Research Areas and Trends in Articles on Pediatric and Adolescent Tuberculosis in Korea (국내 소아청소년 결핵 관련 논문의 연구 영역과 동향)

  • Purpose: Despite the decline in tuberculosis (TB) incidence and mortality rates in the Republic of Korea through a national TB control program, TB remains one of the most critical infectious diseases in Korean children. We investigated the trends and research areas of published articles on TB in Korean children and adolescents. Methods: In 6 Korean and overseas databases, we searched titles and abstracts including "tuberculo*" or "TB," "child*" or "adolescen*" or "neonat*" or "infant*" or "pediatric*," and "korea*." The publication type, publication year, research areas, journal title, and research subjects were analyzed. Results: Out of the 257 searched documents, 120 papers were included in the analysis. Of these, 82 were original articles (68.3%), 33 case reports (27.5%), 4 review articles (3.3%), and 1 guideline (0.8%). In the original articles, the most common subject of studies was the clinical characteristics of patients with TB (36.6%), followed by diagnostics (29.3%), contact investigations (9.8%), epidemiology (6.1%), treatment (4.9%), vaccine (3.6%), latent TB infection (3.6%), complications (3.6%), and surveys on perception of TB (2.4%). From 1962, 4 articles were published in the 1960s, 10 articles in the 1970s, 11 articles in the 1980s, 22 articles in the 1990s, 26 articles in the 2000s, and 47 articles since 2010. Conclusions: The amount of research on TB in Korean children has increased over the past 5 decades; however, it has mainly focused on the clinical characteristics and diagnostics. Research in different areas, such as treatment and vaccine, is needed in the future.

Advanced Neighbor Embedding based on Support Vector Regression (SVR에 기반한 개선된 네이버 임베딩)

  • Example based Super Resolution(SR) is using the correspondence between the low and high resolution image from a database. This method uses only one image to estimate a high resolution image and can get the larger image than 2 times. Example based SR is proposed to solve the problem of classical SR. Neighbor embedding(NE) has been inspired by manifold learning method, particularly locally linear embedding. However, the poor generalization of NE decreases the performance of such algorithm. The sizes of local training sets are always too small to improve the performance of NE. We propose the advanced NE baesd on SVR having an excellent generalization ability to solve this problem. Given a low resolution image, we estimate a pixel in its high resolution version by using SVR based NE. Through experimental results, we quantitatively and qualitatively confirm the improved results of the proposed algorithm when comparing with conventional interpolation methods and NE.

  • 생태학 분야에서는 생물의 분포, 변동, 서식환경요인의 변화, 등의 여러 종류의 데이터들이 수집되고 있는데 데이터의 형태가 다양하여 데이터의 관리와 활용형태도 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 근래에 들어 각 종 측정기기들이 개발되면서 생태조사 분야에서도 데이터의 양이 급증하는 시점에 있다. 수생태계 분야에서도 전통적인 생물상조사의 데이터는 크게 증가하지 않고 있지만 자동측정센서가 개발된 항목의 경우에는 데이터가 급증하는 단계에 있다. 수생태계에서 흔히 조사되는 플랑크톤의 군집구조 자료를 보면 하나의 조사대상 시료에서 출현하는 종의 수가 50 종정도에 이르며 각 개체의 종을 육안으로 확인하고 있으므로 종조성조사는 아직 자동화가 어렵다. 그러므로 플랑크톤 자료의 특성은 조사의 시료수(case)는 적고 측정항목(변수 variable)이 많은 특성을 가진다. 반면에 센서가 개발된 수질과 관련된 항목들은 자동측정설비가 확대되고 있어 변수는 적지만 장기간의 time series 들이 수집되고 있다. 녹조현상이 관심을 끌면서 여러 곳에 식물플랑크톤의 양을 측정하는 chlorophyll 센서가 설치되고 있는 것이 대표적인 사례이다. 그 외에 정량화되지 못하는 정성적 자료들도 수집되고 있으며 자료수집방법의 표준화도 미흡한 예가 많이 있고, 자료의 형태가 다양하여 데이터의 관리와 활용을 어렵게 한다. 환경부는 전국의 주요 하천 지점에서 정기적으로 수질을 측정하여 공개하고 있으며, 일부 지점에는 자동수질측정시설을 설치하여 측정의 빈도를 높이고 있다. 하천이나 호수에서 센서를 이용한 고빈도 모니터링은 그 동안 인지하지 못하였던 단기적 생태계 변화에 대해 새로운 정보를 제공하여 연구의 장르를 넓혀 가고 있다. 도시하천에서 산소를 측정한 사례를 보면 강우 시에 일시적으로 산소가 고갈되는 현상이 관찰되며, 부영양한 호수와 하천에서는 주야간 산소의 급격한 변동이 생태계 스트레스 요인으로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 식물플랑크톤 센서의 연구에 의해 단기적인 변동이 크게 나타나고 있음이 새로이 밝혀지기도 하였다. 데이터의 수집과 활용도를 높이려는 노력도 이루어지고 있다. 과거에는 개인단위로 이루어지던 연구가 이제는 데이터를 수집하고 공유하는 플랫폼이 만들어 지면서 공동연구가 확대되고 있고, 국제적으로 지역을 초월하는 공동연구도 가능하게 되었다. 국제호수관측망학회(Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network, GLEON)이 그 사례이며 세계 여러 나라의 학자들이 참여하여 국제적으로 데이터를 공유하고 공동연구를 촉진하는 역할을 하고 있다. 생태계데이터의 증가는 생태학자들의 연구역량을 초과하는 데이터의 관리와 활용의 능력을 요구할 것이며 환경 생태 IT 분야의 융합연구의 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 그간 데이터베이스의 구축에는 일부 성과가 있었으나 아직 수집된 데이터의 활용도를 높이고 타분야와의 협력연구 시너지를 확대하려는 노력은 부족하다. 이제는 데이터의 수집과 저장뿐 아니라 데이터의 활용도를 높일 수 있도록 학제적 협력연구를 촉진하는 off-line 모임도 확대할 때이다.

Related Factors of Problem Behaviors among Students of Multicultural Family in Korea: A Systematic Review (한국 다문화 가정 학생의 문제행동 관련 요인에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • This study was conducted to review the literature and examine the factors related to problem behaviors among students of multicultural families in Korea. A systematic review of the literature was conducted using domestic documents retrieved through July 4, 2018 based on online searches of domestic databases (the Research Information Sharing Service, Korean Studies Information Service System and the National Diet Library). A total of 2,084 studies were searched, and 21 studies were used for analysis. The factors related to problem behaviors were related to individual factors (gender, school record, self-esteem, etc.), family factors (family type, parent support, mothers' enculturation stress, etc.) and environmental factors (friend support, teacher support, social support). The variables measured the problem behaviors among students of multicultural families were school life adjustment (10), psychological, social adjustment or maladjustment (4), and emotional problem behavior (3). Overall, the results indicate that social and policy efforts are needed to improve individual, family, and environmental factors based on more specific and consistent theoretical definitions related to problem behaviors among students of multicultural families in Korea.

Construction of a Sub-catchment Connected Nakdong-gang Flood Analysis System Using Distributed Model (분포형 모형을 이용한 소유역 연계 낙동강 홍수해석시스템 구축)

  • 본 논문에서는 분포형 강우-유출 모형인 GRM(Grid based Rainfall-runoff Model)(최윤석, 김경탁, 2017)을 이용해서 낙동강 유역을 대상으로 대유역 홍수해석시스템을 구축하고, 유출해석을 위한 실행시간을 평가하였다. 유출모형은 낙동강의 주요 지류와 본류를 소유역으로 구분하여 모형을 구축하고, 각 소유역의 유출해석 결과를 실시간으로 연계할 수 있도록 하여 낙동강 전체 유역의 유출모형을 구축하였다. 이와 같이 하나의 대유역을 다수의 소유역시스템으로 분할하여 모형을 구축할 경우, 유출해석시스템 구성이 복잡해지는 단점이 있으나, 소유역별로 각기 다른 자료를 이용하여 다양한 해상도로 유출해석을 할 수 있으므로, 소유역별 특성에 맞는 유출모형 구축이 가능한 장점이 있다. 또한 각 소유역시스템은 별도의 프로세스로 계산이 진행되므로, 대유역을 고해상도로 해석하는 경우에도 계산시간을 단축할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 낙동강 유역을 20개(본류 구간 3개, 1차 지류 13개, 댐상류 4개)의 소유역으로 분할하여 계산 시간을 검토하였으며, 최종적으로 21개(본류 구간 3개, 1차 지류 13개, 댐상류 5개)의 소유역으로 분할하여 유출해석시스템을 구축하였다. 댐 상류 유역은 댐하류와 유량전달이 없이 독립적으로 모의되고, 댐과 연결된 하류 유역은 관측 방류량을 상류단 하천의 경계조건으로 적용한다. 지류 유역은 본류 구간과 연결되고, 지류의 계산 유량은 본류와의 연결지점에 유량조건으로 실시간으로 입력된다. 이때 본류와 지류의 유량 연계는 데이터베이스를 매개로 하였다. 유출해석시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 Microsoft 클라우드 서비스인 Azure를 이용하였다. 낙동강 유역을 20개 소유역으로 구성한 경우에서의 유출해석시스템의 속도 평가 결과 Azure virtual machine instance DS15 v2(OS : Windows Server 2012 R2, CPU : 2.4 GHz Intel $Xeon^{(R)}$ E5-2673 v3 20 cores)에서 1.5분이 소요 되었다. 계산시간 평가시 GRM은 'IsParallel=false' 옵션을 적용하였으며, 모의 기간은 24시간을 기준으로 하였다. 연구결과 분포형 모형을 이용한 대유역 유출해석시스템 구축이 가능했으며, 계산시간도 충분히 단축할 수 있었다. 또한 추가적인 CPU와 병렬계산을 적용할 경우, 계산시간은 더 단축될 수 있으며, 이러한 기법들은 분포형 모형을 이용한 대유역 유출해석시스템 구축시 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Research Trends on Achievement Emotion (성취정서의 국내외 연구동향)

  • The achievement emotion experienced by students in their academic settings is directly related with achievement activities or results. As the focuses of researches in the educational psychology have been extended to students' motives and emotion, the achievement emotion is also actively studied in Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyze researches on the achievement emotion according to social/cultural backgrounds by dividing them into domestic and foreign ones and understand flow and trend of the researches by structuring them. On the basis of the findings, it also aims to provide fundamental data necessary to examine the achievement emotion matched for academic settings in Korea. The objects of this study include a total of 105 domestic (n=47) and foreign (n=58) journal articles. The criteria of analysis are divided into period, contents and method of the study: the study was conducted without control of period; the contents include variables and achievement situations; and the method includes design and type of study, analysis methods, measurement tools and objects. The descriptive statistics of the materials were estimated by using the SPSS, and were analyzed by dividing them into domestic and foreign ones. The findings show that the researches on achievement emotion can be divided into examinations of the development of achievement emotion scale and those of the relationship between related variables. Thus, the conclusion suggests comprehensive discussions by arranging the trends of researches on the development of achievement emotion scale and the relationship between related variables.

Research Trends Analysis in the field of Overseas Public Library Programs based on Keyword Profiling (키워드 프로파일링에 기초한 국외 공공도서관 프로그램 분야의 연구 동향 분석)

  • Today, public libraries are contributing deeply to our society by strengthening their ability and services to identify and respond to users' needs through various programs. However, it is difficult to find a study that analyzed the research status of public library programs or changes over time. Therefore, for the purpose of systematically grasping research trends in the field of overseas public library programs, an intellectual structure analysis based on keyword profiling was performed. Specifically, subject terms analysis, network analysis and cluster analysis, and analysis by period/year were performed based on the controlled keywords (subject terms) of journal articles papers searched in the LISTA database. As a result, first, it was found that 9 subjects corresponding to all global/hot/local topics are leading the research in the field of overseas public library programs. Second, five research areas in the field of overseas public library programs(cultural programs, outreach programs, activity programs, public services, community) could be visualized and clearly identified. Third, research in the field of overseas public library programs began in earnest in the late 1990s and was active from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s, and after that, it was found to be somewhat stagnant until recently. This study is the result of specifically identifying research trends on programs that recently emerged as a major task of public libraries, and can be used as basic data and prior knowledge to explore the development direction of public library programs in the future.

Current Status and Development Direction Through a Review of Yoga Therapy Literature (요가치료 문헌 고찰을 통해 본 현황과 발전 방향)

  • Background: Integrative medical research is needed to explore the development direction of new yoga therapy. Purposes: A systematic literature review is conducted to analyze the current status of clinical research on yoga therapy into scientific categories, and to explore the content and development direction of yoga therapy. Methods: Through electronic databases such as RISS, NDSL, DBpia, e-article, and KISS, 530 domestic academic papers were selected from 2010 to 2018 and the final 28 were extracted based on PRISMA guidelines. Results: As a result of the study, in terms of quality, it remained at 3b of the CEBM level of evidence, and in terms of quantity, the number of experimental groups in the entire clinical study was 288, so domestic clinical studies of yoga therapy are insufficient. It was found that 80% of yoga therapy was exercise therapy focusing on asana movements. This seems to be due to a lot of researchers in the field of physical education. Conclusions: These results indicate that understanding and practice of the Ashtanga-yoga's training system and Pancha-kosha theory from the perspective of integrative medicine are necessary. In other words, yoga therapy is required to develop into an integrated mind-body therapy program that integrates holistic healing yoga based on individual mental and physical constitution, meditation therapy based on Ayurveda, and exercise therapy.

An Overview of Research Trends in 'Aesthetic Science-Education': Focused on Bibliographic Analysis Using Bibliometrix Package in the R Program (미적 과학교육 연구 동향 분석 -R 프로그램의 Bibliometrix 패키지를 활용한 상세 서지분석을 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to identify the trends in 'Aesthetic Science-Education' research through bibliographic analysis and provide future implications for research in this field. To this research, 100 studies were extracted using the search function of the Web of Science provided by Clarivate Analytics. Detailed bibliometrics was analyzed using the Bibliometrix package of the R program. As a result of the analysis, the average number of papers increased from 1993 to 2022, and academic journals in which related papers were published were evenly distributed locally. As a result of keyword analysis, papers with top citations, author collaboration networks, and literature co-citation networks, Aesthetic Science-Education could be classified as inducing aesthetic experience by integrating art in science education, and categories using 'formalist aesthetic' and 'emotional response'. The implications derived from this study are as follows: first, the aesthetic aspects of science should be actively studied to emphasize 'Agency' and 'Active Learning' in future science education. Second, it is necessary to develop a new approach to science education by further utilizing the 'formalist aesthetic' of science in science education. Third, the aesthetic aspect of science can change the perception of the Nature of Science of teachers, pre-service science teachers, and students. Fourth, it is necessary to discover implications for utilizing aesthetic aspects in science education through extensive research on the aesthetic aspects of science for teachers, students, and pre-service teachers. This study is meaningful because it provides an overview of the 'Aesthetic Science-Education' research to realize the above implications.

Transition Program for Youth With Disabilities: Research Trend Analysis and Systematic Review (장애청소년의 전환프로그램 : 연구 동향 분석과 체계적 고찰)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to provide basic data on intervention strategies that occupational therapists can access by systematically analyzing the intervention and effectiveness for youth with disabilities. Methods : The RISS, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were used to search for papers published between 2006 and 2021. The keywords were "Disability AND Adolescents OR Young adult AND Transition education OR Transition program". Seven papers were selected for analysis, and the full text was reviewed. The keywords and national relations were analyzed and visualized using the WoS (Web of Science) and VOSviewer programs. Results : The participants were classified into five types (ASD or ADHD, ID, DD, and physical disability). The areas used for the intervention were mixed into three categories: occupation (academic), self-management (time), and interaction (personal relations and communication). Sociality and adaptation, quality of life, and at least one of the three categories of daily life activities showed significant improvement. Conclusions : This study can be used as basic data to expand the area where only OTs can contribute while grasping the research trend of the conversion program and presenting the direction of exchange with various experts by organizing the application and its effects.
