Automatic Extraction of Collocations based on Corpus using mutual information (말뭉치에 기반한 상호정보를 이용한 연어의 자동 추출)

  • This paper describes the automatic extraction of collocations based on corpus. The collocations are extracted from corpus using cooccurrence frequency and mutual information between words. In English, 5 types of collocations are defined. These collocations are transitive verb and object, intransitive verb and subject, adjective and noun, verb and adverb, and adverb and adjective. In this paper another type of collocation is recognized and extracted, which consists of verb and preposition. So 6 types of collocations are extracted based on corpus.

  • We developed the decision support system by using the fuzzy theory. This system designs harmonious color space according to the linguistic input. This input represents the atmosphere which the user want. If the linguistic input of adjective image scale is given in the developed system, the relation between the adjective and color is supposed as fuzzy relation. The color which match with the whole atmosphere of color space is selected. The search region of harmonious color decision is controlled by the knowledge on color harmony of Moon-Spencer. Harmonious color is selected by it.

Image Analysis of Korean Automobiles Using Sensory Engineering (감성공학을 이용한 국산 승용차 이미지 분석)

  • This paper is concerned with analyzing the images of Korean automobiles using, so called, sensory engineering, which adapts the sensory and subjective assessment of human beings in evaluating the quality of product. The methodology of analysis is suggested in this paper according to the following steps. First, 14 pairs of adjectives, which describe the image of object cars in view of the semantic differential method, are derived from consulting with several expert panels. Nextly, factor analysis is performed in order to obtain the axises, by which the images space of the object automobiles are specified, and then the images of the object automobiles are measured by the coordinate of all the object automobiles in the image space. In this paper, a sensory estimation experiment is performed to a panel consisting with In undergraduate students residing in the region of Daegu. From the result of analysis of this paper, target images, which the automobile manufacturers are intended, are achieved by and large except one company.

  • Although various methods have been proposed and utilized for video reality improvement, use of olfaction still remains at a rudimentary stage. Previous research reported reality improvement effect of some scents when a video displayed specific objects whose odors matched to the scents provided. In addition, another study showed that provision of scents that correspond to the prevailing color of a video improves sense of immersion. However, the above studies have clear limitations because not all videos have specific odor or obvious color. Assuming, in this study, that sensibility-based scent provision in the absence of main odor or color will increase sense of reality, the present study aimed at building adjective profiles of various scents that convey different sensibilities. To this end, in Experiments 1 and 2, we collected a set of adjectives appropriate for description of scents, and in Experiment 3, we built profiles of 16 scents using 30 adjectives. In addition, we grouped scents of similar sensibilities using cluster analysis. These results could be used not only for video reality improvement but also for the purposes of emphasizing product concepts or store positioning, etc.

  • Im $gegew\"{a}rtigen$ Deutschen gibt es zwei verschiedene Auffassungen $\"{u}ber$ das adjektivische Wortbildungsmorphem -Ios. $W\"{a}hrend$ -Ios einerseits als Halbsuffix betrachtet wird, will man es andererseits als Suffix betrachten. Die $Gr\"{u}nde$, die -Ios als Halbsuffix gelten lassen, sind die folgenden : 1. Es besteht eine semantische Verwandtschaft zwischen -Ios und dem freien Morphem Ios. 2. Anders als Suffix hat es ein $zus\"{a}tzliches$ semantisches Merkmal. 3. Die Bildungen mit -Ios haben die Fugenelemente. 4. Es konkurriert mit adjektivischen Halbsuffixen. Die $Gr\"{u}nde$, die -Ios als Suffix gelten lassen, sind die folgenden: 1. Im Unterschied zu -frei und -leer dient es zur wertungsneutralen Feststellung des Sachverhalts 'Nichtvorhandensein'. 2. Es besitzt eine einheitliche semantische Funktion. (BS+ -Ios = ohne BS) 3. Es $geh\"{o}rt$ zur Lautstruktur 'KVK'. Diese entspricht der Lautstruktur der adjektiven Suffixe -bar, -lich. -sam usw. Diese verschiedenen Merkmale von -Ios lassen das Morphem noch nicht als Suffix gelten.

화상통신 품질의 감성공학적 평가

  • 본 연구는 화상통신 시스템의 통신품질을 평가하는 데있어 감성공학적 평가방법을 체계화하고, 감성 simulator를 구축함을 그 목적으로 한다. 사회가 다원화되고 확대됨에 따라 멀티미디어 통신 시스템 의 설계 시 고려되어야 할 과제는 사용자에게 제공해야 하는 통화품질을 명확히 하고, 이것을 실현하 기 위해각종 통신설비의 품질을 구현하는 것이다. 본 연구는 멀티미디어 통신의 총아라고 할 수 있는 화상통신 시스템에 감성공학적 기법을 적용하여, 사용자가 만족할 수 있는 통신서비스 품질 설정을 위 한 체계적 방법론 및 표준 자료를 제공하기 위한 기초 연구이다. 설문지와 사전 등을 통하여 화상 통 신을 사용할 때 사용자가 느끼는 감성을 형용사의 형태로 정리하였다. 또, 유사한 화상통신 시스템의 사용 경험이 있는 사람들로부터 불만 사항을 조사하고, 연구진에 의하여 추출된 형용사에 대한 가중치 를 부여 하도록 한다. 이렇게 얻어진 불만 및 감성 항목은 화상통신 시스템의 설계요인으로 분해되어, 추후 수행될 감성실험의 실험 조건으로 결정되었다. 현재 감성실험을 수행할 수 있는 감성 simulator가 구현되었으며 추후 실험이 수행될 계획이다. 그 실험 결과는 감성과 설계요인들과의 관계를 밝히며, 고객이 느끼는 주관적 화상통신 품질을 평가하는데필요한 지침이 마련된다.
