병원 경쟁의 심화와 의료시장 개방에 시달리고 있는 한방병원이 논리적이고 체계적인 한방 병원 시스템 구축은 매우 중요한 일이다. 디지털 한방 병원 구축은 의료 서비스 향상과 병원 관리의 효율성을 최대화시키기 일이다. 본 논문은 한방의료 분야와 IT기술의 접목하여 디지털 한방병원 구축을 위한 유무선 기반의 한방의료 CRM 시스템을 개발한다.

Bertolotti's syndrome is a rare spinal disease and it is known to cause low back pain due to a lumbosacral transitional vertebra. There has been rare study of Bertolotti's syndrome. This study reports the effects of Korean medicine treatment on the patient who was diagnosed on Bertolotti's syndrome. The patient was treated with Korean medicine treatment including acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicine, and Chuna manual therapy during 40 days. Numerical rating scale (NRS), Euroqol five dimension (EQ-5D) index, Oswestry disability index (ODI), lumbar range of motion were used for assessment. After treatment, low back pain NRS decreased from 3 to 2, and low limb pain NRS decreased from 5 to 2. EQ-5D index, ODI and lumbar range of motion also were improved. This study shows Korean medicine treatment can be an effective care for Bertolotti's syndrome.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to review the status of numeric rating scale (NRS) usage and suggest the potential for use in multicenter retrospective studies of various diseases. Methods: Articles published from 2011 to 2021 that used the keywords "NRS", "Multi-center", and "RCT" were identified in foreign databases, including EMBASE, PubMed, CENTRAL. The articles were analyzed according to their use of "NRS" by symptoms and by disease group using the major classifications of the Korean Standard Classification of Diseases (KCD-7). Results: Classification by symptom in a total of 288 articles illustrates that the NRS was not only commonly used in pain evaluation but also for non-pain symptoms. In usage with non-pain symptoms, chief complaint of patients was the most common at 79%, and other factors included treatment satisfaction, evaluation of daily life, and sleep quality. In disease classification according to the KCD-7, the NRS was commonly used in connection with musculoskeletal and connective tissue diseases but was also utilized in various other disease groups. Conclusions: This study confirms usage of the NRS in multi-center RCTs, as the NRS was widely used in all types of diseases and symptoms. Considering the result and the advantages of the NRS, it is recommended for use as a daily evaluation tool for the collection of common data in multicenter retrospective studies.

The purpose of this study is to report the effects of Korean medicine treatment on the gait disorder. Patient with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-associated disorder. We treated the patient using Korean medicine treatment including Motion-Style-Acupuncture-Treatment, pharmacopuncture, acupuncture, and herbal medicine during 30 days. Numerical rating scale (NRS), EuroQol five dimension (EQ-5D) index, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Modified Barthel Index (MBI), and the changes of symptoms were measured for assessment. After 30 days inpatient treatment, NRS decreased from 4 to 2, EQ-5D index, ODI, MBI, and the symptoms of the patient also were improved. In conclusion, this case shows Korean medicine treatment might be an effective treatment for gait disorder Patient with MOG-associated disorder.

본 논문은 경영환경이 어려워지고 있는 우리나라 대학부속 한방병원의 수익변화를 재무제표 분석을 통해 살펴봄으로써 한방병원 경영자 및 관계자들에게 의사결정에 필요한 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 2008년과 2010년을 비교한 결과, 조사대상 한방병원의 총자산 감소, 부채증가 그리고 총의료수익 감소와 지속적인 병원적자 등을 알 수 있었으며, 자기자본비율이 높고 차입금의존도가 낮아 전체적으로 경영상태가 양호한 것으로 나타나지만 일부 병원은 심각한 경영난을 겪었으며 이를 일시적으로 극복하기 위하여 단기차입금에 의존하고 있음이 파악되었다. 총자본수익률과 고유목적사업적립금 및 전출금 등이 고려된 총자본의료이익률은 시중금리 수준이었으나 병원간 편차가 심하며 3년 연속 (-)인 병원이 6개, 매출액의료이익률이 (-)인 병원도 10개로 나타나 수익성에 문제가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 한편 대학부속 한방병원 중 총자본과 자기자본이 감소한 병원이 늘어났고 병원 간에도 큰 차이가 있었다. 병원의 자기자본이 감소한 것은 한방병원의 성장이 크게 위축되고 있음을 의미한다. 총자본회전수는 우리나라 한방병원과 3차 의료기관 보다도 낮아 대학부속 한방병원의 활동성이 떨어짐을 보였다. 자기자본회전수는 총자본회전수보다 높았고, 타인자본 비율은 높지 않았으나 병원 간 편차가 컸다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report on the efficacy of Korean medical treatment for treating menopausal vasomotor symptoms (heat flashes and sleep disorders). Methods: We treated a menopausal female patient with heat flashes and sleep disorders using Korean medical treatments (herbal medicines, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, moxibustion, and chuna). To evaluate the results of this treatment, we used Kupperman's Index and the Numerical Rating Scale to measure heat flashes and total sleeping time, respectively. The patient's general health status was evaluated using the European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions Scale. Results: We observed improvements in Kupperman's Index, the Numerical Rating Scale, the patient's total sleeping time, and the European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions Scale following the treatments. Conclusions: This study suggests that Korean medicine may be an effective treatment for menopausal vasomotor symptoms (heat flashes and sleep disorders).

Objective: The aim of this case report was to describe the effects of traditional Korean medicine on a patient suffering from central dizziness caused by a lateral medullary infarction Methods: The patient was given a series of Korean medicine therapy treatments, including Jeseubsungi-tang, acupuncture, and cupping, for 37 days. We measured the progress of this case using a numerical rating scale (NRS). Results: After the treatment, the NRS score for dizziness decreased, and the headache almost completely subsided. Conclusions: This clinical case study indicated that Jeseubsungi-tang could be effective in relieving central dizziness and headache caused by lateral medullary infarction.

This study examined the clinical effects of Korean medicine therapy in a patient with hypopharyngeal cancer treated with chemotherapy. A 53-year-old male patient suffering from hypopharyngeal cancer was treated with docetaxel as well as acupuncture and herbal medicine. Tumor size was measured by computed tomography (CT) and adverse events were evaluated according to the National Cancer Institute's Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (NCI-CTCAE) version 5.0. After two months of combined treatment, the size of the tumor mass was reduced at the left side of the neck, posterior to the CCA and at the lymph node in the left retropharyngeal area and medial aspect of the carotid sheath. The adverse events of chemotherapy also improved. This study indicates that Korean medicine therapy, such as acupuncture and herbal medicine, may lessen the side effects of chemotherapy and may be effective in the treatment of hypopharyngeal cancer.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to report the efficacy of using Korean medicine treatment with cervicogenic dizziness and headache. Methods: We used Korean medicine treatments (herbal medicines, acupuncture, pharmaco-acupuncture, and Chuna) to treat a hospitalized patient with cervicogenic dizziness and headache. The treatments were assessed using the Korean Dizziness Handicap Inventory (K-DHI) to evaluate the degree of dizziness. The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) was used to evaluate headaches and post-traumatic neck pain. General health status was evaluated using the European Quality of Life Five Dimensions (EQ-5d) scale. Results: The patient's NRS and EQ-5d scores improved after treatment. The change in the K-DHI scores showed that the patient's cervicogenic dizziness symptoms were relieved. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that Korean medicine therapies may be effective for treating cervicogenic dizziness and headaches.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to report the efficacy of using Korean medicine treatment on dizziness diagnosed as Dam Hun. Methods: The patient received herbal medicine treatment of Banhabakchulchunma-tang and acupuncture from May 18, 2023 to June 3, 2023. To evaluate the treatment, we used the Korean Version of the Dizziness Handicap Inventory (K-DHI) to measure dizziness. The degree of dizziness, headache, and dyspepsia was also evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results: The patient's VAS scores improved after treatment. The change in the K-DHI scores showed that the patient's dizziness symptoms were relieved. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that Korean medicine therapies may be effective for treating dizziness.
