  • This study analyzes user behavior on YouTube Shorts within snack culture and proposes short-form video production strategies by identifying key value factors. Prior research identified seven characteristics (playfulness, time killing, information provision, social presence, interactivity, escapism, conciseness) and criteria based on the 5W1H principles. Surveys and interviews revealed that key user values are playfulness, time killing, conciseness, and interactivity. Users engage without specific purposes, watch 10-20 consecutive pieces selectively, and use it in comfortable environments. This research provides insights for understanding user behavior and short-form video production strategies.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze dining out consumption behavior of working women based on their lifestyle. To do this, demonstrative research was conducted on studying how the behavior of working women differs according to their lifestyle. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 350 working women living in Daejeon City. A total of 310 copies of the questionnaire were used for analysis, and the statistical analysis was completed using SPSS(ver 12.0) for descriptive analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis. A total of 4 factors were generated by factor analysis: Financial technology style, pursuit of dining out style, pursuit of popularity style, pursuit of brand style. The result of analyzing the difference between the consumer behavior by lifestyle of working women showed there were significant differences in 5 factors except time required for meal. To sum up, lifestyle of working women plays an important role in dining out consumption behavior. Therefore, marketing strategies about demographic characteristics and dining out consumption of working women are urgently needed.

  • The purpose of this study lies in analyzing the limitations and weakness of the existing PDL and proposing the principles for the development of a user-oriented PDL. The user group of PDL that we want to develop is university students. To this end, we investigate the information seeking behavior of the sampled user group, especially, their information needs, information use patterns, and information management patterns. Based on the results, we conceptually propose the systems specifications which the university students wish to be included in the PDL.

  • With the rapid increase in information and the development of information technologies, the importance of information management is increasing for individuals. The study aimed to examine how the motivations or disturbance factors of personal information management affect college students. First, the motivation and disturbance factors of personal information management were derived through the analysis of previous studies, and the effects of these factors on information organization and information management activities were analyzed. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was conducted for college students at a university in Seoul and a total of 593 valid responses were analyzed. The study found that the motivations or disturbance factors of personal information management influenced personal information management behavior. The study extends the literature of personal information management by analyzing the information management behavior of individuals and identifying the factors influencing such behavior. Furthermore, the finding of the study suggests the practical implications that it is essential to provide personal information management education so that college students can manage personal information efficiently.

  • This study aims to track pedestrian behavior in urban linear tourist sites and to analyse their behavioral characteristics. For these purposes, this study has adopted the direct observation, a behavioral tracking methodology, and selected Chenggyecheon in Seoul as the study site, a representative site of urban regeneration. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows: the period of stay and movement distance of pedestrians in the study area are both short and most pedestrian activities, apart from walking, are of a passive nature, such as pitching pennies, reading signs, resting and the like. Spatial points of Chenggyecheon at which pedestrians have exhibited these behaviors during their stay are summarized as 30 points and classified into 3 types: landmarks, bridges and nodes. Further research that combines several tracking methods in terms of urban pedestrian behavior is needed.

  • Regulatory agencies' response to resource constraints is an important issue in terms of regulatory effectiveness, but systematic research is lacking. As an effort to overcome this limitation, this study was to explore behaviors of regulatory agencies in response to resource constraints. Reviewing the precedent studies based on regulatory and organizational theories, the study suggested the potential behaviors of regulatory agencies under resource constraints: changes in regulatory processes, changes in enforcement methods, decoupling, and regulatory delegation and contracting-out. The study also discussed the realistic explanations of the response behaviors partly through the case of marine transportation regulation, and explained the problems that the regulatory agency's behaviors could bring about. Based on the findings, the study suggested that the regulatory framework should be designed to ensure the effectiveness of the regulatory system in consideration of the regulatory agencies' behaviors under resource constraints. The study is expected to contribute to developing a theoretical analysis framework ultimately for an empirical study in the future.
