The Effect of Using Image Media for Environmental Education on Students' Environmental Sensitivity (환경교육 영상매체 활용 수업이 환경 감수성에 미치는 영향)

  • Today, environmental pollution and destruction due to the industrialization of our modem society have been the global issues. Although now we can lead affluent lives through science technologies and economic development, these environmental problems have resulted in striking the harmonious balance between human beings and nature and threatened human lives with abnormal weather caused by the global warming, destruction of the ozone layer, and El Nino phenomenon, acid rain, decrease in species diversity, movement of hazardous materials, and harmful waste increase. We are aware of the importance of environmental education, but in reality, it seems impossible to implement appropriate environmental education on account of our educational climate which exclusively focuses on the entrance examination. However, environmental education is the most ultimate solution for those problems in that only when students understand our environment fully and grow habits to protect it through environmental education, the present environmental problems can be solved and more serious problems that can be resulted in the future can possibly be prevented. Thus, this study has examined the effect of using image media in the environment subject on students' environmental sensitivity. According to the results, it was shown that it had positive effects on 'sensitivity of environment', 'attitudes towards environment', and 'environmental affinitive behaviors'.

  • Smartphones along with the development of crime evidence has been using smartphones. Phone's internal storage medium can be used as evidence in the case of images, video, phone, GPS information, there are Internet access and other data records. Therefore, these data to collect evidence of a systematic procedure for collecting and analyzing evidence is needed. In this paper, the target mobile phone forensics forensic evidence collection, evidence analysis, and reporting results to the procedures and how to draw. Through this paper, phone forensics and will serve as a basis for the investigation.

  • 근래 주목받는 키워드인 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous), UCC(User Created Contents) 등은 기술적 발달과 함께한 사람들의 행동 양식 변화를 잘 반영하고 있다. 기술적인 측면에서 모바일 환경으로의 진화는 사람들에게 시공간적 제약을 없애주었으며, '호모 루덴스'로 표현된 유희적 인간의 개념은 현대인의 행동 양식을 잘 표현했다. 이중 지상파 이동 멀티미디어 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, DMB)은 방송에 있어서 시공간적 제약을 없앤 대표적인 사례이며, 'EDUTAINMENT(에듀테인먼트)'는 교육에 유희를 결합한 실례라고 하겠다. 특히 DMB는 정보와 유희의 욕구를 기본적으로 충족시킬 수 있는 방송이라는 매체를 이용한다는 점에서 에듀테인먼트의 기술적 기반이 될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 저 연령의 학습자에게 유희와 교육을 동시에 제공함으로써, 학습효과를 높일 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 DMB 시스템을 위한 유아 대상의 에듀테인먼트 어플리케이션을 설계하고, 구현한다. 이 어플리케이션을 위해 스토리텔링, 음악과 악기 선택 시스템, 타임라인 및 자유표면 게임 시스템 등 DMB 시스템에 적절하며, 에듀테인먼트의 조건을 충족하는 몇 가지 방법론을 제안하여 방송을 통해 콘텐츠와 대상자가 서로 상호작용 할 수 있도록 한다. 이를 위해서는 기존 방송의 음성, 영상 서비스를 넘어 상호작용의 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있는 데이터 서비스를 요구하며, 이는 MPEG-4 Part 11: BIFS(Binary Format for Scenes) 기술을 기반으로 그 구현에는 VRML에 기초한 BT(BIFS Text) 언어를 사용한다.

  • A new intelligent home appliance is being appeared with overlap of telecommunication and home appliance technology. In this kind of product the user interface especially on screen display(OSD) and remote controller, holds a key post and is critical factor of performance and usability. In spite of this importance, the user interface is designed by circurt engineer from a viewpoint of engineering on the basis of his experience and unsophisticated insight. Therefore this study clarifies a user- centered design process of OSD from the designer's viewpoint on the basis of development case and gives a guideline for each stage in consideration of characteristic features that the user interface design of OSD is highly enfluenced by hardware specification and restricted by remote controller as input device.

  • Development of digital technology is advancing to levels which influence the formation of city landscapes and spaces. The use of media facade is creating modernized city-spaces with contemporary application of various digital mediums. In this way, media facade functions as media-art in an artistic point of view, while also providing the means for buildings to become landmarks in a city-scape point of view. Going a step further, media facade using interaction is drawing a lot of attention as it enables communication with the city inhabitants instead of one-way contents provision. This paper will research such interactive media facade using transparent display glass currently being used as construction building material and its potential growth.

  • DMB가 출범한지 2007년을 기준으로 3년을 맞이했다. DMB에 대해서는 일반적으로 많이 알려졌으며 새로운 방송 시스템으로 분명 뛰어난 기술이다. 하지만 방송 현업 종사자의 시각에서 볼 때 시청자들의 호응도는 답보상태에 머물고 있다고 판단된다. 방송위원회의 2007년 12월 조사 결과를 보면 DMB는 국민의 60% 이상이 향후에도 구입할 의향이 없다고 조사되었다. 그 이유는 기존방송을 재전송 하고 있는 상황에서 DMB에 맞는 영상 콘텐츠의 부족함으로 볼만한 콘텐츠가 없다는 것과, 작은 화면으로 인한 시각적 불편함 때문이라는 것이다. 또한 방송 초기 유료와 무료 여부에 대한 국가의 정책결정 등의 문제점이 복합적으로 작용하고 있다. 그 외의 불만 사항으로는 서비스 만족도에서 수신가능 지역에 대한 불만이 63.7%로 가장 많았고 배터리 수명의 한계에 대한 불만 54.4%와 단말기 가격에 대한 불만사항 등이 뒤를 이었다. 이런 상황을 종합해 볼 때 DMB는 당초 예상했던 것처럼 황금 알을 낳는 거위가 아니라는 것과, 신규미디어로서 새로운 콘텐츠의 수요창출에 그다지 성공적이지 못 함을 알 수 있다. DMB의 성패는 시청자의 활용도에 따라 판가름 난다고 본다. DMB 기존의 방송을 재전송하고 있다. 하지만 기존의 방송과는 다르게 DMB 자체의 특성에 적합한 콘텐츠로 제작되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 재전송의 문제점을 개선하고 보다 나은 제작방안을 제시하여 시청자들의 DMB 방송 접근 확대화와 활성화가 본 논문의 연구 목적이다.

  • It is the basic direction of revised education course to bring up the autonomous and creative Koreans to lead the 21st century. In the music education of the middle school it could be said that music program using computer is a very effective medium for learners' sake of stimulating their audio-visual sense at the same time. In this study, I will look around the facility of the computer music program and tried to find the application method to connect the creative learning activity in music class. And I will also show the application method in the musical activity area. For this, I proposed the method for students' creative learning activity in the middle of using Finale 2010 for music notation, Window Moviemaker for image editing and Goldwave for sound editing.

  • Recently, a great attention has been paid to a car black box device in the automobile markets besides it provides an accident re-construction based on the data which contains audio, video, and some meaningful driving informations. Also, it is expected that the device will get to promote around public transit and the market will greatly grow within a few years. Thus, this research conducted of preference the influencing factors in decisions purchase of auto black box. Factors influencing in decisions purchase of black box was divided safety, functionality, differentiation, economics. Questionnaire survey was conducted to those who worked in black box company. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications of factors influencing in purchase decisions based on the results.

  • Since 1960, there has been growing recognition that the moving images reveal the 'realistic illusion(L'illusion r$\acute{e}$aliste)' rather than the reality itself and many theorists and film directors have tried to suggest the methodology to solve the problem of verisimilitude of the moving images. In this paper, we describe through the case analysis of the practical use of 'off-screen space' as a methodology which actualize the reality in documentaries, by minimizing the 'suture' effect which occurs the problem of verisimilitude, based on the theories of Bazin and Burch. We, consequently, believe that the application of the 'off-screen space' could be one of the appropriate possibility for the successful representation of reality in documentaries.
