Master plan plans for new airports should estimate the approximate scale of the airside's moorings and terminals. The size of the pavilion can be determined by complex factors such as the operating hours of the operating company, the frequency of operation, and the aircraft class. Among them, the number of flights is calculated using the Horon-jeff equation because of the relationship between the number of flights and the time occupied by the mains. Since this estimation formula is a simplified formula, it is necessary to verify the appropriateness of the method of estimating the scale and to suggest improvement directions. Therefore, in this study, we propose a method of estimating the size of the western flags by investigating and analyzing the main airports of overseas airports to determine whether the application of the Horon-jeff formula is appropriate.

In Korea, most of the land area is composed of mountainous areas, making it difficult to develop airports because there is not enough open space to operate airports or airfields. However, the current development of the air transportation industry and the rapid increase of aviation demand, the construction of the training airfield infrastructure should be more actively reviewed for safe and smooth flight training. In this study, we analyze the actual condition of operation of domestic training airfield and the case study of overseas training site in order to establish appropriate level standard model of training infrastructures. In addition, this study suggests implications for the appropriate scale and operational efficiency of the training flight infrastructure.

With the acceleration of economic globalization, the development of aviation logistics plays an increasingly significant role in the logistics industry. As the foundation of aviation logistics development, airport terminals are attracting increasing attention. In this respect, the aim of this research is to analyze 65 academic papers on Chinese airport terminals from 2003 to 2020 by utilizing analytic keywords of academic papers and suggest the research trend of Chinese airport terminals. The SNA was adopted as research methodology. Airport Terminal, Boned, and Chinese Mainland were the keywords for the first period (2003-2008), while the second period (2009-2014) included the keywords such as China, DEA, Airport, and Flight Delay. For the third period (2015-2020), Airport Competitiveness and Aviation Network were also highly connected keywords. This indicates that with the growth of the economy, the research trend of China's airport terminals has been gradually expanding from infrastructure construction to network development. The results have implications on suggesting the research trend of Chinese airport terminals, and providing insights to the policy makers, academics, and practitioners in neighboring countries including Korea.

In this paper, overseas criteria and research results were reviewed to develop a rational criterion proper to domestic airport runways on measurement of friction coefficient and removal of rubber deposit. The friction coefficients of the runways of the Incheon International Airport were measured by the ASFT(Airport Surface Friction Tester) from August 2007 to July 2009 and the data at intensively landed points were analyzed. Variation of the friction coefficient due to accumulation and removal of tire rubber was analyzed and seasonal influence on the variation were investigated by pavement types. The friction coefficient steadily decreased over a long term despite periodical removal of the rubber deposits. The variation of the friction coefficient in summer was larger than other seasons and asphalt pavement was more sensitive to the seasonal influence than concrete pavement. The friction coefficient of the asphalt pavement with macro texture was even larger than that of early age concrete pavement with micro texture. The variation of the friction coefficient of the asphalt pavement due to the deposit and removal of the tire rubber was also larger than that of the concrete pavement.

"지금도 해외 여행 중이신 것 같아요. 세상을 떠나셨다는 생각이 전혀 들지 않습니다." 삼흥문화인쇄사 고이평재사장의 미망인 박순자여사. 박여사는 지금도 남편이 공항에서 서울에 도착했다고 전화를 할 것 같다며 전화기를 슬쩍 바라본다. 그러면서도 남편이 세운 회사를 살려야 한다는 의지의 눈빛이 과거와는 사뭇 다르게 보인다. 기자가 불쑥 찾아가자 조금은 당황스러워 하면서도 사업가로 변신할 수 밖에 없었던 심정을 담담하게 이야기 할 정도로 외견상으로는 안정된 모습을 보인다. 남편의 갑작스런 사망으로 삼흥문화인쇄사 대표에 취임한 박여사는 지금은 '박순자사장'이라는 호칭이 어울릴 정도로 인쇄사업가로 변신해 가고 있으며 인쇄여성경제인협회 회원으로 활동하는 등 삼흥문화인쇄사를 지키는데 혼신을 다하고 있다.

On-arrival duty free will prevent Korean outbound passengers from keeping the duty free items they purchased at the departure during their travel. Most Korean tourists have requested the airport authority to install on-arrival duty free since the grand-opening of Incheon int'l airport. Considering the fierce hub airport competition in the North East Asian region, the Korean government's decision to install on-arrival duty free is regarded as a well-timed intervention. The purpose of the research was to analyze sales correlation based on a comparison of sales of both departure and on-arrival duty free and to propose an administrative implication. Compared to business conglomerates running departure duty free, on-arrival duty free operators, who are small or medium companies, have weakness in product composition, marketing, and merchandising capabilities. According to the analysis, outbound passengers, who purchased fashion accessories and leather products at the departure duty free, tended to purchase cosmetics/perfume or liquor on the arrival duty free. Such complementary purchasing behavior of passengers showed there is barely a negative correlation between departure and on-arrival duty free.

다양한 삶의 질이 높아진 지금 인천국제공항에서는 영유아와 함께 비행기를 탑승하는 가족구성원을 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 워라벨이 중시되고 긴 명절연휴를 맞아 해외 여행을 가는 것은 손쉬운 일이 되었다. 2013년 아시아나항공 213편 샌프란시스코 추락사고를 기억할 것이다. 당시 15개월 아기띠를 하고 있던 승객은 아기띠가 없었다면 아기를 잃었을 것이라는 인터뷰를 했다. 많은 국가가 영유아 안전벨트를 도입 및 장려를 하고 있지만, 아직 국내항공사는 영유아를 위한 안전벨트 도입에 소극적인 것을 알 수 있다. 유럽항공청 EASA에서 승인되어 사용하고 있는 영유아 안전벨트의 시스템을 살펴보고 예기치 못한 사고의 피해를 줄이기 위해 영유아 안전벨트의 필요성을 연구하고자 한다. 또한 도입에 따른 장애요인을 파악하고 대응 방안을 모색하여 국내항공사가 영유아 안전을 더욱 강화 할 수 있기를 기대한다.

This study is to clarify regional structure and connection of international physical distribution through clearance depot of Cheongju customs of inland location. The trade of clearance depot of Cheongju customs industrial characteristics reflects of territorial hinterland. As origins and destinations of freight as exports and imports region, territories of Cheongju customs trade mainly with Japan, China, and USA. Origin and destination of freight of Cheongju customs territory are hinterland and foreland of Incheon International Airport and Busan port. In case of export, foreland of Busan port is board, and in case of import, the hinterlands of Incheon International Airport and Busan port are similar. Clearance depot of inland-located Cheongju is construct by the advantages of rapidness and inexpensive cost. And the kind of freight and system of physical distribution of each enterprise show different characteristics. For each export and import freight, each shipper corporation has its own physical distribution system, and structure of international distribution is classified into export pattern of bonded industry and bonded warehouse. Again the patterns of bonded warehouse are distinguished free on board price system with division of labor in base of production in overseas, free on board price system, and cost-insurance-freight with division of labor in base of production in overseas. These Phenomena are caused by transaction between headquarter and its overseas corporation, initiative freight handling of export corporation, choice of inexpensive cost, and international convention.

CUPPS is the latest international standard passenger processing system which is operated with airlines' check-in system, DCS (Departure Control System) in order to provide check-in and boarding services to passengers. The CUPPS standard has been revised in August 2009 leading by IATA (International Air Transport Association) who recommends replacing old legacy common use system with CUPPS to airports and airlines around the world. IATA is expecting to reduce the installation and maintenance cost of CUPPS by standardizing various legacy common use systems and device controls. Airlines are also expecting to take advantage of the system to reduce the application development cost as developing only one standard CUPPS application instead of developing multiple applications for nonstandard legacy systems. This research which focuses on development completed AIRCUS, R&D project of ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs accomplished by IIA, will present the result of pilot trial and the effective approach methods to increase the possibility of expanding overseas business by comparing old legacy system with CUPPS to prove the dominance of CUPPS over the legacy systems as well as doing foreign case studies.
