Vibration Analysis of Automobile Tire Due to Road Impact (노면으로부터 충격을 받는 자동차 타이어의 진동해석)

  • As the technique of automobile industry is being advanced, the advancement of vehicle ride is being required. In order to achieve this purpose, the study on the vibration which are produced by moving vehicle is carried out actively. In order to analysis, the tire vibration characteristics for passing over a cleat, the tire is modeled with 7-DOFs (degree of freedom). The model is verified against simulations and experiments. The effects of proposed tire design parameters such as the tire tread rubber, tread ring, apex are considered. According to the results of analysis, the tire design parameters that can reduce the tire and wheel vibration quantity are conducted.

  • The trust issue on the safety of autonomous vehicle is a very important in regard to the demand generation of relevant industries. To secure the trust, The study of legal liability issue should be prior to an accident of the autonomous vehicle. In civil law, it is possible to make the automobile manufacturer take legal responsibility with the "Product Liability Act". Whereas, in criminal law, it is difficult to make him take legal responsibility since the criminal law holds the actor responsible. To solve these problems, this article proposes the establishment of the "Special Act on Autonomous Vehicle". Also, there is a demand for building infra structures and system to operate the (fully) self-propelled vehicle and establishing "certification" systems.

  • Globally, the eco-friendly industry is developing due to the climate crisis. Electric vehicles are an eco-friendly industry that is attracting attention as it is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 30~70% or more compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. As electric vehicles become more popular, charging stations have become an important factor for purchasing electric vehicles. Recent research is using artificial intelligence to identify local demand for charging stations and select locations that can maximize economic impact. In this study, in order to contribute to the improvement of the performance of the electric vehicle charging station demand prediction model, nationwide data that can be used in the artificial intelligence model was defined and a pre-processing technique was proposed. In addition, a preprocessor, artificial intelligence model, and service web were implemented for real charging station demand prediction, and the value of data as a location selection factor was verified.

  • Reversed plane bending fatigue tests were conducted on SiC particle aluminum composite. The initiation and growth behaviors of small surface fatigue cracks were continuously monitored by the replica technique and investigated in detail. The fatigue life of MMC is shorter than that of matrix because there exists interface debonding of SiC particles and matrix on the whole face of the notch part in the casting metal matrix composite(MMC). The coalescence of micro-cracks was observed in the tests conducted at high stress levels. Due to the coalescence, a higher crack growth rate of small cracks rather than those of long cracks was recognized in da/dn-$K_{max}$ relationship.
