The phenomenology of communication represents a starting point in the union of consciousness and experience, analogue and digit, expression and perception, person and lived-world, rhetoric and ethic, constitute human communication. A phenomenological definition of communication requires that analysis proceed through a phenomenological description, reduction, interpretation. This analysis thus far has taken up the general issue of fact versus value, consisting in a subdivision into intention and punctuation on the factual side, and convention and legitimation on the value side. It has treated of the relationships among intention and metaphysics, punctuation and epistemology, convention and logic, and legitimation and axiology.

Since last several decades, iconic memory has been accepted theoretically valid for its role of the first storage mechanism in visual memory process. However, there have been relatively less interests in iconic memory among researchers than their interests in visual short- and long-term memory. Such little interests seem to arise from a lack of detailed understandings of theories and methodologies about iconic memory and visual persistence. This study aimed to achieve the understandings by reviewing theories and empirical studies of iconic memory and visual persistence. The study further discussed future direction of iconic memory research according to the essential aspects of phenomenological and ecological criticisms against the validity of iconic memory.

연삭가공은 숫돌을 구성하는 하나 하나의 입자가 공작물을 절삭하는 과정이므로 연삭현상을 이해하기 위해서는 먼저 개개 절돈의 절삭현상을 알지 않으면 안된다. 연삭입자의 절삭현상을 해명함에 있어서 기초가 되는 것은 입자와 공작물과의 간섭형상이다. 종래의 연삭 이론은 이와같은 기하학적 간섭형상이 모두 chip이 되어 제거된다(연소입자와 공작물과의 간섭 과정에서는 절삭현상만이 존재한다.)는 가정하에 연삭기구를 해석하려 하였으나 최근에 이르러 상호간섭 조건을 경계조건으로 하여 많은 사람들에 의해 연소입자의 절삭현상을 연구한 결과 연삭입자의 절삭과정은 과도적 절삭임이 밝혀졌다. 이와같은 연삭현상은 새로운 연삭이론에 기초가 될 뿐만아니라 Chip 과 표면생성기구의 관점에서도 극히 중요한 것이 된다.

An example application of the fuzzy set theory is first made to a simple portion of a given accident progression event tree with typical qualitative fuzzy input data, and thereby computational algorithms suitable for application of the fuzzy set theory to the accident progression event tree analysis are identified and illustrated with example applications. Then the procedure used in the simple example is extended to extremely complex accident progression event trees with a number of phenomenological uncertainty issues, i.e., a typical plant damage state‘SEC’of the Zion Nuclear Power Plant risk assessment. The results show that the fuzzy averages of the fuzzy outcomes are very close to the mean values obtained by current methods. The main purpose of this paper is to provide a formal procedure for application of the fuzzy set theory to accident progression event trees with imprecise and qualitative branch probabilities and/or with a number of phenomenological uncertainty issues.

지난 30년 동안 출산율은 대부분의 국가에서 감소했다. 그리고 전 세계 인구의 절반 이상은 대체수준 이하의 출산력 수준에 이르고 있다. 합계출산율이 1.5 혹은 그 이하의 출산력 수준을 보이는 국가의 수도 계속 증가하고 있다. 저출산의 확산과 함께 합계출산율 1.3 이하를 의미하는 초저출산 현상도 크게 주목받고 있다. 앞으로 저출산이 멈출 것인지, 출산율이 회복될 것인지 혹은 지속적으로 감소할 것인지에 대해서는 아무도 쉽게 답할 수 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최근 산업국가들이 보여주고 있는 저출산 기조는 상당 기간 지속될 것으로 보는 견해가 일반적이다. 이 글은 저출산 및 초저출산 현상을 어떻게 설명할 것인가에 대한 이론적 논의를 검토하고, 이러한 논의가 한국 사회의 인구학적 변화에 어떤 함의를 지니고 있는가를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 저출산을 설명하는데 유용한 이론적 틀을 검토하고자 한다. 이들은 제2차 인구변천이론, 합리적 선택이론, 위험이론, 양성평등 이론, 선호이론, 젠더와 시장이론 등을 포함한다. 이를 기반으로 본 연구는 한국사회의 저출산 현상을 설명하는 연구들의 특성과 시사점 등을 검토하고자 한다.

The Daseinsanalytic understanding of somatization as a phenomenon begins with a question about the real nature of human body. The human body is primarily not an object of scientific study, which is based on the dichotomy of mind and body, but it is an existential body(Leiblichkeit) disclosing the meaning of Beingness of human being. Since the meaning always discloses itself in man's relations with his world, his body in existential nature expresses his relations with the world. Such a somatic expression of world relations is the phenomenon of somatization whose meanings are illuminated by phenomenological method, which is unlike the method adopted by natural science investigating the cause and effect.

The paper examines the recent criticism from various viewpoints on landscape research in 'New cultural geography' focusing on the representation and duplicity of landscape as one of the key theoretical basis of the landscape school. The paper argues that landscape theories in new cultural geography should be considered as what is constantly changing over time and composed of various theoretical and genealogical elements rather than internally homogeneous, fixed, and closed system of knowledge. Through the recent 'phenomenological turn' of geography, landscape researchers explores a possibility of alternative approach to the existing theories and methods, which is so called NRT(Non-representational theory). The research objectives of the paper is to examine the theoretical and practical implications of such significant criticisms, which put emphasis on the idea of landscape as performance and practice rather than landscape as representation in cultural geography.

퍼지 이론과 계산기하학적 수법에 의한 자동요소 생성법, 해석코드 및 상용 솔리드 모델러를 유기적으로 통합한 자동화된 설계시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 여러 가지 복합현상과 관련된 실제 구조물에 대한 설계기능을 갖고 있다. 정전장 해석, 변형해석 및 모드해석 등과 같은 해석하고자 하는 물리적인 현상에 의존한 형상모델이 자동적으로 유한요소모델로 변환되어 해석을 수행한다. 또한 신경망의 기능을 도입, 통합시킴으로써 설계해의 영역을 유용하게 제시하여 준다. 개발한 시스템은 정전 마이크로머쉰의 성능 평가에 적용하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

본 논문은 물리학적 현상 중 무아레 현상을 이용해 통신 중에 사용되는 데이터를 암호화하는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 무아레에 대한 기본적인 이론과 기존에 사용되어지는 데이터 암호화 기법에 대해 고찰하고 무아레 현상을 이용한 데이터 암호화를 제안하고 마지막으로 제안한 무아레 현상을 이용한 데이터 암호화 와 기존에 사용되는 암호화 기인을 비교 문제점과 해결 방안을 제안한다.
