The Potential Driving Behavior Analysis of Novice Driver using a Driving Simulator (차량시뮬레이터를 이용한 초보운전자의 잠재적 운전행동 분석)

  • In this study, It is conducted for novice drivers about driving behavior and psychological characteristics analysis to reduce traffic accident risk and provide the basic data of education program development. Therefore, this study classified by the category-specific characteristics and hazard prediction through survey of the novice driver and unpredictable behavior and psychological characteristics were studied. The novice and general characteristics and driving behavior with vehicle simulators, comparison and analysis of the novice driver traffic safety education basic research direction based on the statistical results. Prediction the results of this study, the Hazard of the driver, speeding, traffic violation, information providing omission, abrupt change, the number of accidents in all areas novice driver is high compared to the general driver. In addition, Novice driver showed a statistically significant level of Hazard compared to the general driver target novice drivers and the general ability to predict Hazard of violation, abrupt change, and a number of traffic accidents were omitted level of speeding and other information providing level drivers all showed similar results. Vehicle simulator. The experimental results showed that novice drivers compared to drivers poorly overall driving performance. It showed a notable difference in the number of collisions, especially novice drivers compared to drivers in complex road traffic conditions due to a lack of driving experience and learning ability are considered.

Exploring the Predictive Validity of Behavioral Characteristics Checklists for Identifying Mathematically Gifted Students in Korea (예측타당도를 중심으로 한 관찰·추천 영재판별용 행동특성 평정척도의 유용성 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the predictive validity of behaviroal characteristics checklists that are widely used in Korea for identifying mathematically gifted students. Three most widely used checklists were selected and implemented to classroom teachers who could teach and observe gifted students in regular classes. The predictive validity of the tree checklists were explored by generating the correlations between their ratings using those three checklists and the performance levels of gifted students, which were measured by teachers in gifted classes. Findings of this study are the followings: First, all three checklists could statistically significantly predict the performance of gifted students in gifted programs, and the checklist B showed the highest predictability. Secondly, without the assistance by those checklists, teachers could not predict the performance level of gifted students. Lastly, teachers that were trained for educating gifted students could very effectively predict the performance of gifted students with the aid of those checklists while teachers without appropriate training could not at all even with the aid of those checklists.

  • 앞으로 있을 유비쿼터스 환경을 위해 Situation Aware 기반의 RFID 시스템의 다양한 응용사례로 비정상행동 예측 시스템을 제안하였고, 이렇게 제안된 SA-RFID 시스템을 바탕으로 비정상 행동 예측 시스템을 시나리오 별 모델로 분류하여 각 모델별 동작 메커니즘과 세부 고려사항등을 제안한다. 또한 이러한 각각의 모델들의 프로토타입 테스팅을 통해 모델들의 중첩으로 이루어진 전체 시스템을 모델별 평가를 통한 신뢰도의 합으로 검증 하고자 한다.

  • 저비용, 네트워크화 된 센서들, 언제 어디서나 쉬운 인터넷 사용과 같은 컴퓨팅 환경의 진화는 우리의 일상생활 속으로 진정한 모바일 환경을 실현 가능하게 만든다. 이런 모바일 환경의 발달은 다양한 모바일 에이전트들을 양산하며 사용자의 편의를 극대화 할 수 있도록 한다. 모바일 에이전트들은 사용자 정보, 주변 환경정보, 컴퓨팅 정보 또는 애플리케이션 정보 등을 XML 기반 표준 언어인 ACML(Agent Communication Markup Language)로 저장한 후 상호교환 및 분석을 하게 된다. 기존 테이블 형태의 정보를 기반으로 사용자의 행동패턴을 분석 및 예측했던 시스템과는 달리 에이전트 환경에서의 사용자 행동패턴 분석 및 예측은 트리구조를 대상으로 하기 때문에 새로운 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법은 XML 기반 표준 언어인 ACML로 저장된 정보를 사용자의 상황(context)에 적합하도록 고려하여 언제, 어디서나 원하는 정보를 자동적으로 사용자에게 제공할 수 있도록 한다.

Main Psychological Factors Contributing to Speeding (과속운전 행동에 영향을 미치는 중요한 심리적인 요인들)

  • Speeding is a critical issue related to safety. It is one of violations which result in high fatality regarding the crashes causing the death. It is also affected by driver s variables such as sex, age, or mileage. However, these demographic variables cannot only explain fully the psychological mechanisms of speeding but also they are not helpful for the traffic safety education. Therefore, in our study, focusing on the theory of planned behavior (TPB), we explored the effects of attitudes toward speeding as well as subjective norms and perceived behavioral control on the intention and behaviors of speeding in which the demographic variables were controlled. Moreover, because speeding can be habitual without driver s intention, we did hierarchical regression on Past behaviors or habit as variables with ought, anger, and impulse as Predictable variables. The result showed that it was significant that TPB variables predicted intention and behavior of speeding. In addition. all additional variables excepting ought and anger showed the significant increment of the explained variance. Consequently, the limitations and implications for the intervention program of speeding were discussed.

A Study on the Participation of LINC(Leaders in INdustry-university Cooperation) at Korean Firm's Employees Applying the Theory of Planned Behavior (기업 구성원의 계획행동이론을 적용한 산학협력선도대학사업(LINC) 참여에 관한 연구)

  • Many Korean colleges funded by the Korean government have actively implemented LINC (Leaders INdustry-university Cooperation) programs to facilitate practical training since 2012. The LINC programs have two major different categories, a technologically and innovative focused program and a field-centered program. A number of studies have applied the TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior) model proposed by Fishbein and Azjen successfully to predict the behavioral intention in many areas, such as marketing, environmental purchasing, and technology, etc. On the other hand, few studies have applied the TPB within industry-university cooperation settings. The purpose of this study was to empirically test the applicability of the TPB model in predicting the employees' participation in LINC programs. To investigate the study's purpose, a closed-ended questionnaire, composed of a total of 32 questions based on previous studies, was developed, and the data from 115 out of 132 employees in the participating companies of LINC were utilized. Specific analysis of the study showed that the attitudes, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control were significant predictors of the LINC intention. In addition, the LINC intention was a significant predictor of the participation in LINC.

The Effect of Driving Specific Characteristics and Life Stress on Traffic Fafety (운전 상황에서의 개인특성과 생활스트레스가 교통안전에 미치는 영향)

  • The objectives of the present research are twofold. First, this research aims to compare the effect of trait characteristics(sensation seeking, social resistance and type-A behavior) with that of driving specific characteristics(driving anger and type-A driving) on problematic driving behavior. Second, the role of life stress as a mediator in the relationships between general trait characteristics and traffic safety index was examined. 1158 licensed commercial vehicle drivers were surveyed and their accident-related records were obtained in this research. Results showed that driving specific characteristics were significant indicators of traffic safety and life stress mediated the relationships between general trait characteristics and traffic safety index. These findings implicate that understanding drivers' driving specific characteristics and their levels of life stress is important to reduce problematic driving behaviors and enhance traffic safety.

해양사고 기반 해기사의 행동오류 평가에 관한 기초 연구

  • 해기사의 행동오류는 해양사고를 야기하는 최종 결과물이다. 해기사의 행동오류는 SRK(Skill, Rule, Knowledge) 행동이론을 통해서 규명할 수 있고, 이러한 행동오류는 해양사고 기록을 통해서 식별할 수 있다. 본 발표의 목적은 과거 해양사고 기록을 토대로 해기사들의 다양한 행동오류와 이들 행동오류로 인하여 발생한 해양사고를 연계하여 해기사들의 행도오류를 평가하기 위한 방법과 현재까지의 결과를 소개하는데 있다. 라스무센이 제한한 행동이론에 해양사고 기록을 적용하여 해양사고 발생 당시의 해기사들의 행동오류를 식별할 수 있었다. 식별한 변수를 이용하여 해기사들의 행동오류를 추정한 결과, 사고원인과 결과 및 행동오류 사이에 강한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 추후, HMM(Hidden Markov Model)을 이용한 예측 기법을 적용하여 행동오류에 따른 해양사고 예방 방안을 제안할 예정이다.

  • The present research integrates the core aspects of anger with the theory of planned behavior to investigate factors influencing online activism in a Web site. This study conducted online survey, and the sample was members who joined the V4400 Sobi-ja-heem Web site. The Web site Sobi-ja-heem was initiated by a consumer who was irritated at the cell phone manufacturer Samsung Inc. because its model, "Anycall" had major product defects such as the malfunction of the camcorder, poor tone quality, fuzziness of the screen, and broken text messages. The findings suggests that adding anger in Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) enhances the explanatory power of the theory in predicting an intention to participate in activities to correct the issue, which indicates the possibility of combining emotion and the TPB in the prediction of online activism.

  • 본 논문에서는 실제환경에서와 같이 예측할 수 없는 상황에서 에이전트의 인지와 자동 행동 생성 방법을 제안한다. 전통적인 에이전트의 지능제어 방법은 환경에 대해 알고 있는 정보를 이용한다는 제약 때문에 다양하고 복잡한 환경에 적응할 수 없었다. 최근, 미리 알려지지 않은 환경에서 자동으로 행동을 생성할 수 있는 센서와 행동을 연결하는 행동 기반의 방법과 추론, 학습 및 계획 기능의 부여를 위한 하이브리드 방법이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 환경조건으로 움직이는 장애물을 인지하고 피할 수 있는 행동을 생성하기 위해 행동 네트워크에 Bayesian 네트워크를 결합한 방법을 제안한다. 행동 네트워크는 입력된 센서 정보와 미리 정의된 목적 정보를 가지고 다음에 수행할 가장 높은 우선순위의 행동을 선택한다. 그리고 Bayesian 네트워크는 센서 정보들로부터 상황을 미리 추론하고 이 확률 값을 행동 네트워크의 가중치로 주어 행동 선택을 조정하도록 한다. 로봇 시뮬레이터를 이용한 실험을 통해 제안한 행동 네트워크와 Bayesian 네트워크의 결합 방법으로 움직이는 장애물을 피하고 목적지를 찾아가는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
