외모의 중요성이 날로 증가하는 사회적 분위기 속에서 현대인의 아름다움에 대한 노력과 욕구는 더욱 활성화하고 다양해지고 있으며 이러한 영향으로 인해 뷰티미용 산업은 점점 세분화, 전문화되는 추세이다. 현대인의 과도한 퍼머넌트 웨이브나 헤어 컬러링으로 말미암아 모발 손상은 불가피한 현실인데 모발이 손상될수록 모표피가 벗겨져서 탈락하면서 인장력도 감소하여 헤어스타일링이나 펌 이후 만족도도 상대적으로 감소한다. 따라서 손상 모발에 대한 관리는 필요하지만 시중에 유통 중인 헤어 트리트먼트제는 인공합성 제품이 대부분을 차지하고 있어 인체에 유용한 항산화 물질을 함유한 헤어 트리트먼트 제품 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 단풍잎 추출물을 컬러링 한 모발의 역학적 변화에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 단풍잎의 손상 모발 회복과 모발 건강 개선을 위한 헤어 트리트먼트제 원료로서의 가능성을 연구하였다. 본 연구는 향후 천연물을 활용한 모발 미용제품 개발을 위한 기초 자료로 활용되리라 사료한다.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the formative characteristics and symbolism shown in Rock stars' hairstyles through rock music to have influenced youth culture. There were a D.A style and a mop top style which included the youth characteristic to seek a new desire and value as the hairstyles of Rock & Roll stars, along with the characteristics of Rock & Roll music to represent the feeling of teenagers in 1950's at that time unlike the previous music due to high beats mixed with Rhythm & Blues (R & B) and Country music, and use of electronic guitars. We can see the desire for challenge and freedom against the then present regime, shouting love and peace, and resistance in the Psychedelic Rock music stars' hairstyle, which are untrimmed and disheveled, that is, natural. We can find explosiveness in Mohican and Spike style of Punk Rock stars playing fierce and aggressive music, along with words including indignation and assertion against the society's regime. The Artistic characteristic is implied in the following hairstyles: Glam Rock stars' hairstyle, a man's long-haired but a little long crew-cut style to reduce the bulky feeling and to give a bisexual, visible shock with hair dyed in orange to emphasize magnificence, and Punk Rock stars' hairstyle showing beauty in their own way with expression of anti-beauty to intentionally look ugly. Like this, the 20th Century's Rock music and youth culture are closely associated each other, and showed a new style, and played a leading role in street fashion, which became a momentum to much influence high fashion as a look of the 20th century modern fashion.

This article was examined that the behavior of which they select hair equipment and a product may be significantly influenced by an interest in appearance during adolescence. This study was presented that according to gender, a girl student has higher confidence in appearance than a boy student, and also the higher the confidence in the girl's appearance, and they use more hair products. Moreover, the boy students are higher in than a girl student in the rate of dependence on hair equipment, so the boy students intend to use hair equipment. Therefore, this study was presented that the gender and an interest in appearance is important variables which influence to hair fashion of adolescence on an equipment and a product during presenting a hair-style, an interest in appearance of adolescence significantly influences on explaining the degree of hair equipment and leverage products as well.

This study aims to aid hair fashion design for using hair style change by knowing the hair fashion images' characteristics. To accomplish this purpose, posed a questions to capital area university women students from June 3. 2005. to June 23. 2005. The hair fashion images' characteristics are; (1) avant-garde - unique style of every categories, (2) ethnic - korean style of center part, no volume, down chignon, inactivated texture, (3) romantic pretty - girl like cute style of long, wide wave, wide braid, center part or bang, activated texture, using pin or ribon, (4) elegance - graceful style of down point up style having wave, volume and activated texture, (5) sexy - sexual attractive style of long & wide wave or straight with high volume, activated texture(wet feeling hair styles also possible), (6) sophisticate - refined urban style of inactivated textured graduation and layered straight hair, (7) natural - inartificial style of no volume, inactivated long straight and binding hair, (8) sporty - activated style of activated and inactivated textured short hair.

The purpose of this study is not only to widen and deepen the understanding of external environments of hairstyle but also to provide the basis of understanding and perspicacity as to the hairstyle which will be created under the influence of new music by contemplating distinctions between Glam Fashion and Punk Fashion of 1970s and by comparing and analyzing distinctions between Glam Hairstyle and Punk Hair Style of 1970s. As the method of this study, first of all four common factors, which are resistance, androgynous, beauty of ugliness and pursuit of pleasure through persona, were able to be ed from both Glam Fashion and Punk Fashion of 1970s, and then by using that factors as analyzing instrumental frame, the above two hairstyles were compared and analyzed through photographic materials in this study. According to the results of comparing and analyzing two hairstyles above, in Glam Hairstyle, the androgynous character is the most remarkable distinction. They tried to overturn the gender role by challenging the traditional color and form of hairstyle. In funk Hairstyle, the resistance is the most prominent distinction. They expressed their group identity resisting a pre-existing generation by putting on threatened and aggressive hairstyle.

The purpose of this study was to observe the Art-Deco style art and hair-style. Art-deco design, which was popular in the 20th century, especially in the 1920s and 1930s, actively absorbed new forms, materials, and aesthetic values that come from technological developments and bridged the tradition to new pupblic culture. Art-Deco style art showed and geometrical decoration tendency to meet modem concept and sense. The over all study on back grounds of Art-Deco style and its art works made possible to figure out the summary on formative characteristics of the style such as simplicity, exoticism, vivid colors, and functionalism. These findings suggest that hair styles borrow its characteristics or image from the past style to create new styles. It was found in the development of new hair styles that patterns or geometric motive appearing the Art-D$\acute{e}$eco style are the source of rich design.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of earring(nothing, small, medium, large), neckline(round, low), and hairstyle(bound, unbound) on image formation. Sets of stimulus and response scales(7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 16 pictures manipulated with the combination of earring, neckline, and hairstyle. The objects of the study were 192 female undergraduates living in Gyeongsangnam-do. The results of this study were as follows. Image factor of the stimulus was composed of 4 different components, concentration of attention, attractiveness, gracefulness, and cuteness. In the concentration of attention, earring and neckline showed independent effect. In the attractiveness, neckline showed independent effect. In the gracefulness, earring and hairstyle showed independent effect. Significant interaction effects of earring and neckline on concentration of attention, attractiveness and gracefulness were found. Interaction effects of neckline and hairstyle on cuteness were found. The study results are highly expected to be used as useful sources in developing total coordination.

Although Korean first ladies are not very big in changes in their hair style, American first ladies have greatly influenced clothing as well as hair style, exercising their influence over the apparel industry and fashion. Historically, American first ladies' fashion tastes have been on the center of attention and taken the lead in fashion. Although Korea first ladies' hair style are not very new or sensible enough to lead the fashion among the public, they have a sense of fashion and some influence on women of the upper classes. Beauty artists creating first lady hair style are representative of the times and have great value to the research. However, this study will not concentrate on their research. This study will analyze Korea first ladies' hair style, examine hair design and hair technique in fashion in those days. This study intends to provide important materials for Korean beauty history that has not been established by systematically arranging fashion style in the times analyzed through first ladies' hair style. Also, this study aims at researching in the aspect of beauty aesthetic concept through analyzing Korea first ladies' hair style.

The purpose of this study is to analize in the focus on junk art the relation between hairstyle and dress, and fine art which is one of the driving force of fashion change. The method of this study is to take into theoretically consideration junk art in the trend of art and to take into documental concideration the trend of junk art reflected on hairsyyle and dress. The results are as following. First, there's a trait of poverty. This means using something deserted in our life and expands a new expression world which introduces a new, poor beauty, refusing a existent, rich and arranged one. Second, there's a trait of machinery. In Junk Art, according to the appearance of the beauty of machines, it creates and introduces a mechanic aesthetics as a new- formative art by using industrial by-product. Third, there's a trait of nature. By Junk Art, there appears a trial to restore nature which has been neglected under the name of developing science technology. This expresses natural junk factor by emphasizing the nature itself using natural by-products. The Junk Art has influence on hairstyle and clothing and expands the expression world by some new ways and recognition about the benefaction and the damage of modern civilization.

스마트 거울은 다양한 IT기술을 활용하여 다양한 정보를 제공해 주는 거울이다. 그러나 기존의 스마트 거울은 단순한 정보만을 제공하거나 기존 정보 시스템에 답습에 그치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 스마트 거울의 기능과 함께 사용자 맞춤형 스타일링 가이드 모드를 최적화한 Iot 기반 스마트 거울 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템의 스타일링 가이드모드는 헤어 스타일링 방법 추천과 메이크 업 방법 추천, 퍼스널 컬러를 이용한 화장품 색상 추천 등의 다양한 기능을 제공하여 거울의 본질을 극대화 할 수 있도록 한다. 제안 시스템은 스마트 거울이 갖추어야 할 날씨 정보, 대중교통 도착정보, 길찾기, 일정 관리, 사진 촬영 등의 일반적인 기능을 제공한다. 이를 바탕으로 사용자에게 새로운 스타일링의 접근성과 활용성을 높이고, 다양한 미디어 정보를 통한 정보 활용과 외출 시간을 단축하는 새로운 스마트 거울 시스템을 제안한다.
