Intercomparison of the Global Ocean Reanalysis Data (전지구 해양 재분석 자료 비교 분석)

  • This study summarized the results of the international ocean reanalysis intercomparison project. We introduced the characteristics of various ocean reanalysis systems and analyzed the assimilated performance on the typical eight oceanic variables (heat content, steric height, sea level, surface heat fluxes, mixed layer depth, subsurface salinity, depth of $20^{\circ}C$ isotherm, sea ice). In general, ensemble means show better estimations than those of any individual ocean reanalysis, but it depends on analyzed regions and variables. Among the eight oceanic variables, salinity and sea ice variabilities have large spreads among models. The deep sea, Southern Ocean, and coastal regions including western boundary current commonly appear as the areas with largest uncertainty between different objective analyses and assimilation models. We expect that intercomparison project for the ocean assimilation models independently operated in Korea should be processed, which allows us to join relevant international programs in the near future.

  • This paper studied the design VE (Value Engineering) process among the various methods to satisfy the requirement of user and cost saving in the overall redesign process for the Turn-key base construction project. This study has been estabilished the rational and practical analysis process with the stepwise by using the design VE process. The efficiency and safety were verified with the adoptian of computer simulation to cope with the problem of initial analysis and verification for design VE process in the large construction project. In the previous design VE process, there is a limitation for the analysis of design VE in the planing stage and the execution time period of the large construction project. The previous application of VE technique was only for the construction of harbor facilities, so there was no contribution of cost saving in the function and construction. However, this paper proposed the selection methodology of VE items and hence the redesign VE process can be efficiently improved. It can be also improved the process of functional analysis rationally and practically. About 4.6 billion won has been saved with applying to the harbor construction project with using the VE method proposed in this paper. The study gives the direction of VE to be accomplished efficiently in the similar project.

  • 현재 국제해사기구(IMO)를 중심으로 선박의 안전, 보안 및 해양환경 보호를 위해 선박 및 육상을 통합하는 전자항법 체계인 e-Navigation이 추진되고 있다. 특히 유럽의 여러 국가들이 IMO의 추진 진행 과정을 따라 실제로 e-Navigation을 해상에 구현하기 위한 여러 프로젝트들을 진행하고 있으며 그 결과들이 일부 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IMO에서 진행 중인 e-Navigation의 현황을 살펴보고 VTS 관점에서 향후 e-Navigation으로 인해 변화할 기능 또는 서비스들에 대해 검토하였다.

Design of Web Retrieval Component for Marine Leisure Information Database (해양레저정보 데이터베이스 구축을 위한 웹 탐색 컴포넌트 설계)

  • According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server(CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval component which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that. So, we wish to develop web retrieval agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.

  • 마리타임 클라우드는 이네비게이션 실증 사례로써 통신 프레임워크를 지원하는 오픈소스 프로젝트이다. 마리타임 클라우드는 해양이해관계자들 사이의 안전한 정보교환을 제공하며 해양 서비스에 대한 관리를 지원한다. 그러나 마리타임 클라우드를 처음 접하는 개발자들에게 시스템을 이해하고 사용하기까지 많은 시간과 선행 작업이 요구된다. 이러한 점을 고려해 본 논문에서는 마리타임 클라우드에 쉽게 접근할 수 있고 초기비용을 감소시킬 수 있는 개발 지원 클래스를 설계하고 구현한다. 개발 지원 클래스는 마리타임 클라우드 접속과정과 메시지 전달기능인 MMS 관련 함수를 제공한다. 개발 지원 클래스를 이용하여 메시지 교환 프로그램을 구현하고 메시지 전달이 성공적으로 이루어졌는지 테스트한다.

This paper is introduced a case for applying to maritime software development using the tool that is capable of real-time monitoring and automated documentation. Also, It is discussed the improvement of procedures for applying the expected effects and maritime SQA for the tool utilization. The Development of customized tools for maritime SQA that is reflected an improved procedure for tool is the future goals.

  • This study aimed to discover the affective ability of students by applying a thematic project model concerning the marine field unit of science for third grade middle school students from among diverse methods of realizing STEAM education. Also, based on this, STEAM education is a new type of learning including the process of exploring by oneself, presenting, discussing and mutually evaluating by becoming an independent person in learning As the results of the study are as follows: First, the STEAM class applied with a thematic project model was discovered to promote a learning attitude toward science by learners. Second, the STEAM class applied with a thematic project model was shown to be effective in improving the self-directed learning characteristics of learners. Third, STEAM education applied with a thematic project model was found to promote learners' motivation for learning science. This may be an effective method for learners who have felt difficulty in the science curriculum or have not been interested in the curriculum by triggering voluntary motivation.
