China water market has huge potential for increased use of BOT mode and one of the most attractive markets of doing business. However, the current China water BOT market shows that many foreign companies are retreating from the market while Chinese water companies fast growing. From the view no domestic companies have track records in China BOT water market, the research identified twenty market access barriers in terms of construction laws, regulations, BOT-related policy and the recent market situation. These are evaluated based on interview results with 10 professionals direct or indirect having a China water BOT experience. All the factors are found to be highly influential to foreign company's decision on the market participation. Among those, no fixed return policy and low water price, difficulty in water price adjustment and approval, and no government guarantees, all directly related to the project viability and under the control of government, were the most critical factors, implying government's role is the key in increasing the market competition by attracting more foreign participation on the market. In addition, new construction law regulating foreign EPC contractor's construction work, namely Decree 113, and requirement of applying competitive bidding in selecting EPC contractor in a BOT project are also considered signigicant barriers on foreign participation, which contradicts international norm and therefore necessitates an adjustment on current decision process in domestic companies.

작년 한해 자판기 수출시장에서 가장 두드러진 성장을 보인 분야가 초상화자판기 분야이다. 국내에서는 소리 소문도 없었던 이 제품은 유럽, 미주 등의 해외지역을 대상으로 총 395대, 151만불 규모의 수출을 진행, 우리의 어뮤즈먼트 관련 자판기도 해외에서 얼마든지 먹힐수 있다는 사실을 입증시켰다. 국내에서는 이미 시장성에 대해 실패를 본 이 제품의 해외 수출시장에서의 성공은 대단한 이변인 동시에 해외 마케팅의 중요성이 얼마나 큰지를 여실히 입증한 사례라 할 수 있다. 금번 집중취재에서는 초상화자판기로 성공신화를 엮어 가는 온에듀의 사업 행보를 살펴봤다.

지난 6월 22일부터 7월 6일까지 한국오리협회 회원 36명은 로스앤젤레스를 비롯한 샌프란시스코 등 미서부 지역을 12박 15일간의 일정으로 2023년 해외연수를 다녀왔다. 이번 해외연수는 국민소득 증가 및 웰빙 붐에 따른 고품질 축산물에 대한 소비자의 욕구증대에 대응하기 위한 전략을 마련하고 자조금 사업 홍보 확대 및 시장개방에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 축산인 스스로의 전문성을 함양하기 위해 진행됐다. 총 36명의 해외연수단이 방문한 미국은 전세계 식품 시장의 50% 이상을 차지하고 있으며 세계 경제의 중심지이자 최대 식품 수요처로 글로벌 식품회사들의 '꿈의 무대'로 인식되고 있다. 이번 해외연수를 통해 미국 식품시장의 현주소와 트렌드를 살펴보고 미국 현지 농장을 방문해 경험한 새로운 형태의 복합농을 소개한다.

현재의 우리나라 SI 관련 산업은 IT 산업의 핵심을 차지하고 국내 산업을 주도할 전략 사업으로 그 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, IT 산업의 경쟁력을 강화하는데 SI 산업의 대내외 위상이 커지고 있다. 2002년도 SI시장 규모는 전년대비 15%정도 성장한 9.5조원을 형성할 것으로 예상된다. 올해는 SI사업부문 매출액 등을 전년대비 해볼 때 국내 SI사업 시장이 호전되었지만, 해외 SI사업 시장 상황은 여전히 어려운 것으로 나타나고 있다. 그 타개책으로 국내 SI 업체의 자본 및 기술의 합작제휴가 많아지고 있으며 그 중 자본 제휴보다는 중점적으로 기술 제휴를 하고 있지만, 기술 제휴 한계는 기술 이전이나 기술 확보가 되지 않는 것이다. 기술개발이 무한경쟁의 시대에서 살아 남기 위하여 어느 때 보다 더 필수 불가결의 수단이 되고 있어 기술개발을 위하여 SI 기업들이 R&D 투자와 운용에 회사의 사활을 걸고 있으며, R&D현황은 이전에 비해 단순히 양적인 측면을 떠나 질적인 부문에도 많은 변화가 일고 있다. 이것은 기술개발이 SI 시장의 흐름을 간파하거나 리드할 수 있는지가 주요 개발요인으로 작용하고 있기 때문으로 SI산업에서의 R&D 현황 등을 검토하여 국내 SI산업의 발전뿐만 아니라 해외시장의 참여에 기여 할 수 있도록 R&D 활성화 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

As entering the international construction market became more difficult than the past, ODA projects can be a breakthrough for domestic engineering companies to enter the international market. However, since many companies compete for limited projects, it is necessary to reinforce the competitiveness of bidding success. The competitiveness is the result of accumulating experience, reputation, and networking through partnering. Therefore, depending on which partnering strategy has been taken over a long period, the bidding success is decided. The objective of this study is to identify the effective partnering strategy for bidding success. For this, the World Bank bid results, focusing on consulting projects in Vietnam, are collected. Using the bid results, inter-firm network representing the partnering relationship is constructed and the Social Network Analysis is conducted. After then, by conducting the Logistic Regression Analysis, effective partnering strategies are suggested. The result shows that the diversification strategy is advantageous for transportation and city development projects and the concentration strategy is advantageous for water projects. The partnering strategy for the consulting project proposed in this study will be used as a reference for the domestic engineering companies to enter the Vietnam construction market in the future.

Recently Gas & Oil plant construction projects are increasing in the world. The EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) company, which participate in the plant projects, should possess the pertinent engineering license and procurement skill to create high added-value. It is because the procurement is very substantial to cover 70% of the total project cost. Nonetheless, there exist various risks involved in the procurement process due to the characteristics of the construction projects with long duration and complicated process as well as the procured goods or services subjected to various logistics. The objective of this paper is to analyze proper process in the procurement and to identify various information and document. Also to analyze procurement process, the principal data are derived from the interview with experts and specialty contractors of plant project. The result of this study would widely be used as a guide to the procurement personnel in forecasting the risks in advance.

국내의 초고압 기기 제조 업체에서는 종래의 GCB type의 사업에서 급속히 GIS type의 사업으로 전이하여 지금은 어느 정도 자리를 잡아가고 있으나, 해외의 유수한 업체와 비교할 경우에는 아직도 기술 선진 업체에 대한 기술의존도 및 제품 다양성 등에서는 거리가 멀다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 현상에 비추어, 다음과 같이 가스절연개폐장치(GIS)에 대한 기본적인 기술적 접근을 통하여 해외의 유수한 가스절연개폐장치(GIS) 제작회사의 생산현황과 국가별 적용정격을 알아보고자 한다.
