An architecture is a result from representation of design knowledge by architect's creative thinking, and operated only in his internal organization system. Design knowledge based upon the experience that they have achieved in the past as well as the informations they have accumulated over the time. In this point of view, the Schema that formed by problems settlement and process repetitions for the best conclusion, not only play an important part in the designer's thinking system about a specific problem but also appeared by distinctive features. This research looks to achieve a new design method by finding out how architects express traditionality in the contemporary house through schema. This research analyze contemporary house built in seoul of 1990's. The result are as followings. First, Schema is a 'frame' that already exist in the architect's thinking, will make a good guide about express the traditionality. Second, We found out several distinctive characters in the form and the space. The form is divided in five types. It is an condensed form of roof image, the metamorphosis of form grammar, the change of part details, the representation of design principle and the directly expression. Lastly, In the space, it is the borrow of the connection method of inside and external space, the three parts composition of the space, the adaptation of 'Madang' and the Independent composition of the space due to 'Chae'

테마파크는 현대 사회와 복잡함 속에서의 현실 탈피와 참여로써 자기 성취를 구현하는 현대적 개념의 종합위락시설로 모든 계층의 사람들이 즐길 수 있는 창조적 유희공원의 일반적 특징을 갖고 있다. 테마파크를 공간, 주제, 유형에 의해 분류해 볼 때 산업적 성공 가능성이 많은 것으로는 공간-실내, 주제-캐릭터, 유형-쇼핑으로 현재 일본의 산리오 퓨로랜드나 국내 일산의 헤이리 딸기파크가 그 사례이다. 본 연구에서는 실내캐릭터쇼핑파크의 사용자 분석을 통하여 온 오프라인 체험 컨텐츠의 가능성을 발견하고, 이를 VR 시뮬레이션 시나리오로 제안하였다. 방법으로는 헤이리 딸기파크에서 5 그룹, 9 개 구역을 필드리서치 하여 체험 시나리오 개발을 위한 의미 있는 단서를 발견하였으며, 이를 토대로 시나리오 기법을 활용하여 7 구역 14 개 시안을 도출하였다. 최종 구체적 사례로 포토포인트 시나리오를 설정하여 오프라인 연계 VR 시나리오를 이용한 구축 사례를 통해 제시하였다. 컨텐츠 개발의 제안을 중심으로 연구 범위를 디자인 사례의 제안으로 제한하였으며, 이는 향후 온 오프라인 연계 테마파크의 구체적 컨텐츠 개발의 활용을 목적으로 디자인되었고, 공간의 실제적 검증을 위한 Web-VR 시뮬레이션 기법의 검토에 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.

The types of China Ancientry Architecture are rich and colorful. Among all these architectures, the Traditional Residence Architecture have the closest relationship with the mass's life. Traditional Residence Architecture reflected the connotation of the culture, philosophy ideology, especially the relationship between dwelling house and the nature, which can't be ignored by our modern people as well as the modern design. Beijing Sahap-won residence architecture is one of the apotheosis of China Traditional Residence Architecture, it'svery suitable for family's habitation. There's brilliance layout in space; around symmetry and radioactivity in plane, discretion grade in line, independence and continuity in inner spatial, with high privacy and benignity, Before the development and explore of modern APT Architecture design, we should fully understand the feature of Ancientry Residence House, inherit and carry forward its culture. The proposed design is started from the consolidation of the traditional feature of Beijing Sahap-won and the modern residence architecture, therefore to satisfy the modern people's fierce pursuing to the traditional culture.

In today's society, Monolithic expresses itself as a single featured work with a consistent exterior in the urban environment. In particular, such characteristics of the monolithic work have become increasingly influential in the modern society with the emergence of the minimalism. Monolithic architecture in modern has common feature which is maintaining simple construction format (Mass) with complicated and abundance space (Volume) inside. This simple architecture exterior leads new stimulus which is different from previous format and evokes unique sensibility and thoughts with monumental expressing. Uniformed exterior revealed thru purity of material builds up strong presence by itself. In contract with simple exterior, diverse space is expressed by consistent concept and process. Through this, it shows creating metaphorical space and space-oriented feature. We can interpret modern monolithic architecture as a sensation and alternative against Gestalt architecture in consequence of chasing clarity, visual stimulus and uncertain tendency only. It provides architectural experience by spatial imaginary and unexpected space development to users through exclusivetendency against outside and stressing un-private, we can evaluate its value as a space-oriented construction which helped us to think about space meaning in modern society.

This study was conducted to determine a 'platform' as a mean of interactions between users in contemporary spatial design and network(web) and to verify the similarity between the platform and space of Rem Koolhaas, one of the leading contemporary architects of our time. A platform, referring to tangible or intangible structures designed for common use in a variety of ways, is activated by the networking effect of participants. Aided by the recent development of the IT industry encompassing computers and smart phones, the concept of platforms is extending to all areas of modern life, in general. In this study, the similarity between architectural space and platforms after reviewing the computer-related platforms, ecological features that refer to virtuous circulation, and various cases applied with platform thinking. Through this process, the platform feature of architectural platforms is defined as the 'open spatial system combined with control and freedom that acts more than one function and facilitates direct/indirect exchanges between users regardless of its type or size'. Establishing the criteria for spatial analysis based on this definition, analysis was conducted on interior design projects that were planned and conducted by Rem Koolhaas after 2000. As a result of this analysis, it was learned that Rem Koolhaas designs space using dual space structures where the extension and mixture of the user group, mixture of various functions defined by users, loose control that induces voluntary participation, community reinforcement, and inducement of accidental events, and opening and closing coexist. In addition, this design approach was found to be a design strategy similar to the concept of platforms that began to be developed in the IT field.

Based on the characteristics of cultural expressions, this paper compares and analyzes the cases of representative commercial architectural spaces of six largest cities in China.In order to promoting the sustainable development of the indoor space culture of modern commercial buildings in China.Six cases were analyzed from the viewpoints of cultural tradition, locality, popularity, technology, and ecology. The results are as follows. First, the tradition of culture requires the emphasis on the traditional elements of specific areas in the interior space of commercial architecture.Second, the regional character of culture is closely related to the social and natural environment factors such as the economic development of the interior space of commercial architecture, historical intrinsic space, geographical environmental conditions, and climate.Fourth, the technicality of culture is to integrate construction method, structure form, and material with local culture into commercial architecture interior space.Fifth, cultural ecology places attention to placing plants in the interior space of commercial architecture and creating a healthy, pleasant and safe environment.

종교 공간으로서의 교회 건축물은 각 지역 단체생활의 정신적, 물질적으로 다양한 활동을 공급하고 있는 장소이다. 그러나 오늘날 변화무쌍한 현대 사회의 도심 교회들은 그 참여수가 점차 줄고 있는 젊은 세대들에게 충분한 만족을 주고 있지 못한 실정이다. 대부분의 영국 도심 교회가 변화가 어려운 예배당 공간 하나로, 각기 다른 기능을 요구하는 이용자들에게 다기능 공간을 공급하고 있으며, 과거에 잠재적 기능을 고려하지 않고 디자인된 대부분의 한국 도심교회들도 비슷한 조건의 문제 발생으로, 현 이용자들에게 또 다른 요구사항들과 불편함을 주고 있다. 이것은 이용자가 공간을 사용함으로 즐거움과 감흥을 얻기가 어렵게 구성되어 있음을 보여주고 있다. 오늘날, 젊은이들의 생활 패턴이 바뀌어 가고 있음으로 그 실태는 더욱 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 먼저 도심교회 공간의 전형적인 문제점과, 연령별 이용자 그룹의 우선권을 조사하고, 각기 다른 조건의 종교적 공간 사례 조사를 통해 이용자들 및 공간 디자인의 요구사항을 분석하고 있다. 이어서, 각 공간에 따른 문제 해결 방법을 성공적 공간디자인 사례자료를 토대로 정리한 후, 어떠한 종교적 공간에서도 적용 가능하도록 통합적으로 설정된 디자인목표를 바탕으로, 세가지 다른 방법의 계획서들을 제시하고 있다. 마지막으로, 이용자들의 응답을 통해 계획서를 평가하여, 그것에 근거한 결론적인 종합적 디자인 계획서를 제안하고 있다. 본 연구는 교회가 필요로 하는 기능에 따라 변화가 가능한 예배공간을 활용할 수 있는 디자인을 제시하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있으며, 기존의 교회건물이 더욱 더 많이 사용자의 요구에 만족할 수 있도록 만들어질 수 있는가에 대한 방향이 제시되고 있다.

The problem of defining the relationship between interior space and exterior envelope of a building has long been a challenging task in the field of architecture throughout its history. This research chronologically reviews some of the important turning points in various schools of thoughts concerning construction of exterior envelope, with focus on how they influenced and altered the formation of our interior environment. This research also stipulates on how technological advance in the late 20th century laid grounds for a new type of interior-exterior relations in architecture through creation of flexible and ambiguous boundary conditions. The focus of this qualitative research will be on contemporary works of Japanese architects Toyo Ito, SANAA, and related group of architects who address the issues of transparency, flexible interior layout, buffer zones, structural facade, and neutralized (homogeneous) space that produces spatial quality of non-linear, non-hierarchical, and de-materialized space as a direct alternative to modern principles of space making.

Nowadays, our societies use digital technology in new architectural shape and space design to transcend three dimension limit so the boundary of the imagination world and actuality world has been collapsed. Traditional spatial value has been collapsed. Also indetermination and temporary assumption in time, fluidness and dematerialized, simultaneity and reiteration in image are relative with this circumstances. In architectural shape, media characteristics which secede from traditional characteristics of place tectonic value have occurred. Therefore, indifference and interests in shape, inter-permeation in interior and exterior space, homogeneous equivalence spatial extension have occurred. The purpose in this study examines dematerialized in contemporary space design and light materials and also investigates general and architectural background. The results of this study are as follows. First, circumstances of human have changed from physically limited boundary to unfixed, nonphysical, lightness and vague things. Second, casting off volume in shape and also dissembling exclusive and constructive Third, interior and exterior space by transparency intimates media possibility of information screen. Fourth, seek information and organic response, ambivalent transformation, accumulation of image and new mutual understanding system.

Skin, the complex membrane that holds the body together, also embraces the full spectrum of design today-from product to architecture, fashion, and media. Every object has a skin. thick or thin, smooth or rough, porous or impermeable, the skin is the line between a hidden interior and an exterior we experience. Skin： Surface, Substance and Design is a compendium of products, furniture, fashion, architecture and media that expand the limits of what we understand as surface.
