This convergence study was conducted to identify the effect of the awareness enhancing program of the international development cooperation of college students sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). A quasi-experimental study design was used. The participants consisted of one experimental group (n=32) who attended the awareness enhancing class of international development cooperation and the other control group (n=32) who did not participate in the class in a university in C city. The data were collected using online survey before the first class and after the last class in spring semester 2019. Collected data were analyzed by ANCOVA using SPSS WIN Version 20.0 program. The levels of global citizenship (p=.003) and career preparation behavior (p=.013) was higher in the experimental group than in the control group. However, career identity(p=.385) and cooperative efficacy(p=.488) did not show significant difference between the groups. This study proposed the direction for the awareness enhancing program of the international development cooperation of college students by showing its positive effects on the global citizenship and career preparation behavior.

우리나라는 원조를 받는 수원국에서 원조를 주는 공여국로 성장한 최초의 국가이며, 경제력 신장에 따라 국제사회에서의 국가 위상 역시 크게 높아 졌다. 한국에 대한 국제사회의 기여요구가 증가함에 따라, 우리나라는 2009년 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 개발원조위원회(DAC)에 가입하여 국제사회에서의 영향력을 확대하고 있다. 한국의 국제개발원조는 한국국제협력단(KOICA)을 통해 대부분 이루어지고 있으나, 그 범위가 넓어 실질적으로 농업부분의 원조는 2009년의 경우 250억 내외로 전체 지원금의 6.8-8.8% 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 농림수산식품부는 농업부문에 특성화된 국제협력사업을 추진함으로써, 첫째, 수혜국의 농업 농촌개발과 농가소득 증대에 따른 빈곤문제 해결은 물론, 둘째, 아국의 해외농업개발 및 해외농업자원 개발에 힘쓰고 있다. 이러한 기본방향은 우리정부가 해외농업개발 및 농업자원 확보의 중요성을 인식하여, 적극적인 민간참여하에 기업, 대학, 연구소 등의 컨소심엄 구성에 의한 사업추진을 유도함으로써 지원국과 수혜국 등 양국 모두의 이익을 추구하는데 목적이 있다. 따라서 동국대학교 ODA사업은 아시아 중점 협력국인 베트남의 달랏 (Dalat)지역을 대상으로 농업시설 및 기술지원 사업을 수행하고 있다. 베트남은 외국과의 경제협력에 노력을 기울이고 있으나, 현재까지 도 농간 심각한 경제적 불균형과 농촌빈곤 문제를 해결하지 못하고 있다. 그러나 베트남 달랏은 농업 환경여건이 원예 특용작물 생산에 적합한 지역이므로, 고부가가치 농산업의 특성화를 통한 베트남 농업 개선사업의 모델을 제시할 수 있는 적지이다. 본 사업은 베트남의 특성화된 고부가가치 작물 연구 및 생산지원, 한국 농기업과 연계한 베트남 원예 특용 농업유전자원의 지속적 확보와 이용, 국내 농산업관련기업의 해외시장 개발 등을 목표로 하고 있다. 이러한 협력과 지원으로 베트남의 경제적 기술적 발전과 경제구조의 회복을 유도하고, 도 농간의 균형발전을 통한 저개발국가의 경제발전모델을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한 한국의 해외 농업유전자원의 지속적 확보 및 이용, 대외 이미지 제고와 외교력 강화, 경제협력 강화와 국내 농산업 관련기업의 발전 및 해외 진출 확대, 국제회의 및 협상에서의 아국의 입지강화 등에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study conducted the international evaluation of the APEC educational cooperation projects initiated by the Korean government and drew out strategies and tasks for their sustainable implementation. To this end, eight projects implemented by the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education were selected for the evaluation which examined participants' awareness of and the degree of participation in the eight projects as well as contribution to the intended outcomes of the projects. An online survey was conducted to participants of the eight projects and 283 experts and participants from 18 economies responded. The descriptive analysis found that the participants of ALCoB Cooperation Project reported the most positive perception of the awareness while the participants of the ALCoB Internet Volunteers showed the lowest degree of participation in and contribution to the intended outcomes of the project. Based on the results, several suggestions for further progress in Korea's APEC educational cooperation were made.

현재의 사실상 국제 이러닝 표준으로 자리 잡은 SCORM 2004 기술규격은 '단일 사용자 콘텐츠 학습' 환경의 '웹 기반 자기 주도적 학습'에 근거하고 있다. 즉, 학습자 그룹을 포함한 협력적인 학습과정 설계가 가능하도록 하는 규격 부분이 부재한 상태이다. 이에 SCORM 규격을 기반으로 하여 협력학습 콘텐츠를 개발하는 연구가 활발히 진행되어 왔으나, 협력학습 콘텐츠를 탑재하는 플랫폼 즉, 협력학습을 지원하기 위한 학습관리 시스템의 표준화에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러닝 협력학습의 표준화를 주도하고 있는 국제 이러닝 표준기구인 ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36의 연구 자료를 토대로 협력학습을 지원 가능한 방안을 제안하여 SCORM 2004 규격의 실행환경에 협력학습과 관련된 데이터모델을 추가하여 협력학습지원 시스템을 설계하고 구현하고자 한다.

In this study, we attempt to identify factors that influence the performances of Korean firms regarding global R&D cooperation, and to derive policy implications for performance improvement. The hypothetic influential factors include firms' general characteristics, purposes and types of cooperation, technology, partners and their countries, and government support. We categorize the performances of global R&D cooperation into technological, economic, and strategic performance, and analyze the effects of those factors on each of the performances as well as the overall performance. We use a standard tobit model for the overall performance, while using a multivariate tobit model for the other performances to reflect the possible correlations among them. The survey data was collected from 162 Korean firms that had previously conducted or were currently conducting global R&D cooperation.

This study aims to examine the International Development Cooperations (IDCs) of Daesoon Jinrihoe and discuss the future prospects of these programs in terms of Daesoon Thought. The international community calls for the active participation of various donors, and this is not limited to only traditional donors such as governments, public institutions, and multilateral organizations. In this regard, the role of Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for religious communities is recognized as important. Daesoon Jinrihoe has systematized its IDCs by expanding its overseas services to implement the three major works with the official establishment of the Daejin International Volunteers Association (DIVA) in 2013. In addition to these activities, Daesoon Jinrihoe was selected by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in 2022. As a new religion, Daesoon Jinrihoe does not provide as much support via FBOs when compared to other traditional religions (Christianity, Buddhism, Catholicism, etc.), but it is able to conduct strategic IDCs by utilizing its expertise and capabilities (education, healthcare, etc.). In fact, the nature and content of the projects carried out by these FBOs and Daesoon Jinrihoe are similar, and the results have been remarkable considering that these programs are still in their infancy. Above all, Daesoon Jinrihoe's foreign aid is more meaningful because it does not have a religious purpose such as missionary work, and it is funded by donations from believers. In carrying out IDCs, it is necessary to promote the professionalism of IDCs based on the strategic linkage of the three major works (charity aid, social welfare, and education). It is also necessary to recognize the value and spirit of IDCs for peace and coexistence based on mutual beneficence.
