Syntheses and Characterization of Polyurethane Polymers with Versatile Stilbene Chromophores (Stilbene 발광 유도체를 가지는 Polyurethane을 기본으로 하는 고분자의 합성 및 특성)

  • In this research, we have synthesized new pendant-type polyurethane polymers by introducing various chromophores with stilbene derivatives in the side-chain of the polymer backbone. The Stilbene monomers, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino-4'-cyanostilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4'-methoxy stilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4'-acetylstilbene, and N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino stilbene, were synthesized by Wittig reaction. Another stilbene monomer, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4'-nitrostilbene, was synthesized by Knoevenagel condensation. By the measurement of UV-Vis absorption and Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum, we found that introduction of the electron-withdrawing group as a substituent shifts both UV-Vis and PL spectra to longer wavelength, and the introduction of the electron-donating group results in blue-shift of the spectrum. In case of polymer with $NO_2$ group as a substituent, PL is quenched.

  • Human leukocyte elastase(HLE)는 폐와 피부, 혈관등의 Connective tissue의 주요 구성물인 elastin을 분해하는 효소로써, 백혈구의 식균작용에도 관여한다. 그러나 이효소가 과다하게 분비되면 pulmonary emphysema와 adult respiratory distress syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis를 유발한다고 알려지고 있다. 지금까지 HLE억제제로 시판되는 의약품은 없으나, 최근에 Cephalosporin유도체가 이 효소의 억제제로 우수한 효과가 있다는 보고가 있은 후, HLE억제제로써 이들의 유도체가 개발되고 있다. 연구자들은 다음일반식에서 2번과 3번위치에 치환기를 도입시킨 수종의 Cephalosporin Sulfone의 유도체들을 합성하고. 이들의 HLE억제 효과를 Spectrophotometerqkdtlr을 이용하여 측정하였다. 합성화합물증 몇가지는 우수한 HLE억제효과를 보여주었고, 2번위치에 diphenylcyclopropyl ring과 같은 부피가 큰 치환체를 도입하면 효소억제력이 증가되었다.

항바이러스 작용이 기대되는 6-azauridine의 acyclic 및 cyclic phosphate 유도체의 합성

  • 항바이러스 작용을 기대하여 6-azauridine의 2',3'-seco 유도체와 이들의 cyclic phosphate 유도체를 합성하였다. 6-azauridine으로부터 periodate oxidation에 의해 2',3'위치를 개열, 환원하여 얻은 triol의 3',5'위치를 acetonide 형으로 보호한 후 2'위치를 tosylation, azidation 하고 deprotection하여 2'-azido-2',3'-seco 유도체 (1)를 얻었다. 2',3'-diazido-2',3'-seco 유도체(2)는 6-azauridine의 2',3'-위치를 먼저 보호한후 5'위치를 benzoylation, 2',3'-deprotection, periodate oxidation 개열로 얻은 diol을 tosyl화 azido화 하고 deprotection하여 얻었다. 5'-azido-2',3'-seco 유도체(3)는 화합물 (2)의 합성시와 동일하게 먼저 2',3'-acetonide로 한후 5'-위치를 tosyl화, azido화 하고 deprotection, 2',3'-perodate 산화 개열등으로 얻었다. cyclic phosphate 유도체 (4)는 상기화합물 (2)를 4-NPPDC로 처리하여 3',5'-p-nitrophenylphosphoryltrioxy 유도체 (5)를 얻고 이것으로부터 3',5'-phosphoryltrioxy 유도체의 ammonium salt(4)를 얻었다. 이들 화합물의 DNA 및 RNA virus에 대한 antiviral activity는 현재 수행중이다.

  • The synthesis of pyrrolidone-N-sulfonyl chloride has been carried out by the reaction of pyrrolidone with sulfuryl chloride in benzene. It was attempted to study the catalytic effect of pyrroldone-N-sulfonyl chloride as an initiator for anionic polymerization of pyrrolidone. It was found that as a concentration of initiator decreased, inherent viscosity of the resulting polymer increased up to 1.8 dl/g. The highest rate of polymerization and equilibrium conversion was observed when mole ratio of PNSC to KOH was 0.25. In general, the observed value of polymerization and equilibrium conversion in circumstances using PNSC/KOH catalysis system were higher than using $CO_2$/KOH catalysis system.

Analysis of a Load Carrying Behavior of Shear Connection at the Interface of the Steel-Concrete Composite Beam (합성보 전단연결부의 구조거동에 대한 비교 분석)

  • The connection of the slab with the steel beam and thus, the transmission of shear force at the interface of the steel-concrete composite beams is achieved with shear connectors, in general, with shear studs. The composite action through these shear studs has a significant influence on the load carrying behavior of the composite beams. The load carrying capacity of studs is determined through push-out tests. At present, the transferability of this load carrying capacity of studs to composite beams, especially in cases of partial interaction, is being questioned by experimental and theoretical investigations. In this study, a finite element model for the simulation of the behavior of the standard push-out specimen and the composite beams without the implementation of the load-slip curve of the stud connectors from the push-out test is developed. The load carrying behavior of the studs in the composite beams is estimated and compared with the results of the push-out test. The reason for the difference in the load carrying behavior of the studs in the push-out test specimen and in the composite beams is found.

  • 음성처리기술은 정보화 시대를 위한 주요 기술의 하나이다. 이 중에서도 음성합성의 연구는 디지털 신호처리 기술과 컴퓨터의 발달로 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 음성 합성기에 의해 발생된 합성음의 음질은 이해도 면에서는 상당한 진전이 있었지만, 자연감 면에서는 만족한 수준에 도달할 수 없었는데, 이러한 합성시스템의 문제점을 해결하는 방법은 다양하게 적용되는 언어정보와 합성음의 자연감을 결정하는 정확한 운율정보가 필요하다. 그러나 구한 운율 정보가 자연음에 존재하는 모든 운율 법칙을 포함할 수 없고, 또한 추출한 운율 법칙이 틀린 것이면 자연감이나 이해도가 떨어지는 합성음이 만들어지고 이것은 음성 합성 시스템의 실용화에 장애로 작용할 것이다. 본 논문은 한국어 음성 합성 시 문제가 되는 자연감을 높이기 위한 한 방법으로 자연음에 내재하는 운율 변화를 효율적으로 학습할 수 있는 인공 신경망을 제안하였다.

A Study on the strength evaluation for T-type Composite Beam (T형 합성보의 내력평가에 관한 연구)

  • Composite action can be achieved by providing shear connectors between the steel top flange and concrete topping. Composite sections are stiffer than the sum of the individual stiffness of slab and beam. They can therefore carry heavier loads or similar loads with appreciably smaller deflection. They are also less prone to transient vibration. In this study, T-type Steel Composite beam (TSC-beam) was developed and tested. The test results of TSC beam were compared with the theoretical results based on composite actions.

  • 합성윤활유(synthetic lubricant)라 함음 현재까지도 계속되고 있는 광유(mineral oil)전성시대의 광유에 대응되는 말로써 광유계 윤활유로 부터 얻기 어려운 높은 점도지수, 낮은 저온 유동성 등의 특성을 얻기 위해 유기합성 방법에 의해 인위적으로 제조한 윤활유의 총칭이며 작용기의 종류, 합성방법, 등에 따라 다양하게 분류된다. 합성윤활유의 종류에는 합성방법에 따라 폴리머형(P형), 비포리머형(N형)으로 대별되는데, 폴리머형 합성유에는 Poly-butene, $Poly\alpha$-olefin, Polyalkylenglycol, Silicon oil, Chlorofluorocarbon, Perfluoroalkyl polyether등이 있으며, 비폴리머형 합성유에는 Alkylbenzene, Dibasicacidester, Polyolester, Silicate-ester Polyphenylether, Complex ester등이 포함된다. 전자의 경우에는 중합반응 조건을 조절하므로써 여러점도 등급의 합성유들을 얻을 수 있는 반면 후자의 경우에는 분자량이 크지 않으므로 저점도의 것만 얻어지는 것이 특징이다.

Characterization of the Stigma side Self-incompatibility Genes in a Self-compatible Brassica oleracea (자가화합성 양배추의 주두측 자가불화합성 유전자 해석)

  • In Brassica, S locus glycoprotein (SLG) and S locus receptor kinase (SRK) genes function together for self-recognition in the self-incompatibility response. In addition, a water channel called aquaporins (MOD) is required for the self-incompatibility response. In this study, we isolated the SC-SLG, SC-SRK, and SC-MOD genes from a self-compatible line of B. oleracea. In the self-compatible line, the SC-SLG, SC-SRK, and SC-MOD genes showed the highest degree of sequence similarity with published data and to normal expression by RT-PCR. Therefore, it can be concluded that the SCR/SP11 gene of the B. oleracea pollen may not function and/or that mutations may occur in genes for self-incompatibility that are not linked to the S locus region.

An Experimental Study of Perfobond FRP-Concrete Composite Beam (퍼포본드 FRP-콘크리트 합성보의 실험적 연구)

  • An experimental study of composite beam with perforated fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) plank as a permanent formwork and the tensile reinforcement was performed. A combined formwork and reinforcement system can facilitate rapid construction of concrete members since no conventional formwork is needed, which requires time consuming assembly and dismantling. In order for a smooth FRP plank to act compositely with the concrete, the surface of the FRP needs to be treated to increase its bond properties. Aggregates were bonded to the FRP plank using a commercially available epoxy and perforated web of plank. No additional flexural or shear reinforcement was provided in the beams. For comparison, two control specimens were tested. One control had no perforated hole in the web of FRP plank and the other had internal steel reinforcing bars instead of the FRP plank. The beams were loaded by central patch load to their ultimate capacity. This study demonstrates that the perforated FRP plank has the potential to serve as a permanent formwork and reinforcing for concrete beam.
