자율운항선박 입출항지원시스템의 연동 구조 설계 및 시뮬레이션 기반 시험 환경 개발

  • 선박의 입출항을 위해서는 항만 시설과의 유기적 연계가 필요하며 이는 자율운항선박에도 마찬가지로 적용된다. 항만 인근의 복잡한 해상교통 상황과, 정박지나 항로 등 항계 내에서 고려해야할 추가적인 환경 조건들은 자율운항선박의 운항의 난이도를 높이며, 항만의 시간/공간적 자원들을 고려하는 가운데 입출항을 수행하는 것은 자율운항선박과 항만 시설과의 연계를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 스마트항만과 자율운항선박의 연계를 통해 안전한 입출항을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 입출항지원시스템의 연동 구조 설계 결과와 이에 대한 시뮬레이션 시험 환경 구축 결과를 다룬다.

  • 우리나라 연안해역에 급증하는 해상풍력단지 등 대규모 해양개발 행위로 인해 무분별한 해역을 점용하게 됨에 따라, 과거 관습적으로 이용해오는 해상교통로와 상충되어 발생하는 사회적 충돌이 문제가 되고 있다. 특히, 선박 대형화 및 자동화, 자율운항선박 등장 등 해상교통환경 변화에 따라 안전한 연안 해상교통환경 조성이 시급한 상황이다. 모든 연안해역의 해상교통 흐름 및 교통밀집도 분석에 따른 관습적 해상교통망을 식별하고, 이를 지정·구축하고자, 빅데이터 및 지리정보시스템(GIS) 기반 해양공간분석기법을 활용하여 검토 및 분석하였다. 이렇게 분석 및 식별된 결과는 DB화하여 디지털 GIS 관리시스템과 연계하도록 추진중이다.

A Study on the Tele-controller System of Navigational Aids Using Hybrid Communication (하이브리드 통신을 이용한 항로표지의 원격관리 제어시스템에 관한 연구)

  • A fabricated hybrid control board using multi-communication is designed with a low power 8-bit microcontroller, ATxmega128A1. The microcontroller consists of 8 UART (Universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter) ports, 2 kbytes EEPROM, 128 kbytes flash memory, 8 kbytes SRAM. The 8 URAT ports are used for a multi-communication modem, a GPS module, etc. The EEPROM is used for saving a configuration for running programs, and the flash memory of 128 kbytes is used for storing a F/W (Firm Ware), and the 8 kbytes SRAM is used for stack and for storing memory of global variables while running programs. If we use the multi-communication of CDMA, TRS and RF to remotely control Aid to Navigation, it is able to remove the communication shadow area. Even though there is a shadow area for an individual communication method, we can select an optimal communication method. The compatibility of data has been enhanced as using of same data frame per communication device. For the test, 8640 of data have been collected from each buoy during 30 days in every 5 minutes and the receiving rate of the data has shown more than 85 %.

  • A support system which allows operator to check the condition of a vessel and to warn the sea risk in order to prevent accidents of leisure boats, is required. Therefore, this paper proposes a navigational safety support system to ensure the safety of vessels by monitoring and managing the status of those ships. In developing a system process, each developed equipment is integrated and verified whether the functional, compositional and operational algorithms are working properly according to the designed object.

  • 통합항해시스템이라 함은 자동화된 선박의 운용에 관한 것으로, 다양한 항해 센서(GPS, Gyro, Speed Log, echo sounder)를 이용하여 선박의 항해에 필요한 각종 정보를 입수하여 최적의 항로를 설정해주고, 운항의 안정성과 효율을 극대화시키는 시스템을 지칭한다. 즉, 선박의 운항에 필요한 다수의 모듈들을 독립적으로 운용하는 것이 아니라 이를 통합된 형태로 운용하여 효율을 극대화시키는 시스템이 통합항해시스템이라 할 수 있다. 통합항해시스템은 다양한 항해 센서들과 항해 시스템으로 구성되며, 다양한 항해 데이터들은 항해 센서로부터 수신하여 처리하는 동작을 수행한다. 즉, 통합항해시스템은 다수의 센서들로부터 수신된 정보를 평가하고 잠재적 위험과 무결성 저하에 대해서는 적절한 경고를 제공하여야한다. 따라서, 항해센서 데이터의 유효성(Validity) 및 모호성(Plausibility) 검사와 무결성 감시(Integrity Monitoring)는 통합항해시스템의 필수적 기능이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 IEC 61924 규격에 의한 항해센서로부터 수신된 항해데이터가 정확하고 유효함을 가지는 지에 대한 가치평가의 척도와 독립적인 데이터 소스로부터 데이터를 비교하여 검증하는 무결성, 정확도 이내의 정보를 완전하고 명확한 방법으로 사용자에게 제공하는 무결성 감시의 방법을 제시하며, 항해센서들에 의해 취득되는 항해 데이터의 무결성 검사를 통한 유효성, 적용가능성, 무결성의 평가방법을 기술한다.

  • The prospect in opening the arctic trade transportation route on a year-round basis offers vast opportunity of exploring untapped resources and shortened navigational routes. In addition, the environment's remoteness and lack of technical experiences remains a big challenge for the maritime industry. With this, engine designers and makers are continually investigating, specifically optimizing propulsion shafting system design, to meet the environmental and technical challenges of the region. The International Association of Classification Society, specifically machinery requirements for polar class ships(IACS UR13), embodies the propulsion shafting design requirements for ice class vessels. However, the necessity to upgrade the various features of the unified rules in meeting current polar requirements is acknowledged by IACS and other classification societies. For the polar class propulsion shafting system, it is perceived that the main source of excitation will be the propeller - ice load interaction. The milling - and the impact load, in addition to the load cases interpreted by IACS, contribute greatly to the overall characteristic of the system and due considerations are given during the propulsion design stage. This paper will expound on the excitation load estimation factors affecting the dynamic response of the different propulsion shafting system design. It is anticipated that detailed understanding of these factors will have a significant role during propulsion shafting design in the future.

  • The high tech marine transportation infrastructure is an innovative transportation infrastructure that may be able to secure a safe transportation environment as well as efficient operation by connecting up-to-date skills including a broad range of wire and wireless communication-based information, control and electronics technologies. When integrated into the marine transportation infrastructure by the standard requirements, these standard technologies help monitoring and managing navigational aids. This paper defined a concept of middleware in the marine traffic management systems which gives characteristics of system independency, scalability, extensibility, and researches a functionality of the middleware and a software block of the middleware.

  • Until a recent date Wan-do Port have been made efforts to advance its marine policy toward the base of marine distribution industry. Therefore the administration of Wan-do port have been carried out many projects on improvements of harbour system very actively. The improvement of ship traffic system would be one of them. This research examined the general view of present situations of marine traffic system in Wan-do waters area and suggested improvements in ship route and anchorage.

  • This study designed a ship energy efficiency monitoring system based on a ship application system that provides maritime services by utilizing data collected onboard, and a ship-land integration system for integrated management and exchange of maritime data. The ship energy efficiency monitoring system was developed as a Windows application program and designed to use file based EDI communications. Its main functions include route planning to minimize fuel consumption, monitoring of energy consumption and gas emissions, analysis of ship energy efficiency and other data analysis. The system has been successfully implemented in actual ships.
