As startup companies are recognized as the important source of job creation and economic growth, the study is trying to find out the current situation of startup companies and their success factors in South Korea. The study analyzes the success factor of Woowa Brothers recognized as a unicorn start-up company in 2018 by using ERIS model and Start-up Developmental Stages. The ERIS model emphasizes Entrepreneurs, Resources, Industry Environment and Strategy for company performance and three developmental stages are divided into initiation, commercial and growth stages. The results indicate that the Woowa Brothers' success factor was to catch the appropriate timing in ERIS and to combine unique methods by differentiating itself from existing competitors at each stage. With analyses of success factor of Woowa Brothers as a case model, the study reveals limitations and recommends the direction of future research for producing more unicorn companies in South Korea.

Labeling schemes which don't consider about frequent update in dynamic XML documents need relabeling process to reflect the changed label information whenever the tree of XML document is update. There is disadvantage of considerable expenses in the dynamic XML document which can occurs frequent update. To solve this problem, we suggest prime number labeling scheme that doesn't need relabeling process. However the prime number labeling scheme does not consider that it needs to update the sibling order of nodes in the XML tree of document. This update process needs much costs because the most of the XML tree of document has to be relabeling and recalculation. In this paper, we propose the prime number labeling scheme with sibling order value that can maintain the sibling order without relabeling or recalculation the XML tree of documents.

This research aims to analyze the gender, sibling, and characteristics of figures who created the imaginary friends among 30 picture books published in Korea. At first, as a result of the research, a total of 35 figures of the 30 books had imaginary friends, of which 24 figures were women and 11 were men, with women more than twice as many as men. Secondly, in many cases, the only child in picture books had the imaginary companion, but in case of the figures who have brothers or sisters, The imaginary companion visited them more frequently to different gender rather than to same gender. Looking at the frequency of appearance of imaginary companion, the eldest, younger brother, and no appearance appeared in order. Third, as a result of examining the personality of figures who created the imaginary companion, their extroversion or introversion has no meaningful correlation each other. These results are meaningful as reference data for understanding children with imaginary friends in reality as picture books reflect the reality of children with imaginary friends and show various situations of infant with imaginary friends in a balanced manner.

본 연구는 기존에 잘 알려지고 널리 사용되고 있는 어휘 의미망이나 시소러스를 활용하기 어려운 과학 기술 분야, 특히 IT 분야에서 대용량 용어간 관계를 빠른 시간 내에 구축하여 검색 브라우징, 내비게이션 용도로 활용하는 것을 목표로 한다. 시소러스 구축 절차를 따르는 경우에 분야 전문가에 의한 정교한 작업과 고비용을 필요로 하여 충분한 구축 크기를 확보하는 것에 현실적인 어려움이 있다. 시소러스 자동 구축 방법론을 사용하는 경우에도 해당 용어들이 출현하는 방대한 말뭉치를 확보해야 하며 관계 구축 결과에 대한 직관적 이해가 쉽지 않다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구는 해외 학술 논문 말뭉치와 메타데이터에서 획득한 37만 여 주제어들을 이용하여 상 하위 관계, 관련어, 형제 관계를 추출하기 위해 조어적 기준에 근거한 규칙들을 이용한다. 이들 규칙을 이용하여 추출한 관계 수는 상 하위 관계 60여 만 개, 관련어 640여 만 개, 형제 관계 2,000여 만 개 등이다. 또한, 추출 결과 중 일부를 수작업으로 분석하여 단순한 추출 규칙에서 발생하는 오류 유형을 찾아내고 향후 과제에서 해결할 수 있는 방안에 대해 논하자고 한다.

In this paper, we suggest the criticality of Hidden Failure with regard to the design of watch dog timer, used to detect HALT on railway signaling embedded controller, via FMEA and FTA. Hidden Failure means reliability and safety degradation of the system due to any failure occurred on elements added for fault tolerance. In this paper, therefore, we design vital watch dog timer to prevent the system from operating in low SIL conditions and assess the safety of circuit on failure occurrence to demonstrate that safety degradation problems owing to existing design are supplemented.

최근 글로벌 경쟁이 치열해 지면서 가격경쟁력이 뒷받침되지 않으면 신흥 시장에 대한 대응이 어려워져 가격경쟁력의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, 구조적인 비용 상승 추세로 기업의 원가 압력이 증대되고 있고, 이러한 변화된 경쟁 환경에서 생존하기 위해서는 전체적인 생산성 향상이 필수이다. 가격경쟁력 강화 및 원가압박을 해소하고 품질, 가격, 납기 전반에 모방할 수 없는 차별화된 경쟁력의 확보는 생산성 향상을 통해서 실현할 수 있고, 생산성 향상을 통한 경쟁력 있는 기업 육성은 우리 제조업을 발전시키는 토대(infra structure)이며, 기반 시설의 확충이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 외국의 혁신방법을 우리산업 현실에 대한 고려 없이 단순 도입으로 국내 실정에 맞지 않아 상당한 시행착오를 격고 있으며, 국내에 벤치마킹 할만한 제조혁신 방법론이 거의 없고, 벤치마킹하려고 해도 기업의 영업비밀이라 배우기도 쉽지 않은 상황에서 우리산업 현실에 맞는, 중소 중견기업의 맞춤형 생산성 혁신 지원도구로 중소기업의 자생적인 혁신을 위해 중소기업의 수준에 맞는 제조혁신 방법을 국내외 제조혁신 전문가로 컨소기엄을 구성하여 한국생산성본부에서 개발된 한국형제조혁신 방법론을 제조기업에 적용하여 성공적인 결과를 다른 기업에 적용 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적을 둔다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구를 통해 일본의 TPS(Toyota Production System), 미국의 Lean 시스템 및 6시그마 시스템에 대하여 살펴보았고, 한국형 제조혁신 모델인 KPS(korea production system)를 통신장비 제조회사인 M. 사에 적용하여 실증하였으며, 그 결과 우수한 성과를 보임을 확인할 수 있었다.

The issues on the representation of digital images, the uncanny is not considered aesthetically but must be overcome. It seems that the future of visual media using digital images, depends on the development and advancement of the digital technology. However, the Brothers Quay regarded as unique and experimental animators, focus their attention towards the past rather than the future. They trace back to the origin of the media, reproducing, manipulating, and representing gestures in oder to restore the shock and thrill delivered in film and animation. The Brothers Quay explore the uncanny of gestures through the mechanism of medium. They work in a wide range of genres, from animation, live action to dance film. The creaking spasms, which create the feeling that the movement does not belong to this world, and the strange gestures, reveals the flicker of the still projection and make audiences recognize gestures in the true meaning of the word. While they animate live actors and dead objects like automata, the hidden desires are revealed over screen. In this paper, focusing on the works of Brothers Quay, I tried to explore the uncanny of gesture based on Freud's and Jentsch' theory of uncanny.

Stream ecosystems are highly valued natural resources, however, stream environments are currently under threat in several respects. We evaluated vegetation and ecological characteristics according to different revetment types. The distribution of vegetation differed with revetment type, with a 42~45 taxa found in natural revetments, and 23~38 taxa in vertical revetments. Thus, natural revetments host more diverse vegetation than vertical revetments. We also found more plants belonging to the families Labiatae and Cyperaceae growing in natural revetments than in vertical revetments. We proposed that habitat space be apportioned to introduce annual plants as part of stream restoration projects. And, we identified 7 families and 18 taxa of naturalized plants, majority taxa were either biennial or perennial. Moreover, naturalized ratio was higher in vertical(14.3%) than natural(12.1%), we proposed a plan to promote and improve natural streams and revetments. Furthermore, we applied a waterfront evaluation method developed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service of the USDA-NRCS, which confirmed that stream health can be improved in most regions by controlling naturalized plants and ensuring shrub and tree growth. We adopted a new method to remove naturalized plants and establish natural revetments to ensure shrub and tree growth to aid in small-stream restoration and improvement. In future studies, we hope to develop methods for small-stream restoration projects in rural areas.

The Hyeongjeseom (Islet) is an erosional remnant of volcano which is located about 2 km northeast of sea shore of the Songaksan tuff ring, and is composed of volcaniclastic deposit, agglomerate and scoria deposit, ponded lava, aa lava flows, reworked deposit and beach deposit in ascending order from the base. The volcano is formed by volcaniclastic deposits and lava flows that recorded a transition from initial phreatomagmatic to magmatic explosions followed by lava effusion. It is interpreted that the outcropped volcaniclastic deposit may be a remaining portion of outer ring of a tuff cone. A bomb and a ponded lava yield geochemically basaltic trachyandesite compositions (SiO2 51.3 wt%, Na2O+K2O 6.0 wt%) and belong to olivine basalt with scarce (<5 %) phenocrysts of olivine, petrographically. By incremental heating Ar-Ar dating method, the plateau age of lava flow in the Heongjesom is 9.2±3.6(2σ) ka, implying that the volcanism of Heongjeseom may have occurred earlier than the Songaksan tuff ring which erupted ca. 3.7 ka. It still remains a task to find a volcano which matches with a historical record of volcanic activity that occurred a thousand years ago.
