본 연구의 목적은 한국의 문헌정보학에서 현재까지 수행된 여성관련연구를 분석하고 새로운 접근점을 모색하기 위한 시도이다. 문헌정보학에서 여성은 정보생산자, 정보이용자, 정보관리자의 범주에서 재현되고 있으며, 종래의 문헌정보현상에서 불가시화된 여성을 적극적으로 해석할 새로운 수용적인 분석틀이 요구된다.

The purposes of this study were to identify core journals for pharmaceutical researches in Korea and to examine the research domains of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Journal citation frequency analysis and journal co-citation analysis were performed on the research papers of Korean pharmaceutical researchers. Korean researchers' citation data were gathered from SCOPUS for foreign journals and KSCD for domestic journals. 116 core journals were identified through citation frequency analysis and journal relationships were suggested as a pathfinder network of journals. Factor analysis on journal correlation matrix resulted in 18 subject domains and related journal lists were also given.

인터넷과 웹 기술의 발전은 전자도서관의 목록정보나 목차정보서비스에서 원문정보서비스로의 변화를 주도하고 있다. 그러나 대학에서 생산하는 학문적 가치가 높은 학술지들은 웹을 통해 원문으로 서비스되고 있지만 상이한 OPAC 시스템과 목록을 위한 통일된 메타데이터의 부재로 원문정보를 공유$.$활용하기가 매우 힘든 실정이다. 본 고에서는 각 대학에서 생산하고 구축된 원문정보를 메타데이터 기반의 목록시스템을 이용하여 모든 대학의 학술지 논문정보를 검색하여 공유할 수 있는 분담목록시스템모형을 제시함으로써 대학 학술지 이용의 효율적 방안을 모색 해보고자 한다.

이 연구는 공공부문이 구축/관리중인 지식정보자원의 시민활용 실태를 점검하고 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원의 시민활용성 제고방안 모색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시의 시민 200 명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도/활용도/활용장애요인과 유비쿼터스 기술에 대한 인지도/활용도/유용성을 조사하였고, 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 공공행정, 교육학술, 사회문화/복지, 생활경제 등 4 대부문 16 개분야 32 개의 지식정보자원에 대한 시민활용 의향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도와 활용도는 보통보다 낮은 수준에 있으며, 그 이유로는 개인정보유출에 대한 불안, 지식정보자원 소재에 대한 정보부족, 지식정보자원 활용 비용의 부담 및 활용의 불편 등으로 나타났다. 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원 활용의향에 대해서는 실생활과 밀접한 관련을 갖고 있는 교통/기상정보, U-Care 및 U-Health 정보, 금융, 공연예술, 관광여가 등의 정보에 대해서는 높은 의향을 보이나, 실생활과 직접 관련이 적고 전문적인 능력이나 관심이 요구되는 행정정보공개, 정책참여, U-학술연구 등에 대해서는 낮은 의향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

웹 학술정보자원의 급속한 증가 및 이용도의 증가로 인하여 이들 자원의 원활한 활용을 위한 체계 마련이 시급하다. 본 연구는 인터넷에 산재해 있는 웹 학술정보자원에 대한 효율적인 DB구축을 위한 기초작업으로서 웹 학술정보자원에 한정된 메타데이터 세트 추출과정과 모형제시 및 각 메타데이터 요소에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 메타데이터 요소 추출은 세계적으로 통용되는 메타데이터 세트의 분석과 매핑 작업 및 웹 학술정보자원의 구축을 위해 필요하다고 판단되는 요소를 추가하였으며 메타데이터 요소의 분석은 더블린 코어의 기본 15개 요소에 기저하여 실시하였다.

정보검색분야의 여러 기술들을 연구하고 이 결과들을 실험 평가하기 위해서는 모든 연구자들이 공동으로 사용할 수 있는 시험용 데이터 모음(Test Data Collection)이 필요하다. 외국에서는 이미 오래전부터 각 분야별 시험용 데이터 모음들을 준비하여 검색시스팀의 개발 및 객관적인 성능평가에 이용하여 왔는데 국내에서는 아직까지 이러한 시험용 데이터 모음이 개발되지 못한 실정이다. 본 연구는 한국어 정보검색 기술연구 활성화에 기여하기 위하여 한국어정보검색 기술 연구결과의 성능평가에 공동으로 활용할 수 있는 국내 최초의 시험용 데이터 모음인 KTSET을 개발하였다. KTSET은 정보과학회와 정보관리학회지의 논문지 및 학술대회 논문집으로부터 추출된 1,053개의 논문과 이를 검색대상으로 한 50개의 자연어질의어로 구성되었으며 대상문서들과 질의어 각각에 대한 색인결과와 질의어와 대상문서들간의 적합도 정보를 제공한다.

인터넷 이용 경험이 적은 초보자뿐만 아니라 경험자도 인터넷에서 자신에게 필요한 정보를 찾기는 쉽지 않다. 인터넷 정보자원은 급증하는 반면 인터넷 검색엔진이 원하는 정보를 찾아주는 확률은 오히려 줄어들고 있는데 이는 체계적으로 정리되어 있지 않기 때문이다. 본 연구는 인터넷의 잔문 즉 웹브라우저를 실행한 후 처음 접속하는 사이트인 포털사이트(Portal site)를 전문화하여 궁극적으로 포털을 정보이용의 최종 목적지가 될 수 있는 모형을 설계하였다. 이 모형은 도서관이 보유하고 있는 학술정보 뿐만 아니라 인터넷의 정보자원을 체계적으로 정리하고 부가서비스를 제공하여 이용자의 정보이용 편의성을 높이는데 있다.

In a qualitative approach, this study investigated users' perceptions associated with their satisfactions in the process of using the scholarly resource search functions of the academic version of the NAVER search engine. For this study, the data was collected from a group of undergraduate students, who conducted academic information searches in the field of own major disciplinary areas, using the Web portal. Based on the data, students' satisfactions and dissatisfactions along with the reasons of their perceptions were analyzed. The results presented users' perceptions in various evaluation criteria based on the three major domains: system interfaces, retrieval mechanisms and search results. Based on the results, the study proposed the following suggestions: 1) the enhancements of the system interfaces and HELP guidances based the limited user knowledge on basic system terminologies 2) the improvements of the retrieval mechanisms associated with understanding the contexts of the search terms presented by users 3) the necessity of the user education due to the insufficient user knowledge of the retrieval mechanisms and the search functions.

This study examines the way of making use of the science journals sharing with many users, who even do not work for the same institute. It may help to make the information as much as available with minimum financial burden to users. This is needed expecially when we recognize the fact that the amount of information supply is being increased rapidly while the financial environments around us are becoming aggravated.

Research and Development projects sponsored by the government are one of the main production sectors of academic and research information in domestic area. The access control and information service of R&D outcomes should be considered as a critical factor of nation-wide knowledge-based IS management. This study focused on the practical utilities of three IPR legislations of the government projects and analyzed if they are good enough to support the information service in recent digital network environment. Some suggestions in different perspectives were provided for the improvement of the existed IPR legislation.
