  • The results of this study are the two. First, for convergence technology and convergence technology transfer based on analysis of previous studies I suggested a framework for convergence-type technology transfer conceptualization and measurement. Second, I am compared convergence-type technology transfer to total technology transfer from public research(university and public institute) to SME. Overall, despite the trend to increase technology transfer to SMEs, convergence-type technology transfer is only 4.4%. Both total technology transfer and convergence-type technology transfer to the Industry is active to electronic components, machinery, chemicals, food and beverage, and the medical. The role of universities is emphasized in both total technology transfer and convergence-type technology transfer. There are small transactions of less than 5 million in both total technology transfer and convergence-type technology transfer. Both total technology transfer and convergence-type technology transfer to the region are concentrated in Seoul, Daejeon and Gyeonggi-do.

  • Recently, Daejeon Metropolitan City is planning a futuristic city with Daedeok Special District at the center of its transformation into a city of nature, science and culture along with the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, this research will divide the 1.5 km distance from the in Doryong-dong, Daejeon, science park intersection to the (Former)Daedeok Science and Culture Center, and propose a space design concept that incorporates IT technologies that fit the characteristics. The center will analyze the space status and derive an experience-oriented space design concept for user-centered planning so that it can serve as a guideline that will provide the fundamental direction for the promotion of the Daedeok Science Culture. Through the field survey, we will look for ways to integrate IT technology with infrastructure that needs improvement and change the distance of Daedeok Science culture as a smart street. The results of the field survey were : (1) made by connecting the persistence of comfort and safety issues, (2) uniformity and efficiency issues, and (3) the experience of identity problems and the orientation of the smart city. To create user-centered distances, we attempted to avoid uniform zoning based solely on infrastructure and zoning focusing on user behavior.

  • As interest in "beauty" increases due to the improvement of a high cultural level, job stress and emotional labor caused by nail workers working are gradually increasing, and it is judged that it should be solved in the beauty industry. This study investigated the effect of working stress and emotional labor on turnover intention of nail workers, and the survey tool was a questionnaire for 250 nail industry workers in Daejeon and Chungcheong. The SPSS 21.0 statistical program was used to analyze the collected data, and the research results showed that job stress and emotional labor of nail workers had a statistically significant correlation with turnover intention, indicating that there was a correlation between general job stress and emotional labor. Therefore, it is considered very important for research in this field to analyze the impact of job stress and emotional labor on turnover of nail industry workers and to provide basic data necessary for the development of this field, job satisfaction improvement, and work stress response. In order to establish the nail field as a part of the growing beauty industry, it is expected that there will be better research results if the turnover rate is reduced and compared and analyzed to improve job satisfaction through analysis of the causes of job stress and emotional labor of nail industry workers.

  • This study was attempted to identify factors for managing hyperlipidemia in middle-aged adults. The research method is a secondary analysis study analyzing the 2018 data from the Korean Medical Panel Survey. The subjects of the study were 622 adults aged between 40 and 65 who were diagnosed with hyperlipidemia. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a correlation between the level of education and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.285, p = .026), and that there was a correlation between the subject's subjective health status and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.295, p =.026). Middle age is a time when the physical aging process begins in earnest, and there is a high possibility of developing chronic diseases, and hyperlipidemia is an early disease that causes chronic diseases. Accordingly, active health management is necessary, and in particular, the development of differentiated programs for hyperlipidemia management tailored to the subject's education level and health status is required.

  • Due to the management innovation policy that was introduced to governmentsupported research institutes (GSRI) in 1998, their employment structure has been continuously changing, with the most notable increase of the number of non-standard researchers and the diversification of employment contracts. This paper examines changes in the employment structure of GSRI over the last 20 years in relation to the introduction and operation of the PBS (project base system), which is a main factor that fundamentally changed the employment structure of research institutes. This paper purposes to analyze the current status of non-standard workers in the science and technology research area through interviewing standard and non-standard researchers. Under the PBS as a principle of organizing their research project, the project-managers cannot help but exploit non-standard researchers to process research within a tight budget. This structure of organizing research projects reinforces the increase of the number of non-standard researchers and diversification of non-standard employment relations. In addition, the wage and working conditions of non-standard workers are getting aggravated in this structure. Considering the characteristics of research institutes, precarious status of non-standard researchers will have negative effects on the development of science and technology.

  • This paper is to analyze citizens' consciousness on urban changes, especially focusing on changes in urban environment, spatial structure, and urban planning, of large cities in S. Korea, that is, Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu, and Kwangju in the 1990s. Some significant points can be described as follows. First. The most important factor influencing on the change of urban spatial structure was the expansion of residential area inner and outside of cities promoted by the traditional construction industry, and not development of high-tech industries and their complex or location of multi-national firms which can be emphasized as major factors of new urbanization process of global cities. Secondly, citizens seem to have experienced improvement and deterioration of urban environment simultaneously, emphasizing regulatory environmental policy on the one hand, and recognize the necessity of sustainable urban development within given environmental capacity and restoration of destructed and polluted environment of cities. Thirdly, the building boom of new apartment complex was a major driving force of changing urban spatial structure, but it could neither alleviate a residential gap between the poor and the rich areas nor a relief of traffic congestion. Finally, the urban policy in general was felt somewhat improved by citizens, but not in sectoral details.

  • The Fourth Industrial Revolution was triggered by data-driven digital technologies such as AI and big data. There is a rapid movement to expand the scope of data utilization to the privacy area, which was considered only a protected area. Through the revision of the Data 3 Act, laws and systems were established that allow personal information to be freely transferred and utilized under their consent. But, it will be necessary to support the platform that encompasses the entire process from collecting personal information to managing and utilizing it. In this paper, we propose a platform model that can be applied to building mydata ecosystem using personal information. It describes the six essential functional requirements for building MyData platforms and the procedures and methods for implementing them. The six proposed essential features describe consent, sharing/downloading/ receipt of data, data collection and utilization, user authentication, API gateway, and platform services. We also illustrate the case of applying the MyData platform model to real-world, underprivileged mobility support services.

  • The construction of Daedeok Science Town, located in Yuseong ward of Daejeon metropolitan city, began in the early 1970s. It started out as a national project to form an agglomeration of the major central government research institutions. Since that time Daedeok Science Town has also attracted private research institutions, mainly during the 1900s. This study geographically analyzes this research institutions to clarify the regional identity of Daedeok Science Town through an integrated approach of existing new regional geography approach, which is characteristics of labour market as the regional pattern of its laborers' residences, spatial labour division, its research network with other institutions, and networks of university, research institution, and corporations, through the spatial spread of intellectual right of property and through network of technology business incubator relationship with spin offs which is appeared to spatial interaction. The results of the study are as follows: First of all, Daedeok Science Town was not only self-sustenance with marketing garden of agricultural regions in the suburb of Daejeon city but also was consign of agricultural products to Daejeon city before 1972. Since that time, the identity of Daedeok Science town has been formed by externally factors of the science development, by the local decentralization of population and public offices in Seoul metropolitan area in terms of the world economy system, and by the internally accessibility maximization of the central location in Korea between 1992 and 1999. On the part of Daedeok Science Town it has some merits of in-migration from nation-wide, and of mother city's Daejeon. Lastly at the period of the venture business beginning after 1999, the role of institution, developing the existing high technology, made great contribution to an attraction of ventures business to here in need of high technology industry growth, including knowledge-based industry in the informated society. On these bases, Daedeok Science Town seems to grow spontaneously as a science park.
