싱가폴 방위의 현주소와 향후 계획 (1)

  • 오늘날 싱가폴군은 5만5천여명의 현역군을 보유하고 있고, 이중 3만4천 8백명은 징집병이다. 이와함께 18만3천명의 훈련된 예비병력과 3만명의 국민방위군을 소집할수 있다. 싱가폴은 스스로의 군사력이 안전보장을 확고히 하는데 충분하지 않으므로, "총력방위"라는 개념을 개발하였다. 총력방위는 다섯가지 면을 가지고 있다. 즉 심리적, 사회적, 경제적, 민방위 및 군사적 방위이다. 싱가폴은 이러한 총력방위를 통한 억지력과 외교의 결합이 싱가폴 안보를 보장하는 가장 좋은 비결이라고 믿고 있다

  • 저자등은 1996년 5월 부터 1999년 4월까지 인하대병원 치과에 악관절 질환을 주소로 내원한 958명의 환자 중 병력, 임상소견, 방사선학적 검사 결과 퇴행성 악관절 질환으로 진단된 68명에서 병록지 상에 기록된 환자의 성별, 나이, 주소, 병력, 현증상, 방사선학적 소견 및 치료방법 등에 관해 검사 후 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 남녀 발병 비율은 1:2로 여성에서 높았다. 2. 발병나이는 20대, 30대. 40대, 10대 순이었다. 3. 병력기간은 2년이상, 6개월이하, 1 - 2년 순이었다. 4. 전 환자에서 악관절 동통을, 44명의 환자에서 관절잡음을, 26명의 환자에서 개구제한을 호소하였다. 5. 그밖에 26명의 환자에서 관절부위에 민감성을, 5명의 환자에서 안면 비대칭을, 또한 개교합, 섬유성 악관절강직의 소견이 각각 2명의 환자에서, 양측성질환의 소견이 4명의 환자에서 관찰되었다. 6. 방사선학적 소견상, 15명 환자의 과두부에서 증식성 재성형소견(progressive remodeling)이, 51명의 환자에서 침식성 재성형소견(regressive or erosive remodeling)이 관찰되었으며, 침식성 재성형 환자 중 11명에서 과두주변부 증식성 재성형소견(peripheral remodeling or marginal lipping)이 관찰되었다. 7. 골증식체(osteophyte) 및 소성체(loose body)의 소견이 각각 2명의 환자에서 관찰되었다. 8. 약물에 의한 보존적 치료방법이 1차로 모든 환자에서 시행되었으며, 이중 12명의 환자는 교합안정장치를 병행하여 치료하였다. 9. 관절강내 스테로이드 주사요법에 의한 치료환자가 2명, 관절원판절제술 및 이개연골 이식술을 동반한 악관절성형술 환자가 각각 1명 및 2명이었다.

A Study on Emergency Medical Information Management Methods for Elderly Patients using QR code and Finger-print Recognition (QR 코드와 지문인식을 이용한 고령 환자의 응급 의료정보 관리 방법에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, as elderly people suffering from chronic diseases have increased and disasters such as traffic accidents have increased, urgent rescue workers and doctors need to respond effectively to such emergencies. For elderly people, the difficulty in communicating their condition especially the health condition during disaster is one of the problems in which delay on immediate handling by rescue team can cause death. Providing a solution for this problem is one of the main issues in our research. In this paper, we use the QR code to communicate the minimum personal information and medical history needed for emergency medical treatment to emergency medical personnel, and to transmit the medical history and treatment data to the doctors of the hospital through QR code and fingerprint recognition, respectively. Especially, by using both QR code of smart phone and fingerprint of individual, we can protects personal information and strengthens privacy and security of medical information by allowing only authorized physicians to check medical records of the old patient.

A case report of scrofula in a child (소아(小兒) 병력에 대한 증례(證例) 1례(例))

  • Objectives : The objective of this study is to assess the clinical effect of Taklisodok-${\breve{u}}m$(托裏消毒飮) and Ultraviolet B(UVB) on scrofula. Methods : This clinical study was carried out with one case(male) who visited the Department of Pediatrics, Dongguk University Bundang Oriental Hospital and it was diagnosed as scrofula. It is treated with herb medication for 78 days and UVB in 36 times. We checked the size and aspect of open wound. Results : The child's open wound improved, and the scrofula disappeared. Conclusion : Taklisodok-${\breve{u}}m$(擺裏消毒飮) and UVB are effective in the treatment of scrofula and improve the function of removing inflammation and regerminating the skin in the body.

  • In the face of the serious security situation with the increasing threat from North Korea, Korean Army is pursuing a reduction in troops through the performance improvement project of the GOP science-based border security system, which utilizes advanced technology. In order for the GOP science-based border security system to be an effective alternative to the decrease in military resources due to the population decline, it must guarantee a high detection and identification rate and minimize troop intervention by dramatically improving the false detection rate. Recently introduced in Korean Army, the GOP science-based border security system is known to ensure a relatively high detection and identification rate in good weather conditions, but its performance in harsh weather conditions such as rain and fog is somewhat lacking. As an alternative to overcoming this, a radar-based border security system that can detect objects even in bad weather has been proposed. This paper proves the effectiveness of the AI-based scientific border security system based on radar that is being currently tested at the 00th Division through the 2021 Rapid Acquisition Program, and suggests the direction of development for the GOP scientific border security system.

History taking in enuretic children (야뇨의 병력청취 연구)

  • Objectives : In evaluating a child with enuresis, an organized approach to the history leads to a working diagnosis and an appropriate treatment plan. but, there's no study about history taking in enuretic children. This article was undertaken to evaluate the enuretic child exactly and to study nocturnal enuresis systematically. Methods : It was conducted a computerized literature search in following database: Medline (via Pubmed), NDSL, EBSCO. Korean articles via oriental pediatric association homepage, KISS. Key words to search were 'nocturnal enuresis', 'bedwetting', 'enuresis', 'incontinence', 'management', 'evaluation', 'assessment', 'questionnaire', 'guideline', 'voiding dysfunction'. Results : Questions are grouped in eight categories: primary history(sex, age, height, weight), family history, enuresis history(primary/secondary, frequency, time of enuresis, nocturia), voiding history(average number, frequency, pattern, volume, posture, daytime enuresis), medical history, constipation/encopresis, sleep(OSA). Conclusion : A careful, complete history taking will help to plan treatment properly and to study.

Stress Fracture of the First Rib (제1늑골의 피로골절)

  • Isolated stress fracture of the first rib is rare, and repeated muscular pulling and fatigue of bone is thought to be responsible for this fracture. The diagnosis can be made by taking a thorough history and performing chest roentgenography, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging. Conservative treatment generally cures this condition. We report here on a case of exercise-induced isolated stress fracture of the first rib in a non-athlete college student and we review the related articles.

  • 본 논문은 부하가 불평형인 경우에 능동필터의 제어를 수행하였다. 불평형 부하는 역상분 전류성분을 발생시키고 이것은 인버터의 직류단에 120Hz 전압리플을 발생시키게 된다. 그리고 인버터가 역상분까지 보상하게 되므로 전력용 반도체의 정격용량이 커져야 하는 문제점을 발생시킨다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 동기좌표계에서 역상분 성분의 분리를 수행하였고, 이 성분을 전원측으로 흐르게 제어를 하였다. 이것의 타당성은 실험을 통해 검증되었다. 실험은 10kVA 정격의 병력형 능동필터로 구현되었다.

  • Generally, the conventional tracking algorithms are very limited in the practical applications because of its exponential increase in the required computation time for the number of targets being tracked. Therefore, in this paper, a new real-time moving target tracking system is proposed, which is based on the neural networks with massive parallel processing capabilities. Through the theoretical and experimental results, the target tracking system based on neural network algorithm is analyzed to be computationally independent of the number of objects being tracked and performs the optimized tracking through its massive parallel computation and learning capabilities. And this system also has massive matched filtering effects because the moving target data can be compactly stored in the interconnection weights by learning. Accordingly, a possibility of the proposed neural network target tracking system can be suggested to the fields of real-time application.

  • A parallel operation of Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS) systems is used to increase power capacity of the system or to secure higher reliability at critical loads. In the conventional parallel operation, the load-sharing control to maintain the current balance is the most important, since the load-sharing is very sensitive to discord between components of each module, amplitude/phase difference, line impedance, output LC filter, and so on. To solve these problems various control algorithms are researching. However, these methods cannot apply to the different ratings of UPS. In the case, master and slave control algorithm for parallel operation is adequate. However, if the UPS ratings are different, the value of passive filters L, C is different, and it affects the sharing of current. This paper presents general problems of conventional parallel operation systems, and control strategy for parallel operation with different ratings. The validity of the proposed control strategy is investigated through simulation and experiment in the parallel operation system with two 3-phase UPS systems.
