Incentive Design Considerations for Free-riding Prevention in Cooperative Distributed Systems (협조적 분산시스템 환경에서 무임승차 방지를 위한 인센티브 디자인 고려사항 도출에 관한 연구)

  • Different from the traditional client-server model, it is possible for participants in a cooperative distributed system to get quality services regardless of the number of participants in the system since they voluntarily pool or share their resources in order to achieve their common goal. However, some selfish participants try to avoid providing their resources while still enjoying the benefits offered by the system, which is termed free-riding. The results of free-riding in cooperative distributed systems lead to system collapse because the system capacity (per participant) decreases as the number of free-riders increases, widely known as the tragedy of commons. As a consequence, designing an efficient incentive mechanism to prevent free-riding is mandatory for a successful cooperative distributed system. Because of the importance of incentive mechanisms in cooperative distributed system, a myriad of incentives mechanisms have been proposed without a standard for performance evaluation. This paper draws general incentive design considerations which can be used as performance metrics through an extensive survey on this literature, providing future researchers with guidelines for the effective incentive design in cooperative distributed systems.

  • 정부의 녹생성장 정책에 의해서 신재생에너지들의 보급률이 지속적으로 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 배전계통에 태양광/풍력발전 등 분산전원의 설치가 급증함에 따라 기존 배전계통의 조류흐름이 단방향(One direction)에서 양방향(Bi-direction)으로 변화 되어 배전계통의 운용상에 여러 가지 문제점들이 발생할 가능성이 커지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 분산전원의 배전계통 연계에 따른 보호기기의 정정 및 보호협조검토가 가능한 보호협조 평가알고리즘을 개발하고, 그 알고리즘을 바탕으로 보호협조 평가시스템을 제작하였다. 이 평가시스템에 분산전원 연계 시, 배전계통의 보호기기들 사이의 보호협조를 검토하여 제안한 알고리즘의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 분산전원과 에너지저장으로 구성된 독립형 DC 마이크로그리드의 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위한 협조적 Droop 제어기법을 제안하고 그 성능과 동작을 분석한 내용에 대해 기술하고 있다. 제안하는 시스템의 동작 타당성을 체계적으로 분석하기 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC 소프트웨어를 이용한 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하였으며 이를 기반으로 하드웨어 시스템을 제작하여 제안하는 시스템의 동작특성을 분석하였다.

  • 태양광, 풍력 등의 신재생에너지전원이 배전계통에 연계되는 경우가 증가함에 따라 사고 발생 시 계통을 안정적으로 보호하기 위한 보호협조 시스템의 개발이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 보호협조 및 선로의 안정화에 크게 기여할 수 있는 양방향 보호협조 평가시스템을 제작하여, 분산전원이 연계된 다양한 모의계통을 시뮬레이션하여 제안한 알고리즘의 정확성을 분석하고 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, with the world-wide issues about global warming and CO2 reduction, a number of distributed generations(DGs) such as photovoltaic(PV) and wind power(WP), are interconnected with the distribution systems. However, DGs can change the direction of the power flow from one-direction to bi-direction, and also change the direction and amount of fault current of existing distribution systems. Therefore, it may cause the critical problems on the power quality and protection coordination. This paper proposes an operation algorithm for bi-directional protection coordination using and apply it for the evaluation system for protection coordination. From the simulation results It is found that the proposed method is more effective and convenient than existing method.

  • Recently, with the increasement of the interest about global warming, pollutions, and so on, a number of distributed generations(DGs) such as photovoltaic(PV) and wind power(WP), are interconnected with distribution systems. However, installing of DGs makes power flow changes such as directions, one-direction to bi-direction, and increasing/decreasing of fault current. Therefore, it may cause the critical problems. This paper proposes an evaluation algorithm for bi-directional protection coordination and presents an evaluation system for protection coordination based on this algorithm. Additionally, the result shows that the existing method may cause critical problems, and also the effectiveness of proposed method is verified.

  • 분산전원의 연계가 활발해지면서 발생하게 되는 여러 가지 문제점을 해결하고 배전계통의 최적운용을 위해 다양한 기술계산이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 기술계산의 방법인 수 계산법의 복잡함과 한계를 극복하기 위하여, 빠르고 정확한 기술계산 및 검토기능을 수행할 수 있는 보호협조 평가시스템의 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 보호협조 및 선로의 안정화에 크게 기여할 수 있는 양방향 보호협조 평가시스템을 이용하여, 모델계통에 대한 다양한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제안한 알고리즘의 정확성을 분석하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • In typical cellular systems using frequency reuse scheme, the terminal suffers a performance degradation due to the intercell interference signals from adjacent cells as the terminal moves toward the cell boundary. In this paper, a signal transmission and reception scheme which achieve spatial multiplexing and beamforming gain from a distributed MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) channel using multiple-antenna terminal is proposed for the spectral efficiency enhancement in a multi-cell downlink environment, when geographically separated base stations cooperatively transmit signals. In particular, we analyze the effective signal-to-interference ratio and spectral efficiency of the proposed scheme for different frequency reuse patterns and for varying numbers of receive antennas, and compare with the performance of the MRC (maximal ratio combining) reception scheme in typical cellular systems. We evaluate the amount of transmission efficiency of the scheme by comparing the performance near the cell boundary where the strong intercell interference is experienced.

  • Multi-distributed web cluster model expanding conventional cluster system is the cluster system which processes large-scaled work demanded from users with parallel computing method by building a number of system nodes on open network into a single imaginary network. Multi-distributed web cluster model on the structured characteristics exposes internal system nodes by an illegal third party and has a potential that normal job performance is impossible by the intentional prevention and attack in cooperative work among system nodes. This paper presents the mutual authentication protocol of system nodes through key division method for the authentication of system nodes concerned in the registration, requirement and cooperation of service code block of system nodes and collecting the results and then designs SNKDC which controls and divides symmetrical keys of the whole system nodes safely and effectively. SNKDC divides symmetrical keys required for performing the work of system nodes and the system nodes transmit encoded packet based on the key provided. Encryption packet given and taken between system nodes is decoded by a third party or can prevent the outflow of information through false message.

  • This paper proposes a conceptual model for distributed problem solving(DPS), where cooperation and communication among agents are based on virtual shared memory (VSM) In this model, all agents in a DPS system view all the memory in a distributed computer system as a single shared memory in which data, tasks, and results can in a distributed computer system as a single shared memory, in which data, tasks, and results can / be accessed by any of the agents. Several agents cooperatively solve a complex problem, as agents write data, intermediate results of execution, and tasks requested to other agents to VSM and other agents read or execute them. Also, in order to develop DPS systems based on the proposed conceptual model, this paper designs a DPS system development environment(DPS-VSM)using Network Linda. Thi spaper shows utility ofthe proposed model by presenting an example of simulation a VSM-based DPS system, and analyzes the model by comparing the features of DPS- VSM with some other DAI programming shells.
