Diabetes prediction mechanism using machine learning model based on patient IQR outlier and correlation coefficient (환자 IQR 이상치와 상관계수 기반의 머신러닝 모델을 이용한 당뇨병 예측 메커니즘)

  • With the recent increase in diabetes incidence worldwide, research has been conducted to predict diabetes through various machine learning and deep learning technologies. In this work, we present a model for predicting diabetes using machine learning techniques with German Frankfurt Hospital data. We apply outlier handling using Interquartile Range (IQR) techniques and Pearson correlation and compare model-specific diabetes prediction performance with Decision Tree, Random Forest, Knn (k-nearest neighbor), SVM (support vector machine), Bayesian Network, ensemble techniques XGBoost, Voting, and Stacking. As a result of the study, the XGBoost technique showed the best performance with 97% accuracy on top of the various scenarios. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that the model can be used to accurately predict and prevent diabetes prevalent in modern society.

A Study on works converging Found objects: Focusing on how to mix the media (파운드 오브제(Found object)를 융복합한 작품연구: 매체의 활용방식을 중심으로)

  • Ready-made products produced in the industrialized consumer society after the 20th century have been adopted by artists as a new material called "Found object," and are reinterpreted in a broad sense in their works. The method of giving new meaning using this creates a new paradigm that is expanded conceptually as well as expression style. After Pablo Picasso's in 1912, when the Found object was used for the first time in contemporary art, we examine the development of objects through Dadaism, Surrealism, and Pop Art, and the expression of Found objects in the late 20th century. In this study, the artists and their work are analyzed by dividing it into three types: 'Unprocessed objects', 'Transformed objects', and 'Tenant objects', depending on how the Found object is mixed in works. Through this study, I pay attention to the fact that a work incorporating a Found object not only develops the object materially, but also allows the practice of free concept art to escape from the traditional norms of art.

  • This research is to analyze the public cases of information facilities in terms of central circulations in multi level volumes such as atrium or court which provide visual intervention between different spaces and physical connections such as bridges. Hunt Library design balances the understood pre-existing needs with the University's emerging needs to create a forward-thinking learning environment. While clearly a contemporary structure within a traditional context of the NCSU campus, the Hunt Library provides a positive platform for influencing its surroundings. Both technical and programmatic innovations are celebrated as part of the learning experience and provide a versatile and stimulating environment for students. Public library as open spaces connecting to an interactive social domain over communities can provide variety of learning environments, or technology based labs. There are many cases of the public information spaces with dynamic networks where participants can play their roles in physical space as well as in the intellectual stimulation. In the research, new public projects provide typologies of information spaces with user oriented media. The research is to address a creative transition between the reading space and the experimental links of the integration of state-of-the-art technology is highly visible in the building's design. The user-friendly browsing system that replaces the traditional browsing with the virtual shelves classified and archived by their form, is to reduce the storage space of the public library and it is to allow more space for collaborative learning. In addition to the intelligent robot of information storages, innovative features is the large-scale visualization space that supports team experiments to carry out collaborative online works and therefore the public library's various programs is to provide visitors with more efficient participatory environment.

Image Restoration Algorithm using Weighted Switching Filter for Remove Random-Valued Impulse Noise (랜덤 임펄스 잡음을 제거하기 위한 가중치 스위칭 필터를 이용한 영상 복원 알고리즘)

  • In the modern society, the use of digital equipment is increasing along with the 4th industrial revolution, and the importance of image and signal processing is increasing. At the same time, research on noise reduction is being actively conducted. In this paper, we propose a switching filter algorithm for random-valued impulse noise cancellation. The proposed algorithm obtains the threshold value by determining the noise level present in the image, and threshold value is compared with the difference between the input pixel value and the reference value, and is used in the weight switching process of the filter. The final output of the filter is estimated by applying a pixel weight and a modified weight median filter according to the switching, and obtains a final output by comparing the estimated value with the input pixel value. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we compared it with the existing methods using simulation and PSNR.

AWGN Removal using Pixel Noise Characteristics of Image (영상의 잡음 특성 추정을 이용한 AWGN 제거)

  • In modern society, a variety of video media have been widely spread in line with the fourth industrial revolution and the development of IoT technology; in accordance with this trend, numerous researches have been performed to remove noise generated in image and data communications. However, the conventional Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) cancellation techniques are likely to induce a blurring phenomenon in the noise removal process, thus impairing the information of the image. In this study, we propose an algorithm for minimizing the loss of image information in the removal process of AWGN. The proposed algorithm can apply weights according to the characteristics of noise by predicting AWGN in the image, where the output is calculated based on adding and subtracting the outputs of the high pass filter and the low pass filter. Compared to the existing method, the noise reduction using the proposed algorithm exhibited less blurring issues and better noise reduction properties in the AWGN removal process.

  • This study will attempt to analyze media art and discuss its main characteristics by using the concept based on Relational Aesthetics 'Affective Turn' as a basis of the theory. In addition, this study has some theoretical and practical implications, both in terms of the research and analysis of artworks and the structure development of art theories and aesthetics. To conduct the research, I have gone through a literature review on previous studies related to media art and Relational Aesthetics. Then, I have conducted a case study on the media art of TeamLab. This study shows that from the perspective of Relational Aesthetics, media art shows unique characteristics such as borderless and shareability. Moreover, it can allow the audience to actually 'feel' the relationship and integration between various objects. I hopethat this research could be used as a solid basis for future research and helpstrengthen the interaction between modern art and the public.

A Study on Intelligent Emotional Recommendation System Using Biological Information (생체정보를 이용한 지능형 감성 추천시스템에 관한 연구)

  • As the importance of human-computer interaction (Human Computer Interface) technology grows and research on HCI is progressing, it is inferred about the research emotion inference or the computer reaction according to the user's intention, not the computer reaction by the standard input of the user. Stress is an unavoidable result of modern human civilization, and it is a complex phenomenon, and depending on whether or not there is control, human activity ability can be seriously changed. In this paper, we propose an intelligent emotional recommendation system using music as a way to relieve stress after measuring heart rate variability (HRV) and acceleration photoplethymogram (APG) increased through stress as part of human-computer interaction. The differential evolution algorithm was used to extract reliable data by acquiring and recognizing the user's biometric information, that is, the stress index, and emotional inference was made through the semantic web based on the obtained stress index step by step. In addition, by searching and recommending a music list that matches the stress index and changes in emotion, an emotional recommendation system suitable for the user's biometric information was implemented as an application.

Digital Switching Filter Algorithm using Modified Fuzzy Weights and Combined Weights in Mixed Image Noise Environment (복합 영상 잡음 환경에서 변형된 퍼지가중치 및 결합가중치를 사용한 디지털 스위칭 필터 알고리즘)

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, modern society uses a diverse pool of devices. In this context, there is increasing interest in removing various kinds of noise arising in data transmission. However, it is difficult to restore image that damaged by mixed noise, and a digital filter that effectively restores an image according to the characteristics of the noise is required. In this paper, we propose a digital switching filter algorithm to remove mixed noise generated during digital image transmission. The proposed algorithm switches the filtering process through noise judgment and reconstructs the image using fuzzy weights and combined weights based on the pixel values inside the mask. To evaluate the proposed algorithm, we compared it with existing filter algorithms through simulation. Filtering results were expanded and compared for visual evaluation, and PSNR comparison was used for quantitative evaluation.

  • At present, the research of the method of 'Blank-Leaving' can be easily found in works of arts and architecture, while it can be hardly discovered in the academic research of film and television. However, as a means of expression, 'Blank-Leaving' gives a unique artistic charm to film and television works, and its development has a positive aesthetic effect to film arts. In order to go into details of the thought of 'Blank-Leaving' in movies, this paper firstly discusses the definition of 'Blank-Leaving', the history and social origin of 'Blank-Leaving' as well as its relationship with Taoism and its application in traditional Chinese painting. Secondly, this article analyzes its function and artistic expression in the film and television and the ideas sublimation it brings to people by means of combining the thought of 'Blank-Leaving' in Taoism. Finally, this work put forward the method of innovation and perfection of 'Blank-Leaving' in film and television works. This paper shows that, as a means of expression, 'Blank-Leaving' has not only realized the value of beauty, but also strengthened the public awareness of film arts.

  • Education system of Korea faced to enterance examination of universities in modern capitalism society. Education authority is confused by this, and then schools lost their goal for education. Mu-Wi in "Tao Te Ching" of Lao-tzu in one of Chinese old philosophers and ${\kappa}{\varepsilon}vo{\varsigma}$ of "Philippians" 2:6-11 give important meanings to modern people. Mu-Wi is anti-meaning of Jak-Wi or In-Wi, and means doing with natural state. This means that politicians do follow natural rule returing Jak-Wi or In-Wi to Mu-Wi in society with Jak-Wi or In-Wi. In addition, the meaning of ${\kappa}{\varepsilon}vo{\varsigma}$ is to love and serve people for calling of mankind from God through Jesus who gave himself to death in the society with hate and Jealous. It is great lesson of the saint and gives valuable and important meaning in education reality of Korea.
