  • 환경의 급격한 변화속에서 혁신할 수 있는 조직의 능력이란 조직의 생존을 의미한다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구에서는 최근에 총체적인 혁신전략으로서 각광 받고 있는 학습조직이론을 도서관조직의 새로운 혁신기법으로 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 본 연구에서는 학습조직의 개념정립과 학습조직 등장의 시대적 배경, 그리고 학습조직의 구축요소와 구축단계와 함께 최근의 학술도서관의 재조직 경향과 학습조직이론간의 관련성에 대해 논하고 있다. 단, 본 연구는 앞으로 전개될 경험적 연구의 기초로서 개념의 변별 타당도 확보 차원의 이론 연구라고 할 수 있으면, 앞으로 다양한 학습조직 구축방법 등을 활용하여 실제로 도서관들을 진단하고 이들을 학습조직으로 전환시키는 사례연구들이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

Review of Six Stages Theory of Learning Mathematics Suggested by Zoltan Dienes (Zoltan Dienes의 수학학습 6단계 이론의 재음미)

  • This article tried to review the meaning and implication of six stages theory of learning mathematics suggested by Zoltan Dienes in "Building up Mathematics" in 1971. It was not much concretely known to Korean mathematics education society. In particular, there is no mathematical example which could cover all the stages to know what the theory tells. So this article focused on the example which Dienes developed for learning integers in 2000 to dig the theory. As a result, some critical aspects and problems of six stages theory were found. And finally educational implication was described.

The Educational Implementation of e-Learning System Applying the Theory of Motivation - With Focus on "Interest" and the "Self-Determination Theory" (동기 이론이 적용된 e-Learning system의 교육적 실천: 흥미와 SDT를 중심으로)

  • This study examines and measures the enhancement of intrinsic motivation in learners who have been part of the e-Learning system (www.englishbuddy.kr) for elementary-level English learning, developed based on the systematic application of the motivation theory as dictated by 'interest' and 'self-determination' and put into practice at 3,100 private tutoring institutions. According to the survey conducted on 328 learners in the e-Learning system inspired by the motivation theory and on 150 learners in other English programs, the former was found to have stimulated 'interest' and satisfied 'psychological desire' in the learners, leading to the development of 'specific strategies to motivate learners.' The study has clearly identified how learners are better motivated in the e-Learning environment, demonstrating its contributions to advancing e-Learning, building a practical e-Learning system based on a systematic motivation theory defined by 'interest' and 'self-determination,' and applying the system to some 16,000 learners at 3,100 private tutoring institutions.

  • 인터넷 기술의 발달에 따라 교육분야에서도 이를 도입하고 있다. 또한, 웹을 기반으로 하는 문제학습 시스템에서는 피험자의 학습효과를 높이려는 방법으로 학습결과를 반영하는 문항분석 이론이 연구되고 있다. 그러나, 기존의 웹 기반 학습시스템은 대부분 일방적인 학습내용의 제공이나 반복적인 학습에 그치고 있어 학습자의 학습효과를 기대하기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 문항분석이론 중 문항난이도를 이용한 학습단계별 웹 코스웨어를 설계 및 구현하였다. 학습단계 설정은 문항난이도의 결과에 따라 상.중.하의 단계로 나뉘어 학습자가 학습을 하기 전에 선택 할 수 있도록 하였다.

Design and Implementation of License Web Courseware based on the Cognitive Apprenticeship Theory (인지적 도제이론에 기반한 자격증 웹 코스웨어 설계 및 구현)

  • This study applies the cognitive apprenticeship theory a representative learning theory of constructivism. to design and create a web courseware for data device operator license. to enable research that begins with peripheral participation in Problem solving and ends with full participation and initiative, to act as a medium for assisting students in learning, to enable adaptation to actual situations through simulation studies, to allow aggressive interaction, and to help reinforce the level of data processing with regard to learning. The student was made to evaluate learning materials at real time for feedback on insufficient areas, to enable effective learning. The study was done by offering a web courseware without applying the cognitive apprenticeship theory and a web courseware with the cognitive apprenticeship theory, which was followed by an evaluation on study achievement level and learning behavior and then a survey was done after the evaluations. The results of this study were first, the learning group with web courseware applying cognitive apprenticeship theory showed more effect in improving learning achievement than the group with web courseware without the cognitive apprenticeship theory. Secondly, learning with web courseware applying cognitive apprenticeship theory was more effective for improving learning behavior.

  • Online games are getting more popular among today's fun-seeking young students. The immersive power of these Internet-based games is so strong that many educators consider the integration of the games and learning to enhance learner motivation. However, the online games, which are primarily aiming g for 'fun', have cognitive, emotional, and social features and impacts that are different from the so-called 'educational' games. Therefore an interdisciplinary approach for better understanding of the online game in regard to its impact on learning and fun should be essential. In this study, the researcher will analyze relevant literature and theories from cognitive psychology, media and communication theory, and Ludology to grasp holistic understanding of online game phenomena, which will serve as basis of further research and development in this emerging area.

  • To offer insights in organizing professional development programs to promote teachers' substantial ongoing learning, this paper provides an overview of situative perspectives in terms of cognition as situated, cognition as social, and cognition as distributed. Then, it describes research findings on how mathematics teachers can enhance their knowledge and thus improve their instructional practices through participation in a professional development program that mainly provides opportunities to learn and analyze students' mathematical thinking and to perform mathematical tasks through which they interpret the understanding of students' mathematical thinking. Further, it shows that a knowledge of students' mathematical thinking is a powerful tool for teacher learning. In addition, it suggests that teacher-researcher and teacher-teacher collaborative activities influence considerably teachers' understanding and practice as such collaborations help teachers understand new ideas of teaching and develop innovative instructional practices.

  • 기존의 인터넷과 컴퓨터 등의 발달로 교육현장에서도 많은 WBI (Web-Based Instruct ion)들이 개발되고 사용되고 있으나 교육사이트의 컨텐츠를 살펴보면 대부분이 행동주의 심리학에 근거를 둔 프로그램 형태를 벗어나지 못하고 있어서 학습자에게 의미있는 학습을 유발시키기 보다는 제시된 정보의 기계적 재생에 그치고 있다는 비판을 받고 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하는 대안으로는 학습자의 외형적이고 기계적인 면보다는 학습자의 인지활동을 강조하는 인지론적 접근이 필요하다고 본다. 인지심리학의 이러한 측면을 잘 반영하는 학습이론으로서 발견학습 이론을 들 수 있다. 발견학습을 적용시킨 모듈부분은 사용자의 편의에 따라 활용하지 않고 그래프의 탐색이 가능하도록 설계되므로 교사 개개인 수업의 형태에 따라 다양하게 적용할 수 있다. 따라서 온라인과 오프라인상의 모든 현장에서 교수-학습지도에 기절할 것이다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to perceive the problems of current geometry education in the middle school mathematics, to develop some learning materials fitted for the mathematising activities based on Freudenthal's learning theories and to analyze the mathematising process followed by teaching-learning activities. For this purpose, we design activity-oriented learning materials for geometry based on Freudenthal's learning theories, and appropriate teaching-learning models are established for the middle school geometry at the 8-NA stage level according to the theory of van Hiele's geometry learning steps. After applied to the practical lessons, the effects of mathematical activities are analyzed.
