3D Facial Modeling and Synthesis System for Realistic Facial Expression (자연스러운 표정 합성을 위한 3차원 얼굴 모델링 및 합성 시스템)

  • Realistic facial animation research field which communicates with human and computer using face has increased recently. The human face is the part of the body we use to recognize individuals and the important communication channel that understand the inner states like emotion. To provide the intelligent interface. computer facial animation looks like human in talking and expressing himself. Facial modeling and animation research is focused on realistic facial animation recently. In this article, we suggest the method of facial modeling and animation for realistic facial synthesis. We can make a 3D facial model for arbitrary face by using generic facial model. For more correct and real face, we make the Korean Generic Facial Model. We can also manipulate facial synthesis based on the physical characteristics of real facial muscle and skin. Many application will be developed such as teleconferencing, education, movies etc.

Embedding a Signature to Pictures under Wavelet Transformation (웨이브렛변환을 이용한 영상으로의 서명데이터 삽입)

  • This paper is to suggest the method of embedding a signature to pictures secretly under the orthogonal wavelet transform which represents pictures as multi-resolution representations. As it is focused upon the differential output under the multi-resolution representation of pictures, this method can embed bit series to pictures. In doing so, it can compound approximately 6K byte of information with gray-level image $256{\times}256$. The method can include not only the database which designates copyright of pictures but also the author and usage of pictures, and the information of the picture itself. Therefore, this method can easily discriminate the inspection of picture database.

Synthesis of Photoresist Using Environmental-benign Supercritical $CO_2$ Processes (환경친화적인 초임계 이산화 탄소 공정을 이용한 포토레지스트의 합성)

  • The requirement for a much finer line width circuits on semiconductors needs new developers such as supercritical fluid to prevent the collapse of the photoresist micro-patterns. The copolymers contain t-butyl methacrylate having an acid-cleavable t-butyl group and supercritical fluid $CO_2$ soluble perfluorinated decyl methacrylate segments. The supercritical fluid $CO_2$-philic properties of the photoresist changed to supercritical fluid $CO_2$-phobic properties after the deprotection reaction by exposure, which made the exposed resist insoluble in the supercritical fluid $CO_2$ developer. The synthesized copolymers containing more than 30% of perfluorinated decyl methacrylate were found to be soluble in supercritical fluid $CO_2$. The variation of film thickness before and after exposure was largest when the mole ratio of perfluorinated decyl methacrylate in the copolymer was 30%.

  • 4.8kbps 내외의 전송률에서 양호한 음질을 제공하는 CELP 계열 음성 부호화기 중에서 인터넷 폰 및 화상회의를 목적으로 개발된 G.723.1은 5.3kbps ACELP(Algebraic CELP)와 6.3kbps MP-MLQ(Multi-Pulse Maximum Likelihood Quantization) 두 개의 부호화기를 포함하고 있다[1]. 이 중 MP-MLQ는 고정 코드북 검색 시 많은 계산량으로 인해 실시간 구현에 어려움이 따르고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 유/무성음을 분리한 후 grid bit를 먼저 결정하여 코드북을 검색하는 방법 제안한다. LSP 파라미터의 분포특성을 이용하여 유/무성음을 분리한 후 무성음에 대해서는 스펙트럼 정보만 전송하고 유성음에 대해서만 코드북 검색을 수행한다. 그리고 코드북 검색 시 Grid bit를 먼저 결정하여 수행하였다. Grid bit는 짝/홀수번째 전체 펄스를 이용하여 합성한 합성음과 DC 성분이 제거된 원음과의 비교를 통하여 결정하였다. 실험 결과 전체 처리시간은 평균적으로 약 $20.55\%$ 감소하였으며 주관적 음질평가 결과 음질 열하는 거의 발생하지 않았다.

Photosensitive Polyimides Having Aromatic Sulfonyloxyimide Groups in the Main Chain (주쇄에 광분해성 방향족 술포닐옥시이미드기를 함유한 감광성 폴리이미드)

  • Photosensitive polyimides having cyclobutane or phenyl and aromatic sulfonyloxyimide units in the main chain have been synthesized and the photodegradation behavior was investigated in relation with the polymer structure. The polyimides were prepared by condensation polymerization of N-hydroxyl and sulfonyl chloride. The prepared polyimides were stable up to 25$0^{\circ}C$ without thermal degradation. It has been found that the photodegradation of polyimides upon irradiation of 254 nm UV light results from scission of N-O bonds or ring opening of imides moiety by spectroscopic measurements. The polyimides were useful as positive working photodegradable polymers. Especially, the positive tone image of polyimide containing a pyromellitic diimide moiety exhibited high sensitivity and resolution.

  • 바이오트라이보로지(biotribology)란 생물학(biology)와 마찰학(tribology)의 합성어로서 그리이스어의 $\tau\rhoc\betao\sigma$(마찰하다)가 어원이며, 마찰 마모 윤활의 학술 용어 "tribology"가 영어로 된것은 1966년이다. 이때 마찰학이란 이학 또는 공학현상으로서 문제를 해석하는데 한정하였고 생물에 대한 문제까지 광범위하게 고려하지 못하였다. 1972년 영국 석유학회, 기계학회 그리고 Rheology 학회의 공동개최로 "윤활제의 레올로지" 회의가 열렸다. 거기서 Dowson 교수(기계공학)와 Right 교수(루마치스 의학)의 공동논문 "Bio-Tribology"를 발표해서 처음으로 그 용어를 제안하였다. Dowson 교수가 열거했던 바이오트라이보로지의 대상은 다음과 같다.   • 본 연구에서는, 초음파 단층 화상 장치의 구현을 목적으로, 횡 진동모드의 초음파 트랜스듀서를 원통 내부 벽면에 배열하고 송신부와 수신부를 선택적으로 구동하는 방식의 진단용 초음파 토모그래피의 데이터 송수신부를 제작하였다. 제작된 원통형 트랜스듀서 어레이의 평가를 위해, 각 소자의 주파수특성을 확인하였다. 또한, 원통형 트랜스듀서 어레이의 구동부의 각 진동소자에 적절한 지연시간을 부여하여 음장을 측정한 결과, 양호한 합성평면파가 방사됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Web camera is usually used for video communication between PC, it has small sensing area, cannot using long exposure application, so that is insufficient for astronomical application. But web camera is suitable for bright planet, moon, it doesn't need long exposure time. So many amateur astronomer using web camera for planetary imaging. We used ToUcam manufactured by Phillips for planetary imaging and Registax commercial program for a video file combining. And then, we are measure a property of web camera, such as linearity, gain that is usually using for analysis of CCD performance. Because of using combine technic selected high quality image from video frame, this method on take higher resolution planetary imaging than one shot image by film, digital camera and CCD. We describe a planetary observing method and a video frame combine method.

  • This paper proposes a real-time foreground segmentation and background substitution method for protecting the privacy on visual communication. Previous works on this topic have some problems with the color and shape of foreground and the capture device such as stereo camera. we provide a solution which can segment the foreground in real-time using fixed mono camera. For improving the performance of a foreground extraction, we propose the Temporal Foreground Probability Model (TFPM) by modeling temporal information of a video. Also we provide an boundary processing method for natural and smooth synthesizing that using alpha matte and simple post-processing method.

Synthesis and Characterization of New Positive Type Photosensitive Poly(amic acid)s (신규 양성형 감광성 폴리암산의 합성 및 특성 연구)

  • Polyamic acid (PAA) was prepared from cyclobutane-1,2,3,4-tetracarboxylic dianhydride (CBDA) and 4,4'-fiaminodiphenyl ether (DDE). In order to impart a photosensitivity to the PAA, diazonaphthoquinone (DNQ) derivative (DI) was added. However, the addition of the DI was not enough to inhibit the dissolution of the PAA for a aqueous alkal solution. Therefore, we had synthesized poly(amic acid ester)s by an adding 1,2-epoxy-3-phenoxypropane to the PAA. That is, an acidity of the PAA could be controlled by an esterification reaction of 1,2-epoxy-3-phenoxypropane with the PAA. Significant difference of a dissolution rate of the poly(amic acid ester) between an o(posed and unexposed area was observed at an acid content of 60% and less. Resolution of the positively patterned film showed about $25{\mu}m$ at the exposure dose of $200mJ/cm^2$.
