A Study on the Application of TRS Communication System for the Small Fishing SHIP (소형어선과의 통신을 위한 TRS 통신방식의 도입에 관한 연구)

  • The SSB(Single Side Band) communication in the 27MHz band has mainly been using between fishiery station and small fishing ship less than 101ons, but the most of small fishing ship are depend on cellular system. When accident for small ship at sea happens, It's very important to communicate continuously for preventing the collision and taking action. At present it is hard to control small fishing ship and provide information properly by using 27MHz SSB channel. Therefore in this paper We present TRS communication system applied for small fishing ship to protect the safety and life at sea and to prepare for emmergency, and also validate it's application.

  • This study describes and discusses the marine accidents investigation & inquiry system of Korea, U.K., U.S.A., the Netherlands and Japan. As the results of the comparison of them, the following recommendations are made with respect to improve the system in Korea. (1) The Agency should be independent from the central Government with respect to the budged, personnel management and a agency building. (2) The inspection function and judgment function should be divided into separate Agency. (3) The Agency should has a recommendation right to Government agency according to the results of investigation. (4) The composition of inspectors & judges must be diversified including navigation, marine engineering and naval architecture background. (5) The Agency should have co-operative system with the Marine Police Agency. (6) International affairs division should be included in the Agency to promote international relations.

  • 선박의 해난에 의한 해양오염사고 발생시, 해양경찰은 민관 방제세력의 동원 및 방제조치, 방제지원시스템을 운용 등을 통하여 신속하고 체계적인 방제전략을 수립 시행함으로써, 사고로 인한 해양환경 피해를 최소화하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2006년 7월 전북 군산시 새만금방조제 인근 해상에서 침몰한 700톤급 준설선 GA-P1 호에 대한 선체인양 및 해양오염사고 처리 과정에서 방제지원시스템을 이용한 대응 사례이다.

  • The engine room of ship is a synthetic system being composed of many machineries. Therefore, the reliability and safety of the all system of machinery is as important as each machine. In this paper, in order to reudce engine troubles while operation and to contribute in developing a high reliable marine engine the author analysed the factors of marine engine troubles by principal com-ponent analysis method. Analysed data are marine engine troubles of sea casualties from 1980 to 1985. It is found that the major part of marine engine troubles resulted from personal mistake, and also the troubles of shaft, propeller and cylinder occupied considerable proportion.

  • The basis of all approaches to improve reliability of marine engines exists in analyzing the field data of troubles and failures in marine engines. In this paper, we analyzed the engine accidents of Korean fishing vessels for five years from 1995 to 1999, firstly according to engine systems, type of fishing vessels, engine makers, cylinder number, engine power and tonnage, secondly by using of principal component analysis method, one of multi-variate data analysis method. Finally, we proposed the measures to reduce engine accidents of fishing vessels for improvement of an environment in fishing industry.

  • 해상 사고 시 지상에서 통상적으로 사용하는 빛이나 전파가 투과하지 못하는 수중에서 수중 음향을 이용해 수백 m 이상의 원거리에서 실종자나 화물의 위치를 추적하기 위해 요구되는 조건들을 분석하고 이를 실증하기 위해 인체에 부착 가능한 크기의 소형 수중 음향 송신기와 이를 찾기 위해 수색 작전에 사용하는 수신기가 제작됐다. 이를 사용해 서해 상에서 1km 거리에서 음향 신호 수신을 확인했고 실제 현장에서 적용되기 위해 필요한 개선점들을 정리했다.
