  • As the number of successful business design innovation product cases increases, interest in design innovation is increasing. This study aims to examine how the design innovation (functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics) of Bluetooth speaker products affects the customer's preference and purchase intention. It proposes a research model through rational behavior theory (TRA) and technology acceptance model (TAM) for empirical research. The questionnaire is composed of questions to understand the influence of design innovation, favorability, and purchase intention. This is a study to increase the possibility of success of design innovation products by examining how design innovation through research results affects customer preference and purchase intention.

This study aims to examine how the design innovation (functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics) of Bluetooth speaker products affects the customer's preference and purchase intention. It proposes a research model through rational behavior theory (TRA) and technology acceptance model (TAM) for empirical research. The questionnaire was composed of questions to understand the influence of design innovation, favorability, and purchase intention. As a result of the study, functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetics influenced product preference and purchase intention. In order for the innovative product of Bluetooth speaker design to be accepted in the early market, it is most important to form a positive attitude toward favorability centering on function and aesthetics. Favorability is a factor that has the most decisive influence on the purchase intention of design innovation products, and companies must discover and reinforce various factors that positively affect the preference.

Generation and Gender Differences in Physical Attractiveness and Likability Perception (세대와 성별에 따른 신체적 매력과 호감 지각의 집단 차이에 대한 검증)

  • The present study examined the relations between physical attractiveness and likability and we also investigated whether these variable's effects differ depending on generation (young and middle-aged) × evaluator gender (male and female) × target gender (male and female). Second, when assessing these variables, we figured out whether evaluators more preferred 'the same-sex preference' than 'the opposite-sex preference'. To that end, 120 college students participated in the 3D program to sample their ideal looks and bodies. Then, another 240 people (60 young men and women each, 60 middle-aged men and women each) evaluated the physical attractiveness, likeability, relationship preference, and personality of the sample. The result is that physical attractiveness is a positively related to likability. There were evaluator gender and target gender differences in the judgment of physical attractiveness, but there were generation and target gender differences in the judgment of likability. Lastly, the effect based on target-maker gender was different for evaluator gender in each factor evaluation. These results were discussed from the evolutionary and sociocultural perspectives on physical attractiveness.

  • 다양한 게임의 분야 중 온라인게임의 가장 큰 특징은 게임 속 캐릭터가 게이머 지시에 따라 역할을 수행하며 이를 통해 캐릭터가 성장하는 상호작용성을 갖는 것이다 온라인 게임에서의 캐릭터는 게이머 자신을 표현하는 대상이 되며 동시에, 현실의 자아와 게임의 세계관이 결합해서 나오는 하나의 인격체이기도 하다. 캐릭터 선정은 게이머가 게임을 시작하기 위해 진행하는 최초의 행위이기 때문에 게이머들은 각자 판단하는 기준을 사용하여 캐릭터를 선정하게 된다. 따라서 게이머의 캐릭터 선정 기준을 파악하는 것은 게임 캐릭터를 기획/디자인하는 과정에서 필수적인 사항이라고 말할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 게임캐릭터를 선정하는 과정에서 게이머의 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해, WoW 여성 캐릭터의 성격과 호감도를 중심으로 가설을 설정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 캐릭터의 선정 과정과 호감도의 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 피설문자의 캐릭터 선정 순위와 피설문자가 평가한 각각의 캐릭터의 호감도와 성격의 5요인을 분석하여 캐릭터의 선정 결과와 호강도의 관계를 도출하였다. 이를 통해 가설을 검증하고 게임 캐릭터의 기획 및 디자인 과정에서의 캐릭터 구성 방향을 제안한다.

  • Calligraphy has become popular in recent years. Designers use calligraphy to draw consumer visual attention and liking by delivering friendly and gentle images. This paper analyzes the effects of calligraphy on consumer response to advertisement design. Regression analyses show calligraphy has a positive effect on consumer visual attention and liking, particularly in sensible product/service. In low involvement product/service, however, calligraphy has a negative effect. These results imply that designers should be careful when they use calligraphy.

  • National preference enables a nation to achieve more advantageous position regarding international relations. Considering this benefit, the purpose of this study is to explore determinants of national preference between Korean and Japanese college students. To pursue this aim, two versions (translated to Korean and Japanese) of survey were conducted in Korea and Japan in 2015. A total of 370 (206 of Koreans and 164 of Japanese) college students were participated in the survey. Specifically, participants were asked to respond perceptions toward multiculturalism, international experiences, and consumption of media contents. Further, participants were asked to describe their knowledge and perception toward cultural contents of partnered country via open-ended questions. The results implies that Japanese music and books are significant determinants among Korean students in developing national preference toward Japan whereas Koran drama is more an effective factor among Japanese students to build national preference toward Korea. Based on the result, theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

  • 감성은 개인적인 생활경험을 통해 표현되며 동일한 감정상태와 정보자극을 주더라도 다른 감성이 발생될 뿐만 아니라 개인, 사회, 문화 요인에 따라서 크게 변한다. 따라서 다른 영역의 감성과 도서에 대한 감성이 같지 않기 때문에 별도의 감성 사전 구축이 필요하다. 구축된 감성사전은 비슷한 성향의 도서와 사람을 묶어 추천해 주는데 활용할 수 있다. 감성 사전 구축을 위한 원천 정보로 네티즌이 책을 읽고 호감도와 함께 짧은 문장으로 쓴 소감을 활용하였다. 감성분석에서 가장 기본이 되는 분류는 긍정과 부정으로 나누는 것이다. 하지만, 실제로 도서를 추천하기위해서 긍정과 부정으로만 구분하는 것은 충분하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도서에 대해서 감성을 긍정과 부정의 호감정도와 감성의 활성도를 조합한 8개의 감성으로 분류하고 각각의 지수를 함께 산출하여 감성어 사전을 구축하고 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 목소리는 사람의 정서, 인격, 성격 및 기타 많은 개인적인 요소를 나타내고 있다. 즉, 사람의 목소리를 통해 자신이 보유하고 있는 모든 내면적, 외면적 정보를 알 수 있는 중요한 부분이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 매력적이면서 좋은 목소리가 보유하고 있는 음성 분석학적 특징 요소를 추출하여 호감도 좋은 목소리와의 상관성을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 청각적으로 다른 특징을 보유하고 있는 5가지 타입의 남성 및 여성의 목소리를 수집하고 임의의 대상자들을 통해 호감도 좋은 목소리를 선정하였다. 또한 피치, 강도 및 스펙트로그램 분석 요소를 적용하여 호감도 좋은 목소리가 보유하고 있는 음성 정보값을 추출하고 상호간의 연관성을 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of expected perspective on the role of genre and attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad on the liking of broadcast ad genre as appeal types of creativity. The results show that there is a significant correlation between macro-environmental expected perspective(MEEP) on the role of genre and a negative attitude toward utilizing genre in broadcast ad. A significant correlation between micro-practical expected perspective(MPEP) and a positive attitude was also found. Consumers with an integrated-situational expected perspective(ISEP) show a more significant relationship with the dual attitude. Consumes with a MPEP have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with an ISEP show a median liking. Consumers with positive attitude have a stronger liking on comparative ad and sex appeal ad, and consumers with a dual attitude show a median liking that is between the positive attitude-based consumers' and negative attitude-based consumers'.
