Despite the important role of the transformational leadership and Creative Climate to achieve firms' sustainable competitive advantage, there has been limited empirical studies linking the transformational leadership and creative climate in employee's innovative performance. This study investigated the impact of transformational leadership on innovative performance based on employees of R&D department in IT services. This paper also investigated the mediating role of creative climate and moderating role of employee's innovative tendency in this relationship. Main findings of our empirical analysis are as follows. While the relationships between transformational leadership and innovative performance was positively associated, creative climate had positive effect on innovative performance. As expected, we also found that the creative climate had positively mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative performance. Also, the innovative tendency has statistically significant moderating effect on this relationship. Based on the findings, we have suggested theoretical and practical implications while future research directions with limitations of the research are discussed.

Awe is recognized as an emotion linked to enhancing openness to new experiences and broadening one's cognitive perspective through the acquisition of new knowledge. This research aimed to investigate awe's impact on consumer behavior in advertising, using a 2 (emotion: awe/control) × 2 (product type: innovative/non-innovative) experimental design with 118 undergraduate students in Seoul, Korea. Findings revealed that awe-inducing advertising significantly increases product preference and positive technology readiness, particularly for innovative products compared to non-innovative ones or when awe is not elicited. The analysis of moderated mediation showed that positive technology readiness plays a mediating role in the relationship between awe induction and product preference. Notably, in the case of innovative products, awe-inducing advertising heightens positive technology readiness, subsequently increasing consumer preference for these products. These results reinforce existing literature on awe's positive effects, demonstrating its role in augmenting consumers' favorable attitudes toward innovative products. The study offers valuable insights for marketing strategies of companies promoting innovative products or services, highlighting the effectiveness of awe-inducing emotional appeals in shaping consumer attitudes towards innovation.

This study examines the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and external oriented organizational culture on the firm perfornamance focusing on mediating effects of open innovation. The survey was conducted on Korean manufacturing firms with 100-5,000 employees among listed companies and external auditing companies. The validity of the research model and hypotheses was verified through analysis of structural equation model for 283 valid responses. Empirical results show that entrepreneurial orientation positively affects both open innovation and firm's performance. The external oriented organizational culture of firms appears to be positive effects on open innovation, but the effect between the external oriented organizational culture and firm's performance shows no statistical significance. Open innovation have positive effects on firm performance. In addition, a test for mediation effects of open innovation reveals that a full mediation exists between the external oriented organizational culture and firm's performance, while there is a partial mediation effect between entrepreneurial orientation and firm's performance. This study contribute to the literature by deepening understanding on the open innovation. We propose an integrated model for examining antecedent factors, open innovation and performance.

정부는 지역의 내생적인 역량을 바탕으로 지역혁신을 활성화하기 위하여 지역별로 연구개발특구 제도를 시행하고 있다. 연구개발특구내 각종 세제혜택과 정책적인 지원을 받는 연구소기업 제도는 지역혁신활성화를 위해 새롭게 등장한 혁신액터이다. 그러나, 이러한 연구소기업의 모형에 대한 연구는 체계적으로 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 대부분의 기업혁신활동에 대한 연구는 수도권과 대전 중심으로 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 기업대표를 대상으로 우수 연구소기업 모형 선정을 위한 요소들을 선정하고 AHP(계층적 분석기법)을 통하여 우수 모형을 선정하였다. 그 결과, 우수한 연구소기업 모형을 선정하는 데 가장 중요한 요인은 기술요인으로 나타났으며, 그 중 기술의 우수성을 최우선적으로 선택하였다. 또한, 세가지 연구소기업 모형 중, 합작투자형을 가장 선호하는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구는 지역을 기반으로 체계적인 우수 연구소기업 모형을 선정하는 시스템을 확립하고 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 성과를 거두었으며, 특히 제2의 도시임에도 불구하고 혁신클러스터 논의에서 소외된 부산지역을 중심으로 본 연구가 진행된 것에 큰 의미가 있다. 향후 설문범위와 숫자를 확대한다면 더 좋은 정책적 의미를 거둘 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 향후 연구소기업의 모형에 따른 장단점 분석과 함께 지역에서의 기술혁신활동에 대한 연구가 더욱 증가되어야 할 것이다.

지역별 산업 및 육성을 위해서는 지역 기술혁신 활동을 보다 실제적으로 모니터링하고 이를 바탕으로 분석하는 것이 중요하다. 특허 통계를 이용하여 지역별, 국가별 혁신 능력을 비교하는 연구는 많이 있어왔지만, 기존의 방법은 주로 출원인(기업)의 본사를 기준으로 행해져 왔으며, 실제 혁신활동이 행해지고 있는 지역을 기준으로 하지는 못하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실제 혁신활동을 대표한다고 할 수 있는 발명자의 지역분포 현황과 발명자간의 네트워크를 분석함으로써 특정 기술분야의 인력교류가 지역적으로 어떤 관계를 보이는지를 알아보았고, 이러한 지역혁신이 지역별 경제적 성과와 어떠한 연관성을 갖는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 2005년 출원된 한국등록특허를 기준으로 내국인이 출원한 특허 전체를 대상으로 한 지역간 네트워크 분석을 통해 분석한 기술혁신활동의 지역간 연계구조와 이후의 경제적 성과를 분석하였다.

Enterprise is focused on R&D innovative activities in order to achieve sustainable growth & secure competitive advantage. There are many factors that influence enterprise innovation performance, but enterprise innovation activities do not always have a positive effect. Therefore, this study analyzed the effects of on innovation performance, focusing on innovation acceleration factors and innovation hindrance factors. The research model analyzed 2,081 national manufacturing enterprises that responded to the 2016 Korean Innovation Survey (STEPI). SPSS 25.0 was used to perform reliability, feasibility, and logistic regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, innovation activities have positive effects on enterprise product and process innovation performance. On the other hand, government support had the opposite results. Second, the collaboration of technology showed a positive effect on product innovation performance, independent of innovation acceleration and hindrance factors. Third, innovation activities showed a positive effect on process innovation performance, regardless of the innovation acceleration and hindrance factors. Unlike prior studies limited to technological innovation, this study analyzed the attitudes of enterprises toward innovation acceleration and hindrance factors. This study is expected to contribute to establishing a strategy for reducing the failure and risk of innovation due to its findings on how innovation performance varies by groups.

Open innovation is known to have a significant impact on the performance of enterprise innovation. The role of open innovation is more critical due to small scale and limitation on the available resources for the venture company. This study focused on the relationship among Entrepreneurship(ENT), Innovation Capability(IC), and External Cooperation(EC), which affect Technological Innovation Performance(TIP) to maximize TIP. Empirical study was proceeded to analyze the relationships among ENT, IC, EC, and TIP for venture companies in Busan. ENT was verified to have a positive impact on IC, EC, and TIP. IC was done on EC and TIP. EC was done on TIP. Each of IC and EC showed positive mediating role in the relationship between ENT and TIP. Finally, IC and EC together performed positive mediating role in the relationship between ENT and TIC.

This paper examines the evolution of the systems of innovation approach and its main issues. At first, national systems of innovation have appeared on the purpose to substitute the neoclassical macroeconomic policies. But various criticisms have been raised because of the restriction within national boundary of analysis, the lack of dynamic analysis, the danger of institutional determination, the deficiency of theoretical accuracy in national systems of innovation. Technological systems, regional systems of innovation, sectoral systems of innovation have been developed to overcome criticisms about national systems of innovation. Nevertheless the unsettled questions in the systems of innovation approach remain. The academic and policy-making usefulness of the systems of innovation approach will be expanded by development of the complementary researches within approach.

To date, the literature has focused on formal R&D activities, such as internal, joint or external R&D, but informal R&D activities, such as job training or design, can also have a positive impact on technological innovation. To address this research gap, this paper examined 1) the influence of informal R&D activities on innovation adoption, and 2) the differences between formal R&D-oriented and informal R&D-oriented firms in process and product innovation. For this, statistical analysis was conducted using the data set from 2012 Korea Innovation Survey. The results suggest that 1) informal R&D activities can influence process innovation, and 2) firms engaging in both informal and formal R&D actively adopt product innovation. Findings suggest that 1) firms should recognize the importance of informal R&D and 2) national R&D policy should reflect the positive role of informal R&D in technological innovation.

본 연구의 목적은 공항 내 혁신시설에 대한 공항이용객의 평가를 통해 혁신적 서비스 양상과 기틀을 파악하는 것이다. 본 연구는 소비행동의 관점에서 공항이용객의 추구 혜택, 지각된 혁신성, 수용 의도, 구조화에 대한 욕구 등 4가지 개념의 이론에 근거하여 수행되었다. 공항의 혁신시설을 이용한 경험이 있는 299명 성인을 대상으로 2022년 7월 5일부터 9일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 공항이용객의 추구혜택과 수용의도 간의 관계에서 공항이용객의 지각된 혁신성의 매개효과 및 공항 이용객의 추구혜택과 지각된 혁신성 간의 관계에서 구조화에 대한 욕구의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 공항이용객의 추구 혜택은 수용 의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치고, 지각된 혁신성은 수용 의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 공항 이용객의 욕구에 근거하여 혁신적인 기능을 향상시켜야 함을 시사한다.
