This study aimed to identify the impact of make-up education program on the level of satisfaction with make-up and the self-esteem of 80 elderly women. This education was provided during 8 weeks from May 28 to 16 July 2010 to women over 60 who were visiting P seniors welfare center, in D city. Some people fell out of the research, so finally the experimental group was 34 and the control group 36. During this research seven methods of make-up, including that of light make up were taught to the experimental group. Comparing the satisfaction and self-esteem levels before and after education. The result was that through the education the levels of their satisfaction with make-up and of their self-esteem were shown to have increased (p<0.05), significantly. We hope that through this research old people's healthy living and their social confidence can better converge.

일반적으로 눈 화장은 화장을 처음 하는 사람뿐만 아니라 화장에 능숙한 사람에게도 어려운 일이다. 또한 눈 형태는 사람마다 다르고, 형태에 따라 어울리는 눈 화장 방법 역시 다양하다. 본 논문에서는 눈 형태를 기반으로 효과적인 눈 화장 방법을 제안한다. 효과적인 눈 형태에 따른 검색을 하기 위해 에지(edge)를 기반으로 데이터베이스 영상과 입력영상의 눈 형태를 비교하여 유사한 눈 형태를 검색한다. 검색된 눈 화장 영상을 입력 영상의 눈 형태로 와핑(Warping)하여 눈 화장 스타일을 적용한다.

본 논문은 노인복지관을 방문하는 60세 이상의 노인여성을 대상으로 8주간의 화장교육을 실시하여 화장교육이 노인여성의 자긍심과 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 조사 대상자는 전체 80명 중 연령과 화장관심도를 근거로 실험군 40명, 대조군 40명으로 나누고 사전 조사 후, 실험군에게 8주간 화장교육을 실시하고, 효과 검증을 위한 사후 검사를 실시하여 실험군과 대조군의 자긍심과 생활만족도를 비교하였다. 교육 후 노인여성들의 화장교육에 대한 평가는 대체로 만족도가 높았으며 연구결과, 화장교육을 받은 실험군의 생활만족도는 유의하게 향상되었고(p<0.05), 자긍심은 교육 후 대조군이 낮아진 것에 비해 실험군은 변화가 거의 없는 것으로 나타나 교육의 효과로 인한 결과로 생각되며, 화장교육이 노인여성의 자긍심과 생활만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

This study aimed to identify the effect of make-up education on the life satisfaction of elderly women based on a make-up education session for eight weeks from May 28 to July 16, 2010 provided to elderly women aged 60 or above who visited P Seniors' Welfare Center in D city. 80 samples were divided into the experimental group of 40 people and the control group of 40 people based on age and interest in make-up. Their life satisfaction level was identified before the survey. The experimental group received an eight-week make-up education session. In order to verify effects of the make-up education, follow-up tests were conducted toward the experimental and control groups both to compare life satisfaction levels. The make-up education was divided into elegant and natural make-up, make-up to look ten years younger, face-changing make-up, seasonal (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) make-up, make-up for Korean traditional costumes, and party make-up. In each class, students practiced make-up on their face while taking a lecture on theories. After the education, the students found the education satisfactory overall. Based on the results, the life satisfaction of the experimental group who received the make-up education significantly increased (p<0.05), confirming that make-up education affects the life at old age.

The cremation rate of Korea in 2016 was 82.7% which is four times greater than 20.5% in 1994. As increasing the cremation rate gradually, it cause a shortage of cremation facilities resulting in building more cremation facilities to meet the increasing inquiries on cremation or a large amount of fuels for the longer operation of the crematory. In this study, the crematory system optimizing its thermal efficiency characteristics and also responding to increasing inquiries on cremation was proposed in order for solving such problems, In particular, the heat flow characteristics including a heat transfer coefficient by performing a simulation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was investigated. The CFD model was validated with on-site experiments for a cremation facility. As a result of the simulation, the fuel consumption decreased nearly 25% and residence time increased in the main combustor. Also, the improved crematory was constructed with an expanded combustor, heat exchanger, second combustion air system, refractory and insulation material. From on-site experiments, the energy consumption was saved to approximately 54.4%, while the burning time reduced nearly 20 minutes.

As the cremation usage in ehaneul funeral information system through online reservation service is showed to increase 50.7% that with use the case of from the 37,784corpse in 2011 to 56,945 corpse in 2017. With these increasing, Seoul Metropolitan City should implement the following policies in order to improve the operation of public cremation facilities. First, additional cremators should be built through smooth negotiations with local residents who live around the planned locations. Second, Seoul Metropolitan City should implement cooperative projects of building joint public cremation facilities with local governments of Gyeonggi-do that are adjacent to Seoul Metropolitan City. Third, decentralize demand of cremation through the establishment of cremation facilities exclusively for open tomb in Seoul Municipal Cemetery. Lastly, should take measures to control cremation demand by expanding differentiated operation of public cremation facilities' use hours for people who live in other regions except residents of Seoul Metropolitan City and by increasing cremation charges.

Due to the nature of teenage students' common tendency of being drawn to consumption conformity engendered by popular trends, and further expanding their unique collectivist culture, this study presumes that middle and high school female students as well have an influential factor that creates their distinctive trait. This study is intended to investigate the students' personal characteristics and effects of social reference groups, and further scrutinize how these influences transcends to deviant make-up behaviors. A total of 297 subjects, middle and high school female students, participated in a survey, using questionnaires focused primarily on the degrees of color makeup and the influences imposed by classmates. The findings of the study are as follows. First, regarding makeup behavior displayed by middle and high school female students, social self-esteem had positive influence on innovation and peer pressure. Second, perceived visibility conversely had negative impacts on innovation and peer pressure. This indicates that if perceived visibility is at a salient level, this already signifies lack of innovation. Third, makeup innovation and peer pressure demonstrated by middle and high school students all showed positive influence on their makeup behaviors. Additionally, peer pressure, in comparison to innovation, had greater influence on makeup behaviors, which indicates that peer pressure play a great role in makeup behavior of middle and high school students. Fourth, makeup behaviors showed strong impacts on makeup satisfaction and rendering deviant behaviors, which indicates that a new direction and perspective regarding middle and high school students' makeup behavior is critical.

본 논문에서는 스마트 미러 사용자의 얼굴 인식, 표정 인식, 얼굴형 인식을 활용하여 감정에 적절한 멘트와 화장법을 제공하는 시스템의 개발 내용에 관해 기술한다. 이 시스템을 사용함으로써 사람들은 자신의 감정을 정확하게 인지할 뿐만 아니라 위로와 공감을 받을 수 있으며, 자신의 스타일에 적절한 화장법을 추천받을 수 있다. 스마트 미러를 통해, 사용자는 자기 이해도가 늘어나게 되어 스스로에게 더욱 집중할 수 있고 화장법을 찾는 시간이나 화장에 실패할 가능성이 줄어들어 시간과 비용을 절약할 수 있게 될 것이다.

The analysis and comparison on the usage of public cremation facilities located in Seoul through online reservation service of ehaneul funeral information system by area from Jan. 1, 2011 to Dec. 31, 2017 showed that among 314,877 in the number of bodies using the facilities, 225,828 (or 71.7%) belonged to Seoul citizens and 89,049 (or 28.3%) belonged to people living in other area than Seoul, such as Goyang city, Gyeonggi-do and other local governments. Therefore, there appeared that the Seoul citizens could not get the timely cremation service but instead extended the funeral service to 4 to 5 days or had to go to the remote area for cremation. This trend gets severe every year. To solve these problems, it is recommended that Seoul city government makes effort of constructing or expanding the public cremation facilities in cooperation with other local government of the area whose residents show high rate of using Seoul public cremation facilities and that Seoul city government expands or builds its own public cremation facilities in mid- and long-term. In addition, the local government of other area around Seoul needs to expand their use rate of their own (4) public cremation facilities or raise the creation fee for the residents from other areas, thus trying to dispersing and controlling the demand for the cremation.
