Rapid globalization process is applying to Science field in Korea. Until now, most researches and government's announcement used to examine the scientific level of Korea by using the number of publications in the SCI Journals. I investigate other aspects of the scientific globalization: a scientific collaboration trend, participations of foreign researchers, and the national level of collaboration networks. There are increasing patterns in collaboration and foreign researchers' participation, and the Impact Factors of the Journals were preceded by inflating trend in the participations of foreign researchers. Also, the breadth and the density are different from each science fields in the national level of collaboration networks. These findings are related to the process of globalization in the Korean science journals and the science fields.

[ $\underline{Purpose}$ ]: To investigate current status of SCI (Science Citation Index) and SCI Expanded publications of Korean radiation oncologists. $\underline{Materials\;and\;Methods}$: Published SCI and SCIE articles the conditions of first author's address as "Korea" and "Radiation Oncology" or "Therapeutic Radiology" were searched from Pubmed database. $\underline{Results}$: From 1990 to 2006, 146 SCI articles and 32 SCIE articles were published. Most frequently published journal was International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, where 56 articles were found. Articles with 30 or more citations were only five and 10 or more citations were 26. Yonsei University, which had 57 published articles, was the top among 19 affiliations which had one or more SCI and SCIE articles. Authors with five or more articles were 9 and Seong J. of Yonsei University was the top with 19 articles. $\underline{Conclusion}$: The investigations showed disappointing results. The members of Korean Society of Radiation Oncologists must consider a strategy to increase SCI and SCIE publications.

In this paper, in order to support rapid and effective decision-making and response in disaster situations, we identified the author's organization of academic research papers and conducted a collaborative relationship analysis study based on this. For this purpose, 2,308 papers in 69 Korean academic journals classified by disaster and safety type were selected for analysis and experimental data were constructed based on the Korea Science Citation Database (KSCD) and institutional identification data provided by KISTI. Collaborative relationship analysis was conducted for each of the four units (Institution, Institution type, Institution region and University department type). First, statistical status such as frequency of appearance was compared, and basic properties and main centrality index of each co-occurrence network were calculated and analyzed using Social Network Analysis Method. In addition, a visualization map was created and presented for each network so that the collaborative relationship could be viewed and understood as a whole. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the search activities of institutions and cooperative groups that support effective disaster response and to lay the foundation for the information service system.
