The important issue in header compression would be how to compress the dynamic field increasing constantly between consecutive packets in the head of IP wireless networks. Existent header compression scheme that can eliminated repeated field in header are RFC2507, RFC3095 and E-ROHC scheme. In this paper, I propose a new method of compressing TS fields, which are the Dynamic fields of the RTP packet, into BCB (Basic Compression Bits) basic bits or NCB (Negotiation Compression Bits, BCB + additional bits) bits. In order to verify the proposed header compression method, I have simulation about proposed video packets of IP wireless networks. using Visual SLAM.

MoIP is technology to transmit a variety of multimedia over IP, but compared to traditional voice services require greater bandwidth and radio resources in a wireless environment has already reached the limits. Therefore, as a way to resolve this issue for header compression is a lot of research. SCTP protocol header compression using ROHC-SCTP has been research, ROHC-SCTP packet structure of the ROHC algorithm with different types and, SCTP header compression to apply the characteristics of the poor performance of many of these have drawbacks. Therefore, in this paper to solve these problems better header compression algorithm was designed. In this paper, the proposed algorithm to evaluate the NS-2 simulation environment was modeled on the header compression operation. Evaluation results, the algorithm designed in this paper compared to ROHC-SCTP algorithms determine the overhead rate was low, the data types vary a lot better when the total header size was small.

Recently, the demands for real-time service and multimedia data are rapidly increasing. There are significant redundancies between header fields both within the same packet header and in consecutive packets belonging to the same packet stream. And there are many overheads in using the current UDP/IP protocol. Header compression is considered to enhance the transmission efficiency for the payload of small size. By sending the static field information only once initially and by utilizing dependencies and predictability for other fields, the header size can be significantly reduced for most packets. This work describes an implementation for header compression of the headers of IP/UDP protocols to reduce the overhead on Ethernet network. Typical UDP/IP Header packets can be compressed down to 7 bytes and the header compression system is designed and implemented in Linux environment. Using the Header compression system designed between a server and clients provides have the advantage of effective data throughput in network. Since the minimum packet size in Ethernet is 64 bytes, the amount of reduction by header compression in practical chatting environment was 6.6 bytes.

Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP) is the Internet standard protocol for transport of real time data audio/video IP Telephony, Multimedia Seivece. In case of 8kbps voice codec, the size of packet per data is 20bytes and become more large to minimal 40bytes with adding each layer's header in RTP/UDP/IP. To solve this problem, various header compression skill were suggested on point-to-point networks. But it compress even IP header and cannot be suitable to apply to end-to-end network Thus, We will renew header compression protocol to apply wired router-based network.

In this paper, we propose the enhanced header compression scheme for the efficient data traffic transmission in Ipv6 networks. The bandwidth of wireless links and IP networks will probably be limited due to properties of the physical medium and regulatory limits on the use of frequencies for radio communications. That is major cause of user throughput reduction. Therefore, We discuss the IPHC(RFC2507) and ROHC(RFC3095) scheme. IPHC is simple header compression scheme and ROHC is enhanced header compression that have fast optimal recovery scheme. We have studied the enhanced header compression scheme in ROHC. We will show that indication of compression context values preventing from packet losses can provide the fast recovery of compression state. Computer simulations show that the proposed scheme has better performance than the previous one.

In this paper, we propose a new profile, ROHC(RObust Header Compression) profile 7, for SCTP with ROHC for applying robust header compression SCTP, which is a transport layer protocol. The proposed new profile 7 adds a new field of 1 or 2 byte size on the existing SCTP packet header, which can make the SCTP stream to be diveded into acknowledgement stream and data stream. In addition, the classification of the stream can be used for recovering fault context. Consequently, in the case of using proposed ROHC-SCTP, it is possible to reduce the SCTP header overhead rate and also can be saved bandwidth.
This paper remarks IETF based requirements for IP/UDP/RTP header compression issued in 3GPP2 All IP Ad Hoc Meeting and protocol stacks of the next generation mobile station. All IP Network, for real time application such as Voice over IP (VoIP) multimedia services based on 3GPP2 3G cdma2000. Frames for various protocols expected in the All IP network Mobile Station (MS) are explained with several figures including the bit-for-bit notation of header format based on IETF draft of Robust Header Compression Working Group (ROHC). Especially, this paper includes problems of IS-707 Radio Link Protocol (RLP) for header compression which will be expected to modify in All IP network MS's medium access layer to accommodate real time packet data service[1]. And also, since PPP has also many problems in header compression and mobility aspects in MS protocol stacks for 3G cdma2000 packet data network based on Mobile IP (PN-4286)[2], we introduce the problem of solution for header compression of PPP. Finally. we suggest the guidelines for All IP network MS header compression about expected protocol stacks, radio resource efficiency and performance.

패킷 네트워크에서 음성, 영상 트래픽이 IP, UDP, RTP 를 이용하여 전송 될 때 중복 헤더가 사용되어 통신의 비효율을 초래한다. 이를 방지 하기 위해 ROHC(Robust Header Compression)가 적용된다.
