Vital Capacity and Maximal Voluntary Volume of 20's Normals Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Respiration Exercise by Sitting Position (45도 기대어 앉은 자세에서 PNF호흡운동이 20대 정상인의 복합적 폐활량과 최대환기량에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether PNF respiratory exercise increases the vital capacity and maximal voluntary volume of 20s normal adults by 45° leaning sitting position. Twenty normal adults in their 20s were randomly assigned to an experimental group and control group. Over the course of four weeks, the experimental group participated in PNF respiration exercises by 45° leaning position for 30 minutes three per week. And the control group participated in diaphragm respiration exercises by 45° leaning position for 30 minutes three times per week. Subjects were assessed post-test by measurement of vital capacity, maximal voluntary volume. Our findings show that the experimental group had significant improvements in vital capacity, maximal voluntary volume(p<.05). In this study, the experimental group showed more improvement in pulmonary function, which indicates that the PNF respiratory exercise by 45° leaning sitting position is effective at increasing the pulmonary function of normal adults.

  • CNS의 인간공학적 실험 평가 항목중 중요 요소의 하나인 운전원의 인지적 작업부하(정보입력, 의사결정, 및 정서적 부하)를 평가하기 위해 인지적부하를 부과할 수 있는 사건 시나리오 구성방법, 피실험자에 대한 훈련 방법, 실험과 디브리핑을 통한 운전원 행위 및 사건 경위 기록 체계를 개발하였다. 운전원 행위자료 데이타베이스에는 특정 요소행위 시점, 관측행위 분류, 사용된 표시장치, 의사결정내용, 사용된 조종장치, 조종행위분류, 운전원간 의사소통 내용, 정서상태, 표시장치 및 조종장치의 사용편의성 여부 및 불편이유, 주요사건 발생시점에 관한 정보가 기록되었다. 운전중 CNS 운전원에 제시되는 자극의 변화에 수반되는 운전원의 생리적 변화를 측정하여 이로부터 운전원이 받는 정신부하를 측정하는 체계를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 ECG, EEG, 호흡패턴,피부온도, 수평EOG, 수직EOG, 심박률, 및 호흡률의 생리변수에 대한 측정이 이루 어졌으며 각각의 신호를 초당 100개씩 샘플링하여 A/D 변환하고 정신부하 추정 알고리즘을 거쳐 정신부하 여부를 판정하는 점수를 구하였다. 다차원의 정신부하 판정 점수는 OR gate에 의해 통합되어 정신부하 발생시점과 함께 정신부하데이터베이스에 기록되었다.

  • 정서는 생리적 반응을 수반하는 주관적인 경험이다. 뇌파와 자율신경계 반응의 차이에 의한 기본정서 구분 연구는 보고된 바가 없다. 본 연구에서는 1) 여섯 기본정서를 뚜렷하게 유발하는 정서자극을 선정하고, 이를 사용하여 2) 기본정서를 구분할 수 있는 심리생리적 복합 지표 모델을 개발하고자 하였다. 국제정서사진체계에서 여섯 기본정서 (행복, 슬픔, 분노, 혐오, 공포, 놀람) 각각을 신뢰롭게 유발하는 여섯 쌍의 슬라이드를 선택하였다. 슬라이드 제시에 의하여 유발되는 뇌파, 심전도, 호흡, 피부전기반응을 기록하여 분석/비교하였다. 주요결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 뇌파의 상태적 출현량, 심박률, 호흡률, 피부전도반응은 안정상태와 정서상태간의 비교에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 뇌파분석결과에서는 theta (F4, 01), slow alpha (F3, F4), fast alpha (O2), fast beta (F4, O2)파의 상대적 출현량 변화값이 일부 정서들간에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 자율신경계 분석결과에서는 심박률, 호흡률, 피부전도반응이 일부 정서들간에 유의미한 차이를 보여주었다. 이들 결과를 토대로 기본정서를 특정적으로 구분할 수 있는 심리생리적 복합 지표 모델을 구성하였다. 네 기본정서 (공포, 혐오, 슬픔, 분노)는 뇌파와 자율신경계 반응패턴에 의한 구분이 가능하였으나, 행복과 놀람은 본 연구에서 사용한 심리생리지표에 의한 최종 구분이 불가능하였다. 여섯 기본정서를 모두 구분할 수 있는 적절한 지표를 찾아내는 후속연구가 필요하다.

Effect of Head Posture and Breathing Pattern on Muscle Activities of Sternocleidomastoid and Scalene during Inspiratory Respiration (흡기 호흡 시 머리자세와 호흡패턴이 목빗근과 목갈비근의 근활성도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of head posture and respiratory pattern on muscle activities of sternocleidomastoid (SCM) and scalene during maximal respiration. The seventeen subjects with upper-costal breathing pattern were participated in this study. Surface electromyography was used to measure the muscles activities of SCM and scalene. The volume and velocity of inspiration were monitored by using the spirometer in each subject. Each subject was performed the 3-cycle of respiration in each condition. The mean values of three peak muscle activity in each muscle were used in the data analysis. A2 (head posture: forward head posture: FHP vs. neutral posture) X 2 (breathing pattern: costal vs. diaphragmatic) repeated-measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the normalized muscle activities of the SCM and scalene. The results showed that the muscle activities of SCM and scalene in diaphragmatic breathing were significantly lower than those in costal breathing for each head posture (p<.0125). The muscle activities of SCM in neutral position were lower than those in forward head position during costal breathing (p<.0125). The diaphragmatic breathing in neutral position of head is recommended to decrease the tension of the accessory inspiratory muscles during respiration in neck-pain patients with FHP.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was carried out to review for the importance of breathing pattern training for the spinal stabilization. Methods : This is a literature study with books and thesis. Results : Breathing with normal respiratory mechanics has a potent role in neuro-musculo-skeletal system. The evaluation of respiratory mechanics should be a routine part of every physical examination. And respiratory mechanics must be intact for both normal posture and spinal stabilization to be possible. Conclusion : The spinal stabilization exercise with the breathing pattern training is more efficient therapeutic exercise program for the patient with neuro-musculo-skeletal system disorder.

  • Purpose : This study has already started commercial Gated RapidArc automation equipment which was not previously in the Gated radiation therapy can be performed simultaneously with the VMAT Gated RapidArc radiation therapy to the accuracy of the analysis to evaluate the usability, Amplitude mode applied to the patient. Materials and Methods : The analysis of the distribution of radiation dose equivalent quality solid water phantom and GafChromic film was used Film QA film analysis program using the Gamma factor (3%, 3 mm). Three-dimensional dose distribution in order to check the accuracy of Matrixx dosimetry equipment and Compass was used for dose analysis program. Periodic breathing synchronized with solid phantom signals Phantom 4D Phantom and Varian RPM was created by breathing synchronized system, free breathing and breath holding at each of the dose distribution was analyzed. In order to apply to four patients from February 2013 to August 2013 with liver cancer targets enough to get a picture of 4DCT respiratory cycle and then patients are pratice to meet patient's breathing cycle phase mode using the patient eye goggles to see the pattern of the respiratory cycle to be able to follow exactly in a while 4DCT images were acquired.   • Dose rate regulated tracking is known to be an efficient method which adaptively delivers tracking treatments when patient breathing is irregular. The Motion Management Interface (MMI, Varian Medical System, CA), which provides beam on/off switching during treatment is available for clinic. Study is to test if delivering the adaptive tumor tracking is feasible for irregular breathing using beam switching with MMI. 55 free breathing RPM traces acquired from lung cancer patients are used. The first day RPM traces of the patients are utilized to design preprogrammed tracking MLC patterns, of which periods are intentionally reduced by 20% in order to catch up the variation of patient breathing irregularity in the treatment day. Eligibility criteria for this technique are the variation of amplitude and period less than 20%. An algorithm which determines beam on/off every 100 ms by considering the preprogrammed (MLC) positions and current breathing positions is developed. Tracking error and delivery efficacy are calculated by simulating the beam-switching adaptive tracking from the RPM traces. Breathing patterns of 38 patients (70%) met the eligibility criteria. Tracking errors of all of the cases who meet the criteria are less than 2 mm (average 1.4 mm) and the average delivery efficacy was 71%. Those of rest of the cases are 1.9 mm and 48%. Adaptive tracking with beam switching is feasible if patient selection is based on the eligibility criteria.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether PNF respiratory convergence exercise increases the pulmonary function of normal adults by $45^{\circ}$ leaning sitting position. Twenty normal adults in their 20s were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n=10) or control group (n=10). Over the course of four weeks, the experimental group participated in PNF respiration exercises by $45^{\circ}$ leaning position for 30 minutes three per week. And the control group participated in PNF respiration exercises by supine position for 30 minutes three times per week. Subjects were assessed pre-test and post-test by measurement of pulmonary function. Our findings show that the experimental group had significant improvements in expiratoy reserve volume and vital capacity, maximal voluntary volume. In this study, the experimental group showed greater improvement in pulmonary function than the control group, which indicates that the PNF respiratory exercise by $45^{\circ}$ leaning sitting position is effective at increasing the pulmonary function of normal adults.

  • 최근에는 의료 빅데이터 분야에서 의료기기, 의료전문가로부터 생성 또는 감지되는 사운드 생체신호(심장박동, 호흡, 맥박, 진맥) 데이터의 특징을 디지털 데이터로 추출하여 패턴 데이터로 변환한 후, 이를 빅데이터 분석 플랫폼 기반으로 분석하여 진료, 처방, 예방 등에 유용한 정보를 생성하는 모델 구축 연구가 활성화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사운드 생체신호 특징을 디지털 데이터로 추출하여 (주)리아컴즈 NeoQubit 빅데이터 플렛폼을 기반으로 패턴 데이터를 분석하고 예측할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다.

  • This study presents the quantitative exposure assessment of indoor radon released from groundwater. Most of the Indoor radon comes directly from soil beneath the basement or foundation. Recently, radon in groundwater releases to indoor air whenever the water is used and contributes to the total inhalation risk from indoor air. This study first develops a mathematical model to describe the transfer and distribution of radon released from groundwater in a house. Then, daily human exposures through inhalation or such radon are estimated with the model for an male adult based on two sets of exposure scenarios. The results obtained from the study would help increase the understanding of risk assessment issues associated with the indoor radon released from groundwater.
