'Fashion' is one of the most important aspects in game character design. However, despite its influence, analytical approaches in integrating fashion design methods in character designs are rare practices within the industry. The following paper aims point out the practicality of integrating and utilizing theoretical and formative methods in fashion design in creating character concept designs and show how the following application can create visual stimuli for artists in future concepts.

본 논문에서 패션 디자인(fashion design)을 평가하는데 있어서 새로운 방법론적 접근 방식을 제시해 보려하였다. 즉 패션 디자이너의 디자인에 대한 철학을 이해함으로서 패션에 대한 근복적인 면에 대해 보다 나은 이해를 갖도록 하는 접근 방식을 모색하려는 것이다. 본 논문의 분석대상은 디자이너 루디 건라이(Rudi Gernreich : 1922-1985)와 그의 작품들인데, 그의 작품들에 나타나는 급진적인 성향 뒤에 숨어 있는 그의 디자인 철학을 집중적으로 분석함으로써 작품과 철학의 상관관계를 조명하려는 것이 그 주된 목적이다. 기존의 그에 대한 평가는‘파격적 패션’,‘소설 스테이트먼트(Social Statement)’,또는‘시각적 창출’등의 표현으로 극히 피상적인 것이었다. 반면에 그가 어떠한 경로로 이러한 디자인을 구상하게 되었는지 또는 그가 현대의상에 얼마만큼의 영향을 미쳤는지에 대한 연구는 극히 소수에 불과하였다. 본 논문의 초점은 건라이의 패션 디자인을 그가 중요한 가치로 믿고 있었던‘개인적 자유에 대한 추구’의 반영으로써 재 평가해 보려는 것이다. 이것의 입증을 위해서 그의 디자인들을 역사적, 사회적 그리고 미학적인 관점에서 분석하였다. 먼저 그의 디자인 철학을 도출하기 위해 그의 개인적 배경에 대한 상세한 검토를 하였고, 그의 디자인과 관련된 자료와, 현존하는 작품들과 그에 따른 참고문헌들에 대한 분석 조사 작업을 하였다. 이 작업을 통해 필자는 건라이의 작품들을 세 개의 주된 주제들, 즉,‘부분적 누디즘(Partial Nudism)’,‘유니섹스 모드(Unisexs Mode)’, 그리고‘옵 아트 패션(Op-art Fashion)’으로 구분하였다.‘부분적 누디즘(Partial Nudism)’과‘유니섹스 모드(Unisex Mode)’는 60년대 중반에서 70ssu대 초반에 출현한 유스 컬츄어(Youth Culture)에 부합하는 그이 디자인의 반영으로써 성의 혁명, 여성 인권운동과 동성애자 인권 운동과 같은 사회이슈들과 그의 디자인이 갖는 상관관계를 보여주는 것이다.‘옵-아트 패션(Op-art fashion)’은 건라이 디자인의 미학적 요소에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 그의 작품에 나타나는 인체와 옵-아트 원리의 관계를 조명해 보고, 건라이가 옵-아트와의 연계하에 그의 디자인을 어느만큼 예술적으로 승화시켰는지를 보여주고 있다. 각 주체들은 건라이 작품들의 개별적인 분석을 통해 논하였다. 본 논문은 보다 넓은 관점에서의 건라이의 디자인에 대한 재 평가로 결론을 지었다. 이러한 재평가 작업을 통해 패션 디자인계에 미친 그의 공헌의 역사적 중요성을 강조하고 현대 패션에 그의 영향이 계속 미치고 있는 이유를 설명하려 하였다.

Controversy and legal disputes over counterfeit fashion designs have recently arisen in the fashion industry. The purpose of this study is to examine cases of counterfeiting disputes over fashion designs, and how the perception of counterfeit fashion designs is fostered from the learner's point of view, suggesting implications for the counterfeiting problem. As a result of this study, first, counterfeiting disputes over fashion design started from a lack of utilization of the Design Protection Act and the ambiguity in counterfeit design criteria. Second, the negative perceptions of counterfeit designs were mainly about unethical behavior, inhibiting the growth of the fashion industry, and reducing consumers' willingness to buy the genuine article. Positive perceptions were mainly about the process of creation, the promotion of a developmental environment for the fashion industry, and the expansion of opportunities to promote new designs. The most common perception was the absence of clear criteria for judgments about counterfeiting. Third, the implications of the counterfeiting problem in fashion design require effective institutional improvement in the fashion industry, the establishment of standards to deal with counterfeiting, the development and practical introduction of education proposals regarding intellectual property rights, and changing the perception of counterfeiting in the fashion industry.

The objective of this study is to verify the correlations among design quality of domestic internet fashion shopping mall and relations to specific shopping malls, and shopping mall users' intention to continue the relations. The main results were withdrawn as follows. First, it was found that some factors of internet fashion shopping mall design quality had significant positive influences on the qualities of relationship to users such as reliability, satisfaction and devotion. Second, it was found that all components of quality of customer relationship to internet fashion shopping mall such as reliability, satisfaction and devotion had significant positive influence on their intention to continue relations to the internet shopping mall. Third, graphic and multimedia quality of internet fashion shopping mall design components had significant positive influences on internet fashion shopping mall users' intention to continue relationship to the shopping mall. Empirical study of qualities on the relationship between internet fashion shopping mall design quality and its users, their intention to repurchase or recommend goods from the mall would be very valuable in a management point of view of small internet fashion shopping mall.

본 연구에서는 20세기 대표적인 디자이너인 샤넬의 작품활동을 통해 패션산업에 미친 영향에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 연구를 위해 여러 문헌과 패션잡지를 통한 자료분석으로 문헌적 연구를 했다. 본 논문의 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 샤넬은 소재의 혁신을 가져왔다. 둘째, 영 스포츠캐주얼 웨어를 디자인하여 제시함으로서 여성에게 젊음과 여유로운 생활을 유도한다. 셋째, 패션의 현대화로 디자인뿐만 아니라 기능적이고 실용적인 심플한 실루엣을 제시하여 하나의 모드를 생성시킨다. 넷째, 패션의 댄디즘으로 여성 해방운동가의 입장에서 패션을 해석하려했다. 다섯째, 클래식한 슈트의 다양한 악세사리를 코디네이션하여 디자인의 변화를 가져왔다. 여섯째, 일부 계층만의 패션이 아니라 20세기 패션의 대중화에 앞장을 선 디자이너 중의 한 사람이었다.

국내 섬유 및 패션산업은 세계적인 경쟁력을 갖추고 있으나 낙후된 디자인 기술, 비효율적인 생산관리, 다양한 고객 요구변화에 신속한 대응부족, 비효율적인 유통구조 등으로 인하여 경쟁력 향상에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 정부에서는 패션산업의 경쟁력강화를 위하여 대구지역을 중심으로 밀라노 프로젝트를 추진하고 있으나 대부분이 건물 신축 등 하드웨어적인 측면을 강조하고 있어 디자인 기술향상, 생산관리, 전자상거래 활성화 등 의류 및 패션산업 특성을 감안한 소프트웨어적인 전략 및 지원이 부족한 실정이다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 3D 가상현실 기법을 의류 및 패션산업에 적합하게 개발하여 국내 패션산업의 세계화와 경쟁력강화에 기여하고자 한다. 주요 연구내용을 살펴보면, 소재의 2D, 3D 입체화 표현기술, 3D Virtual 표현기술, 2D, 3D Model 및 의상 DB 개발, Mapping 기술 등을 통합한 Virtual Dressing System(VDS)을 개발하고자 한다. VDS를 통하여 고부가가치 섬유의 신속한 개발, 디자인 기술 향상, 다자간 공동생산지원에 따른 효율적 생산관리가 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 웹기반 하에 Virtual Dressing System을 개발함으로써 의류 및 패션상품을 3D 형태로 입체적으로 볼 수 있게 함은 물론 가상 코디네이션 연출까지 가능케 함으로써 인터넷 쇼핑몰 상에서 의류, 패션상품의 판매 증대에 기여하고자 한다.

This study analyzes and categorizes the cases of military look's transitional design ideas in recent women's fashion collections, and derives characteristics. The research method is a theoretical review of military look and an analysis of fashion collection cases. The research results were classified into a total of six transformational design ideas. As a structural change in design, it is a decentralized type, a type of expansion and reduction, a change in the entire material, or a transition of some materials, and finally a type according to heterogeneous harmony and organic combination corresponding to styling. Finally, a total of three characteristics are the reconstruction of structural elements, the expansion of the metric of the second mix match, and the emotional fusion of styling. I hope that the study of the transformative type of idea of the new military look will be the driving force for creative design development and will be a basic study that can read the current status and changes of the times throughout fashion design.

With the advance of digital technology, development of exclusive CAD system for fashion textile that may suggest the future of fashion textile industry is increasingly accelerated. To build up the foundation of digital culture, it is required for fashion textile industry to develop goods with high value added and make rapid change of production system, and actually, exclusive programs are being developed to meet with the desire. Present study considers the vicissitude of fashion textile and the composition and characteristics of design system, and compares and analyses a variety of design developments of digital fashion textile. And it systemizes the expansion and change of creative digital pattern designs that are developed differing from existing graphic program, the expression of suitable textile texture, and the simulation effect by three-dimension modeling. By separating the usage of CAD system for fashion textile into designing and producing aspects, it also focuses on increasing the usage of exclusive CAD system for fashion textile.
