피뢰기란 뇌서지 및 개폐서지로 인한 과도적 이상전압으로부터 전력설비의 기기를 보호하는 장치이다. 종래에는 주로 전력시설물을 그 보호대상으로 하고 있었으나 최근에는 건축물의 내부에 사용하는 정보통신기기를 보호하는 기술도 발달하고 있다. 본론에서는 고압기기를 보호대상으로 하는 피뢰기에 대하여 살펴보겠다.

Generally, speed control for Induction motor widely used in industrial field is accomplished by commercial inverter. Induction motor driven by commercial inverter causes the micro surge voltage because of high speed switching of inverter. Micro surge brings about not only the breakdown of motor but also noise in PLC control system. And they court the enormous interference in activity for production. In this paper, we suggest the suppressible countermeasure for the breakdown of motor after the consideration of productive mechanism about micro surge. Experiment is performed by inverter with LCR filler in its output terminal. As a result, we confirmed that micro surge voltage is reduced. And the suppressible countermeasure for the noise of PLC control system is suggested by theoretical consideration.

This study analyzed bibliographic attributes related to the selection and use of reading materials based on data on books borrowed or purchased together in order to understand the properties of reading materials that have complex user needs from various perspectives. As a result of creating co-occurrence matrices of bibliographic attribute terms by dividing them into 26 sub-attribute units related to KDC main class, target reader, and user age, and performing network analyses, the details and prominent mediating role of bibliographic attributes of reading materials were identified. The results of this study will be helpful in designing facets of reading information systems, including library OPAC, in the future.

The study attempts to propose a distributed bibliographic information retrieval system using distributed retrieval servers and distributed databases. CORBA and JAVA applications have been employed to solve both the bottleneck and the problems that simultaneous searches in distributed databases cannot deal with under the CGI or JAVA applications. The proposed distributed bibliographic retrieval system using two distributed servers with their distributed databases was successfully experimented. However, it is recommended that both heterogeneous information retrieval systems and databases are included in further studies.

Many factors playa role in designing the interface for bibliographic data entry system in response to the various needs. Among the major variables to be considered are planning, record format, screen design, automatic generation of access points, error checking, download from bibliographic databases, character codes, card catalog production, and use of authority data.This paper described with examples how these design considerations can be implemented in empirical system.

The purpose of this study is to seek how to effectively acquire a full-text using LHI(Loca1 Holdings Information) when we search bibliographic DB. For this study, the pre-investigation of LHI within Online and CD-ROM DB was made using local and overseas literature. The questionary survey was made of librarians and users who have used CD-ROM. The finding of this study is that LHI is not very widely used in libraries, thus more study on ,LHI within Online and CD-ROM DB is required to get high quality information service.

The purpose of this research was to examine the significance of the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana. In this research, the following were done: 1) by clarifying the place and date of praying for the engraving of the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana, its significance as "Daejanggyeong" produced to expel the Kitan was more clearly explained; 2) its physical characteristics were examined to provide evidence of the artistic and creative features of its engravings, quite different from those of the Gaebo Tripitaka made in China; and 3) its structure was analyzed from a viewpoint of a systematic bibliography. It was found that since the first edition of Tripitaka Koreana contained all the earlier lists of Buddhistic scriptures in China(and individual scriptures were thoroughly examined and included into its content since the reign of King Munjong), it had a systematic bibliographical significance demonstrated by its comprehensive and cumulative nature.

Disagreements between the technical environment and the conventional library catalog have caused a re-clarification of International Cataloguing Principles (ICP). Review is under way to finalize the publication of RDA (Resource Description and Access) in late 2009 by the Joint Steering Committee for Development of RDA. The impending RDA is based on FRBR (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) which re-explains the bibliographic universe focused on entities, attributes and relationships between resources, but tries to maintain MARC as an encoding format for RDA. In this study, firstly FRBR, ICP and RDA were analyzed. Secondly, we propose 3 scenarios of RDA implementation: the future cataloging system based on the FRBR Entity, using a semantic web structure, and the scenario using the existing MARC format with some small changes. Finally, by examining response patterns of overseas bibliographic institutions, we present a set of urgent issues for future directions of bibliographic contro in Korea which includes, but not limited to, relationship between RDA/FRBR and KCR (Korean Cataloging Rules), continuation of KORMARC and authority control.
