The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the responses of middle school students to English learning after conducting English writing activities using DALL-E2, an image-generating artificial intelligence tool. To this end, an experimental class was conducted for 3 weeks for 15 middle school English learners, and the results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of a survey on English writing activities using DALL-E2, it was found that confidence, interest, and awareness of writing using artificial intelligence-based tools changed positively. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference, which meant that learning using artificial intelligence had a positive effect on English writing and overall English learning. Second, as a result of analyzing the English writing activities using DALL-E2, core themes could be extracted into three (cognitive, affective, and psychodynamic characteristics), and the use and implementation of artificial intelligence-based DALL-E2 in English learning showed potential to increase learning interest, challenge, will, and desire in learning and ultimately contribute to enhancing productive skill.

The purpose of this study is to explore keywords within stalking-related news articles according to political orientation through the text network analysis, and then to examine the implicit intentions. Selecting total 1,607 articles including 824 articles of the conservative press(The Chosun Ilbo, The Joongang Ilbo) and 783 articles of the progressive press(The Hankyoreh, The Kyunghyang Shinmun) reported from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022, this study explored the aspect of topic category drawn through the topic modeling technique based on LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation). In the results of this study, the common topics of the conservative and progressive press were improvement of the perception of gender-based violence, personal protection & intensity of punishment, and disclosure of stalkers' personal information. Regarding the topics differently shown in those two press, the conservative press showed stalkers' harmful act, and outline of 'murder case at Sindang Station' while the progressive press showed request for aggravated punishment on the 'murder case at Sindang Station', and eradication of sexual exploitation crime (in cyber space). The results of this study imply that there are changes in the type of reporting according to ideological opinions about stalking in news articles.

With the softness of online entertainment news articles and the increasing number of quick-reporting articles in the entertainment sector, many people have access to entertainment front-page articles and are now able to make reviews of celebrities. It is not easy to systematically analyze which news articles are about which celebrities in a real-time environment, although their reputation is a key factor in the entertainment agency's business strategy, which should make the most of its affiliated celebrity resources. Based on the amount of celebrity references mentioned in entertainment news data, this paper proposes an entertainment news keyword analysis system, which extracts celebrities that are the subject of the article and associates them with the celebrity entertainment agency in question. Through the system proposed in this paper, advertisers or entertainment agencies can judge the value of the celebrity as reference material for the business. In addition, it can lay the groundwork for an investment strategy by predicting the outlook for the entertainment company for brokerages and investors.

This research is to study the psychological, emotional, physical pains of the spouses of gambling addicts and the recovery process from the suffering. From this, we expect to propose a supportive program to help the recovery. Nine of the spouses of gambling addicts joined this research and the hermeneutical grounded theory methodology was applied to interpret it. Data were collected by the depth interview and various written records and they were analyzed by Rennie(2007)'s methodology. We could construct 20 categories by analyzing and categorizing meaningful units of the data. The core theme of the recovery experience was presented as "Stopping rolling the Sysyphus's boulder, and returning to the routine peace." Based upon the research outcomes, we suggested a supportive program considering male and female differences and a way to improve the accessibility to the therapy system for the spouses of gambling addicts and the need for a meaning therapy.

This study emphasizes the need to understand digital transformation and addresses the development process of functional mobile games with the theme of digital transformation. Through previous research, we found that existing mobile games do not reflect the changes in industries and jobs in the future. In this study, we designed and developed an educational mobile game that can help young people develop digital literacy skills and understand core skills for future changes in industrial structure and jobs due to digital transformation. It utilizes Unity 3D and combines the best features of puzzle, card, and board games. While there may be limitations in terms of expertise in developing educational content, it is important to note that we have presented content that can provide a futuristic view of careers through a game that is highly preferred by students. Considering the direct and indirect educational effects of the game, it is expected to be useful as a vocational education content in the classroom through tablet devices that have recently been distributed in schools.

The growing impact of cross-border movement of information is increasing interest in information policy through digital trade agreements in major trading countries. Major trading partners are calling for the inclusion of their digital policies in trade agreements to strengthen market dominance and protect personal information. This study analyzes the meaning and disputed settlement cases of the WTO's public policy objectives and examines the tendency of stakeholders to standardize legitimate exceptions to public policy objectives in digital trade. The study also examines the desirable direction of digital trade standardization suitable for the changing international trade environment. There is still debate about the specific objectives that should be included and the extent to which they should be allowed to restrict trade, however this study finds that there is a growing consensus on the need for legitimate public policy objectives to be included in digital trade agreements. The study concludes that the desirable direction of digital trade standardization is to strike a balance between the need to protect legitimate public policy objectives and the need to liberalize digital trade. This balance will need to be adjusted as the international trade environment continues to change.

Circular motion has been one of the most difficult concepts for students to understand. To facilitate for students to form scientific mental models about circular motion, this study developed 4M learning cycle teaching model based on the integrated mental model theory and strategies. For this study, fifty-three eleventh graders at a technical high school in Inchon were taught for 3 class hours. We conducted tests of basic physics concept and mental model of circular motion before, after, and two months after instruction. In results, we found that there were statistically significant improvement in the test of basic physics concept and mental model related with circular motion after instruction. Especially, this teaching model affected learning effectiveness of Correctness and Coherence of mental model.

Solid-state hydrogen storage is gaining prominence as a crucial subject in advancing the hydrogen-based economy and innovating energy storage technology. This storage method shows superior characteristics in terms of safety, storage, and operational efficiency compared to existing methods such as compression and liquefied hydrogen storage. In this study, we aim to evaluate the solid hydrogen storage performance on the nanotube surface by various structural design factors. This is accomplished through molecular dynamics simulations (MD) with the aim of uncovering the underlying ism. The simulation incorporates diverse carbon nanotubes (CNTs) - encompassing various diameters, multi-walled structures (MWNT), single-walled structures (SWNT), and boron-nitrogen nanotubes (BNNT). Analyzing the storage and effective release of hydrogen under different conditions via the radial density function (RDF) revealed that a reduction in radius and the implementation of a double-wall configuration contribute to heightened solid hydrogen storage. While the hydrogen storage capacity of boron-nitrogen nanotubes falls short of that of carbon nanotubes, they notably surpass carbon nanotubes in terms of effective hydrogen storage capacity.

In this paper, we present the results of a study of lessons learned from the life of Caleb (Cal), a significant character in John Steinbeck's "East of Eden." His life serves as a powerful example of the process of self-discovery, overcoming conflicts with self, others, and society. He emphasizes the importance of managing and understanding your emotions, learning to acknowledge and express them throughout your journey. He makes moral judgments while confronting desires and conflicts, and transparently demonstrates the importance of self-determination based on ethical decisions, while his honest expression and acceptance of his own emotions emphasizes the core value of emotion management and understanding. Additionally, his story emphasizes the clear importance of understanding and compromise in human relationships. We present a thorough exploration of these topics and consider how the lessons from Caleb's story can be applied to our everyday lives. As a result of the analysis in this paper, we expect to gain insight into how these lessons can be applied and put into practice.

School facilities play are crucial in improving educational outcomes not only by serving as physical infrastructure to achieve the goals of school education but also by positively influencing the satisfaction of school users (e.g., teachers and students) and students' academic achievement and emotional development. Consequently, the importance of school facilities has been consistently emphasized. This study aims to explore the research trends of school spaces within the field of educational facilities to identify the future role and research directions of school spaces. Therefore, content and network text analyses were conducted on 531 studies published from 2001 to 2022 that are related to school spaces in the Korean Educational Facilities Society and Korean Educational Green Environment Research Institute. Further, quantitative changes, target contributions, research methods, and shifts in key words and themes were analyzed. The results suggest the need for expanding research subjects, improving the educational environment by reflecting characteristics and needs of each educational stage, broadening the use of research methodologies, and expanding research on school safety to further contribute to the development of research on school spaces.
