  • 웹 기반 교육은 웹을 수단으로 하여 지식을 생성·조직·전파하는 새로운 교육 방식으로 웹이 제공하는 상호작용성을 교육에 활용한다면 기존의 면대면 교육에서 부족했던 점을 보완할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웹을 수단으로 하는 웹 기반 교육의 학생 교수간 상호작용성을 활용하여 중학교 기하영역을 위한 웹 기반 코스웨어를 설계·구현하였다. 설계된 코스웨어는 기존의 독립형 컴퓨터를 기반으로 하는 멀티미디어 코스웨어의 한계성을 극복하고 학습자 중심의 능동적 참여 및 개별화 학습을 유도할 수 있는 장점을 지니며 중학 수학 교과 과정중 논증기하의 교수-학습효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 방안으로 평가된다.

  • Cyber education community in the digital age is going on across all areas of knowledge accumulation rate of acceleration of the demand for retraining and lifelong learning can effectively accommodate. Therefore, new teaching methods in the future as consumer-driven 21st century is expected to settle into the main education system. However, to properly interact with people due to lack of feedback delay, reading and writing intensive courses is detrimental to the environment caused by a particular student, and Computer skills are based on computer-related technology to disadvantage poor students, and many have problems. In this paper, recent university education and cyber education requires a paradigm shift is required in an environment that factors affecting students' satisfaction were evaluated, and Improvement of cyber education will be studied.

  • This study is a system that provides a suitable level of the problem, designing the learner certification simulation program based on the ITS(: Intelligent Tutoring System) based on the model and the learning expert model, the model through a buggy (Buggy Model). In the demand survey that reflects the needs of users, convenience, effectiveness, scalability, and reliability were required. In order to reflect this, various problems were developed, problem type analysis, difficulty control, student grades and level management. Users who are preparing for the certification test are expected to use the development system to solve the problems according to their own level and to solve various types of problems in a practical environment to greatly shorten the preparation period for certification.

  • 본 연구에서는 MHEG을 기반으로 한 원격 교육/훈련 시스템으 설계한다. 설계하는 시스템은 코스웨어를 제공하고, 비동기모드로 브라우징하여 개별 학습을 지원하던 기존 시스템과는 달리 , 교육적 효과를 높이기 위해 비동기 방식과 동기 방식을 동시에 수용할수 있도록 설계하였다. 특히 동기 방식은 사용자 공동 작업 환경을 위한 세션 관리 모듈을 두어 실시간 화상 강의 응용에서 학습자 및 세션 제어에 대한 연산을 제공함으로써 학습 효율을 향상시킬수 있으며, MHEG 표준을 도입하여 학습자와의 실시간 상호 작용을 충분히 지원함으로써 훈련 시스템에서의 시뮬레이션 지원 능력을 극대화 할수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, a cyber training institute system suitable for teachers' training is designed and implemented, and it is applied to and evaluated on the actual spot. While general purpose cyber education systems have too much unnecessary functions and are inconvenient to operate, this system removes the unnecessary functions and has only useful functions. This system is much concerned with the interaction among learners, instructors, administrators and contents. This system is characterized by having menu items such as Searching Learners, Taking Attendance, Information for Learners, Assignment Hand out, Group Debate, Cyber Cafe and Access Statistic to promote the interaction. The result of the application of this system to 554 teachers for two years is that the ratio of completion was 95%.

  • This paper describes the web-based collaborative learning system, in which the constructivism is used as a background theory. We designed and developed three modules (Learner Module, Instructor Module, Administrative Module) to promote the interactive communication between learners and instructors and to enable the self-directed collaborative learning. In addition, the assignment and evaluation sessions are closely linked with each other to ensure the high quality of the system. We expect this research helps to construct the efficient collaborative learning environment using the ICT(Information & Communication Technology).

  • This study aims to investigate better predictors, among learner participation and interaction, for collective self-efficacy and achievement in a web-based collaborative learning environment. Interaction requires communication among two or more learners, while participation does not. In this study, interaction was measured by in-degree centrality and out-degree centrality based on the social network analysis perspective. Multiple regression analysis results from 53 college students who performed team project via online showed that in-degree centrality predicted collective self-efficacy and out-degree centrality predicted achievement, while participation was not a significant predictor.

Comparative study on the language anxiety levels and factors in different English class environments (영어 수업환경의 유형에 따른 언어불안 정도와 불안요인에 대한 비교분석)

  • This study examined the levels of language anxiety and their causal factors in different English class environments. The findings show that the levels of language anxiety vary significantly in different types of class environments, indicating that both the class environments and individual characteristics are meaningful variables of language anxiety. The findings also show that unlike the levels of language anxiety, its causal factors are almost constant regardless of the class environment with communication apprehension being the most important factor. This study suggests that the English proficiency of students and professors needs to be considered when constructing specific class environments, in addition to promoting class environments favorable to students' active participation in class.

Relationships among Students' Understanding of Genetics Topics, Meaningful Learning Orientation, and Reasoning Ability (생물학습에서 중학생들의 학습 성향, 논리적 사고력과 학업 성취도와의 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among an achievement, a meaningful learning orientation and a reasoning ability. 149 third grade middle school students were tested. The achievement test was designed to measure students' interrelated understanding of genetics. A modified LPQ(Learning Process Questionnaires) was used to measure students' meaningful learning orientation. Students' reasoning ability were identified by the short version GALT(Group Assessment of Logical Thinking). Correlations between different variables were examined. Regression analyses were conducted to examine the predictive influence of meaningful learning orientation and reasoning ability on the achievement of students. And ANCOVA was used to identify the interaction of these variables on students' achievement. Students did not understand well enough the concepts of genetics. Meaningful learning orientation indicated a significant gender difference. Girls tend to do more meaningful learning than boys(p<.05). Many students(48.76%) were at the transitional cognitive level. Results of correlations indicated that students' attainment of meaningful understanding was significantly and positively related with a meaningful learning orientation and a reasoning ability. But there was no significant correlation between students' meaningful learning orientation and reasoning ability. Regression analyses indicated that learning orientation and reasoning ability were able to predict the achievement of students. They predicted better on solving genetics problem than understanding genetics problem. Results of ANCOVA showed that the test scores of genetics were significantly different according to not only learning orientation levels but also cognitive levels. But, there was no interaction between learning orientation and cognitive levels. Within the transitional and formal cognitive level, the meaningful learners performed significantly better than the rote learners on the test of genetics.

Analysis of Satisfaction of Elementary School Students and Teachers for Software Practice Education in Real-Time Video Classes (실시간 화상 수업 환경에서 소프트웨어 실습 교육에 대한 초등학생 및 교사의 만족도 분석)

  • This study analyzed learners' satisfaction and in-depth interviews with teachers after operating a software practical curriculum as a real-time video class for fifth and sixth graders in elementary school. The correlation between learner's presence, class overall, interaction, and real-time video class satisfaction showed that the positive correlation between presence, class overall, interaction, and satisfaction with real-time video classes was somewhat high. There were some differences in the real-time video class participation environment and real-time video class satisfaction, but it was not found to be statistically significant. In the case of teachers, it was difficult to respond to problems occurring in each student's individual environment, interactions between students, and individual feedback problems for a sluggish student. To solve this problem, opinions such as preliminary guidance and verification of real-time video class connection environment, error support for sluggish students and individual class participation environment, and feedback on individual tasks using LMS were suggested.
