  • The smart factory market is expected to show high growth rate in the future, supported by demand for manufacturing innovation in order to overcome structural low growth. Especially in the future manufacturing industry, robots are combined with IT, becoming the most important core technology. In this paper, we proposed and implemented state information classification method for IoT-based robot control in smart manufacturing environment.

  • Until recently, as we recognize the significance of sustainable growth and competitiveness of small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), governmental support for tangible resources such as R&D, manpower, funds, etc. has been mainly provided. However, it is also true that the inefficiency of support systems such as underestimated or redundant support has been raised because there exist conflicting policies in terms of appropriateness, effectiveness and efficiency of business support. From the perspective of the government or a company, we believe that due to limited resources of SMEs technology development and capacity enhancement through collaboration with external sources is the basis for creating competitive advantage for companies, and also emphasize value creation activities for it. This is why value chain network analysis is necessary in order to analyze inter-company deal relationships from a series of value chains and visualize results through establishing knowledge ecosystems at the corporate level. There exist Technology Opportunity Discovery (TOD) system that provides information on relevant products or technology status of companies with patents through retrievals over patent, product, or company name, CRETOP and KISLINE which both allow to view company (financial) information and credit information, but there exists no online system that provides a list of similar (competitive) companies based on the analysis of value chain network or information on potential clients or demanders that can have business deals in future. Therefore, we focus on the "Value Chain Network System (VCNS)", a support partner for planning the corporate business strategy developed and managed by KISTI, and investigate the types of embedded network-based analysis modules, databases (D/Bs) to support them, and how to utilize the system efficiently. Further we explore the function of network visualization in intelligent value chain analysis system which becomes the core information to understand industrial structure ystem and to develop a company's new product development. In order for a company to have the competitive superiority over other companies, it is necessary to identify who are the competitors with patents or products currently being produced, and searching for similar companies or competitors by each type of industry is the key to securing competitiveness in the commercialization of the target company. In addition, transaction information, which becomes business activity between companies, plays an important role in providing information regarding potential customers when both parties enter similar fields together. Identifying a competitor at the enterprise or industry level by using a network map based on such inter-company sales information can be implemented as a core module of value chain analysis. The Value Chain Network System (VCNS) combines the concepts of value chain and industrial structure analysis with corporate information simply collected to date, so that it can grasp not only the market competition situation of individual companies but also the value chain relationship of a specific industry. Especially, it can be useful as an information analysis tool at the corporate level such as identification of industry structure, identification of competitor trends, analysis of competitors, locating suppliers (sellers) and demanders (buyers), industry trends by item, finding promising items, finding new entrants, finding core companies and items by value chain, and recognizing the patents with corresponding companies, etc. In addition, based on the objectivity and reliability of the analysis results from transaction deals information and financial data, it is expected that value chain network system will be utilized for various purposes such as information support for business evaluation, R&D decision support and mid-term or short-term demand forecasting, in particular to more than 15,000 member companies in Korea, employees in R&D service sectors government-funded research institutes and public organizations. In order to strengthen business competitiveness of companies, technology, patent and market information have been provided so far mainly by government agencies and private research-and-development service companies. This service has been presented in frames of patent analysis (mainly for rating, quantitative analysis) or market analysis (for market prediction and demand forecasting based on market reports). However, there was a limitation to solving the lack of information, which is one of the difficulties that firms in Korea often face in the stage of commercialization. In particular, it is much more difficult to obtain information about competitors and potential candidates. In this study, the real-time value chain analysis and visualization service module based on the proposed network map and the data in hands is compared with the expected market share, estimated sales volume, contact information (which implies potential suppliers for raw material / parts, and potential demanders for complete products / modules). In future research, we intend to carry out the in-depth research for further investigating the indices of competitive factors through participation of research subjects and newly developing competitive indices for competitors or substitute items, and to additively promoting with data mining techniques and algorithms for improving the performance of VCNS.

In spite of plant industry is dynamic field which leads state-of-the-art and creates a value, phased information management and knowledge intensive business accomplishment are insufficient. Henceforth plant is expected to demand increment of industrial project from hereafter international plant industry market. The continuous plan technique and know-how accumulation are urgent from domestic. 1'his research analyzes the areas in which domestic plant industry is insufficient and then elicits project management key success factors from current operation process. In addition, this research compares domestic plant level with overseas plant level. This study establishes work models for critical work phases based on the analysis of domestic plant technical level.

  • This study is intended to estimate the demand for the green health industry market, to seek for the strategies to develop human resources and to provide fundamental data for development of local green health industry specialization programs in the manner of investigating the intentions to participate in and opinions about the green health industry. Data were collected from 190 and surveyed from 5 to 19 in November 2010. Based upon the priority survey and factor analyses of educational contents for development of human resources specializing in the green health industry, there is some difference in the classification of all domains between the two groups, however the results concerning the cognition of the language education of educational contents and the priority of medical tourism marketing are similar between the two groups. As one of the biggest problems with medical tourism is the difficulty of communication during medical examination and treatment, it is desirable to develop professional human resources with global competitiveness based on customized education as well as excellent language skills by the specialized fields of green health industry.

  • Logistics industry was changed after China join into the WTO. Compared with other countries, cost of logistics is very high in China. Besides, there are several problems with the demand basis, service and information technology of the third-party logistics. The forth-party logistics was appeared in logistics market in this context. The forth-party logistics was just become to develop in China so there are many problems recent years. Chinese government propose some solutions with the development of the fourth-party logistics such as the adjustment of the logistics industry policy, strengthening of the logistics information system and infrastructure, training logistics expertise. This research pointed out the obstacles in the development of the forth-party logistics in China by analyzing the present situation and the development strategy of some representative companies such as ANDE Logistics Company and Philips Logistics Company. The purpose of this paper is to research the development of the forth-party logistics in China by analyzing the problems with Chinese government and logistics companies, and finally bring up some solutions with these problems.

  • Overseas marketing before the conclusion of a contract is a huge obstacle to enter the global market because it has needed the company's maximum capacities which are some cost, time and human resources. Thus it required a reestablishment about the education fields and research schemes. Due to the advancements in ICT and internet, a subject of e-trade is becoming a critical issue with a subject of a practice of international trade. However, since the mid-2000s, e-trade research articles and educational materials such as textbooks, research papers are being gradually reduced. Therefore the purpose of this study, from an oversea marketing point of view among the various e-trade fields, is to measure an education performance and an academic research scheme. And this study will suggest direction of improvement about research scheme and educational performance in the overseas marketing. According to the result, to establish the education and research scheme about SEM(Search Engine Marketing), SEO(Search Engine Optimization) and SNA(Social Network Analysis) which are introduced in the industry among the education and research field related the e-trade is urgent. And some subjects need a capstone-design reconcile theory and practice.

  • Due to the dramatic development of the Internet, the ICT market has changed from a voice based services to data based services. Substitution and complementary dynamism has emerged from communication technology services such as the Internet, mobile phone, and telephone. This paper analyses diffusion patterns of communication technologies such as the Internet, cellular phones, and telephones in different country groups. We estimate modified logistic growth model using time series data for the years 1975-2002. As a result, it is possible to categorize country groups according to the patterns of diffusions. This research creates essential information to forecast demand for new services based on incumbent services as well as provide information on strategies for entering the network industry.

  • Laser slide marking systems are being considered by the staffs of clinical laboratories in hospitals as the main potential substituent for the conventional manual processes of the laboratory works. Many of the processes in domestic hospitals such as operations of test equipments in clinical laboratories and physical distributions in hospitals are being computerized due to the recent development of information technologies. The clinical laboratories in charge of inspection processes are putting their efforts on the computerization and automation of the test equipments, which increases the demand for the usage of laser marking slide systems which is the main component of the inspection works. The domestic market size of the laser slide marking systems is expected to be 250 million won in 2008, which is believed to increase to 1.75 billion won in 2012. The laser slide marking system was first introduced to domestic hospitals in 2005. It's product life cycle is currently on the early stage, and it is believed to have a very high growth potential in the future.

  • 최근 민간사업분야에서도 GIS를 응용하려는 시도가 많아지고 있다. 몇몇 도전적인 기업들은 수년 전부터 GIS를 도입하여 주요의사결정에 활용하고 있으며, 매년 GIS 활용도를 높여가고 있다. 실제 본 연구도 경쟁이 치열한 국내 할인점 시장에서 GIS 도입을 통해 근본적인 경쟁력 확보를 희망하는 기업의 경영과제를 해결하는 것으로 시작됐다. 이러한 기업들은 지역의 특성을 단편적으로 파악하는 것에 만족하지 않고 지역별로 어떠한 전략을 수립할 것인지에 대한 해법을 요구하며, 이를 통해 새로운 수요창출을 기대하고 있다. 매출을 높이는 것은 모든 기업의 주요 경영목표이다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때 GIS를 이용한 매출예측은 기업들에 큰 의미가 있다. 특히 백화점이나 할인점 등의 점포를 운영하는 기업들에는 객관적인 경영전략을 지원하는 도구로 활용할 수 있다. 그래서 단순한 예측 수준을 뛰어 넘어 매출 향상을 위한 방안 마련까지 요구되고 있다. 기존의 GIS를 이용한 매출예측은 특정 반경 내 인문사회적 통계자료를 추출하여 통계적 방법에 의해 매출을 추정하는 과정을 통해 이뤄진다. 이는 과거의 정보를 기반으로 현재를 진단하는 효율적인 방법이다. 하지만, 어떠한 전략으로 내일을 준비해야 하는지에 대한 해법을 제시하기에는 한계가 있다. 이러한 이유로 기존방법론은 예측에 대한 통계적 설명력이 높다 하더라도 기업들의 현장업무에서 활용되지 못하고 있다. GIS를 이용한 매출예측 방법이 기업활동에 활용되려면 과거의 매출정보를 기반으로 현재를 진단하는 역할, 지역별로 차별화된 마케팅 전략 수립, 국지적 단위의 시장 진단과 매출 향상 방안 등을 지원하여야 한다. 본 연구는 매출발생이 예상되는 지역의 경계를 설정하여 상권영역을 생성하는 방법론이 핵심이다. 다시 말해 예상되는 매출 영역을 폴리곤 단위로 추출한다는 것이다. 기업들에 어느 정도의 매출이 어떤 지역에서 발생할 것인지에 대한 정보를 제공하면 지역별 매출 향상을 위한 전략 마련이 가능하다. 수치만을 제공하는 매출 예측방법과 비교하면 구체적인 마케팅 활동을 지원할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 이러한 방법론은 기업의 마케팅 활동에 실질적인 도움을 줄 것으로 판단된다.
