The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference between motivation and learning strategies of students who have received academic probation and who have not while attending engineering college. The subjects of this study were engineering college students in Seoul and they participated in the learning strategy test at the teaching and learning center. The subjects of this study were 553 students, 22 of whom received academic probation and 531 didn't. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we used MLST (Multi-dimensional Learning Strategy test) learning strategy checklists of Korea Guidance, which is a standardized test. A t-test was conducted to compare motivational and learning strategies between students with and without academic probation. As a result, the motivation score of the students with the academic probation was lower than that of those without the academic probation, and the score of the time management and note taking factors of the students with the academic probation were lower than those of the students without the academic probation.

The academic information system of a university is the core system of the university, and since it has to manage all the various activities in the university, such as student academic records, it becomes complicated every year and the data increases indiscriminately. As a result, the reliability of the data of the academic information system is lowered, which causes communication problems with users and may cause a major failure in the system. Therefore, in this paper, column attribute analysis, allowable value list analysis, string pattern analysis, date type analysis, and unique value analysis methods were designed for the academic information system using the data profiling technique of data quality management. In the implementation stage, the script was implemented using the above five analysis methods, and by executing the script, errors by type of the academic information system were found, the cause of the error was found and corrected inside the system, and the probability of internal system failure was lowered.

The purpose of this study is to explore the predictors of academic probation in college. Especially, this study focused on student engagement variables among the predictors of academic probation in college. Student engagement variables include hours of absence from class and numbers of log to LMS(Learning Management System) and in extracurricular program system during four weeks after the opening of a course and the numbers of faculty counseling. GPA(grade Point Average) is a dependent variable and GPA of prior semester is a control variable in this study. 17,261 student data were collected for the study. Linear regression model and logistic regression model analyses were conducted in the study. The finding showed that the hours of absence from class and numbers of log in extracurricular program system during four weeks after the opening of a course predicted academic achievement of college students. The result also indicated that hours of absence from class and numbers of log-ins to LMS(Learning Management System) and in extracurricular program system during four weeks after the opening of a course were the predictors of academic probation in college. This study will contribute to investigate indicators of students with low academic performance and to provide proper support for underachievers.

Even though the rapid development of IT technique accelerates informationization for quality improvement of university, security measures are needed for security problems because the major information related to academic affairs is centered on academic database. In this paper, we research and analyze the actual condition of database security of domestic university to develop process model that can consistently keep and improve the security of academic database which is the most important data in university. Also, considering the situation that a lot of universities can't use database security product, we propose details that implement the most important key part like confidentiality with the function that DBMS provides only.

협업 필터링은 사용자들간의 집단 지성에 기반한 추천 알고리즘이다. 다양한 시스템에 쓰이고 있는 협업 필터링과 그 장단점에 대해서 알아본다. 그리고 본 논문에서는 기존의 학사 관리 시스템에 협업 필터링을 적용한 새로운 학사관리 시스템을 제안한다.

사회 구조가 날로 복잡해짐에 따라 현대는 보다 노련하고 보다 높은 지식층의 개인에 대한 요구가 점차 증가하게 되었으며 이러한 사회적 경향은 전문직의 발전에 박차를 가하게 되었다. 본 논문의 목적은 한국 간호원들의 등록 간호원 학사 편입제도에 대한 의견을 조사 발표하는 것으로 질문지를 이용한 서술적 방법에 의한 연구 조사이다. 본 논문의 대상이 되었던 113명의 한국 간호원들 중 특히 학사 출신 간호원들은 간호 교직을 그들의 생의 목표로 삼는 경향이 더욱 두드러 지는데 비해 3년제 간호학교 출신 간호원들은 간호직 외에 보다 넓은 분야에서 그들의 생의 목표를 찾는 경향이 보였다. 질문에 응해준 간호원들의 대부분은 한국에 있어서 등록 간호원 학사 편입제도의 가치와 필요성에 대해서 지대한 관심과 갖고저 하는 희망을 보여 주었고 특히 3년제 간호학교 출신 간호원들은 이 제도에 대한 시급한 필요성과 큰 가치에 적극 호응하는 가장 높은 교육열을 보여 주었다.

인터넷의 발달과 함께 많은 부분에서 이를 응용하려는 노력이 지속되고 있다. 이에 학사행정업무에서도 이를 응용하여, 원거리의 학생에 관한 학교업무에 편리성과 효율성을 주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전체 학사행정업무 중에서 성적조회와 수강신청 및 변경에 관한 업무를 온라인 상에서 할 수 있도록 하는 학사지원시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이는, 크게 학생모드와 관리자 모드로 나누었으며, 학생모드에서는 성적조회와 수강신청을 하도록 하고 관리자모드에서는 수강기간을 입력 및 변경할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위하여, 본 시스템분석에서는 UML을 이용하였고, 시스템 개발에서는 ASP를 이용하였으며 데이터베이스는 MS-ACCESS를 이용하였다. 또한, 웹 문서의 효율적인 활용을 위하여 Java Script 언어를 사용하였다.

최근 금융권에서 전산망에 있는 자료가 대규모로 손상되어 수일에 걸쳐 전체 또는 일부 서비스 이용이 마비된 금융 대란 사건이 발생했다. 대학의 학사행정 정보시스템은 금융권의 전산망 보다 안정성이 더욱 취약한 것이 사실이다. 본 논문은 재난 복구에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 재난 복구의 유형화의 주요 내용을 살펴보고 대학의 학사행정 정보시스템이 장애가 발생했을 때 MS 윈도우 기반 PC에서 업무가 수행될 수 있도록 가용성을 확보할 수 있는 백업시스템을 설계하였다.

최근 대학 모바일 구축 환경의 트랜드가 변화하면서 네이티브 앱과 모바일 웹의 장점을 가진 하이브리드 앱의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 현재 대학생들을 위한 공지사항, 취업정보, 학사 정보, 식당 메뉴, 교통정도 등의 정보를 보여주는 애플리케이션에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일에서 접근할 수 없었던 학사정보를 모바일 하이브리드 환경에서의 애플리케이션 앱을 설계하고 개발하였다.

현재 대학업무는 크게 학사와 행정 업무로 분류할 수 있다. 모든 대학에서는 이 업무들을 신속하고 정확하게 처리하기 위해 학사 업무를 클라이언트 서버 환경에서 전산화하여 사용하고 있다. 최근 컴퓨터 네트워크의 발전과 WWW의 확산으로 클라이언트 서버환경의 시스템에 대한 여러 문제점과 시대적으로 사용자에게 보다 친숙하고 편리한 서비스 강화 측면을 고려하여 학사, 행정 업무 처리는 학교 내에 국한되지 않고 시간과 공간을 초월하여 정보제공이 가능한 환경에서 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문은 대학의 모든 학사, 행정 업무를 웹 환경에서 구현한 개발모델 사례를 소개함으로써 현재 추진중이거나 계획하고 있는 시스템의 현안과 문제점에 대한 시행착오를 줄이고 개발 시스템의 사례정보를 공유하고자 하는데 연구의 의의를 두고자 한다.
