Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 'career decision making', 'school career education activities and participation', and 'school career education satisfaction' after 568 high school students. Methods: The subjects were surveyed after the counseling training. Results: 49.3% of the respondents answered that they had "decided but considered" in the "career decision information items" of the questionnaire about the subjects after the school career counseling education. 28.0% of the parents' advice was the most helpful when choosing their career, and 52.2% of the career decision making at school. There were 13 items in 'participation in school career education activity', and the average value was 3.49. The highest score was 3.66 points for "college or major experience" and the lowest score of 3.27 points for career-linked career education. In 'satisfaction with School Career Education', 94.7% of creative experiential activities and 94% of career and vocational courses were enthusiasts, and entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship experience (10.6%) were low. The career decision - making self - efficacy was also high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Conclusions: School career decisions for high school students were effective when they were devoted to parental advice, university experience, creative vocational and career, and vocational education. The career decision - making self - efficacy was high in the group with high satisfaction of career education. Therefore, career counseling education considered adequate if it is devoted to education professionals.

목적: 산업장 안전보건교육에서 근로자의 자발적인 참여는 그 효과와 관련된 핵심적인 도전과제이다. 본 연구는 PRECEDE 모델을 중심으로 일부 제조업 사업장 근로자의 안전보건교육 참여도와 관련된 요인을 규명하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 방법: 전국 133개 제조업체의 450명(50인 미만 사업장 근로자 160명, 50인 이상 사업장 근로자 290명)의 근로자를 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 일반적 특성과 함께 산업재해 및 안전보건교육과 관련된 역학적, 교육적, 생태학적 특성에 관한 문항으로 구성되었다. 결과: PRECEDE 특성 중 대규모 사업장 근로자의 사내 안전보건교육 관련 교육.생태학적 여건이 소규모 사업장 근로자보다 나은 것으로 나타났다. 근로자의 사내 안전보건교육 참여도와 관련된 PRECEDE 특성은 소규모 사업장에서는 안전보건교육 담당자에게 필요한 연수교육요구도, 안전보건교육을 위한 사회적 지지, 전체적인 사내 안전보건관리 수준이었는데, 사업장 규모 50인 이상의 사업장에서는 근로자의 연령, 사내안전보건교육 효능감, 사내교육을 위한 사회적 지지도, 사내 안전보건교육담당자의 교육역량이었다. 결론: 소규모 사업장 근로자의 사내 안전보건교육 참여도와 관련된 요인은 주로 조직 수준의 특성이었는데 반해(사내교육을 위한 환경적, 사회적 지지), 50인 이상 사업장에서 유의미한 특성은 주로 개인 수준의 특성으로(안전보건교육 효능감, 사내교육담당자의 교육역량) 사업장 규모에 따라 다른 양상을 보였다. 이를 기반으로 사업장 규모에 따라 차별화된 사내 안전보건교육 지원이 이루어져야 하겠다.

The purpose of this paper was to develope a model for enhancement of mathematics education using participatory mathematics. Traditionally, mathematics has been considered ready-made and students need to practice it without real applications of mathematics. The 6th grade students in the two classrooms participated in the 60 class hours and the researcher and observers investigated students' achievements and reactions. In this model, students actively apply mathematics to real-life problems and futhermore change our life, which is one of the unique elements. Thus, students can experience mathematical power while they do mathematics. Every student need to experience with this model several times in a semester so that he or she can be active a citizen to change society a better place.

Library professionals should do their best themselves to develop libraries in the diversified society of 21st century. This study suggests library professionals' participation on library related committees and advocacy to develop libraries. If library professionals participating on library related committees bring understanding of other committee members to the importance of the role of libraries and librarians, this effort results the development of an individual library and the all libraries in Korea. This study examines how to develop libraries by the library professionals' participation on the committees of public and academic libraries and school committees and advocacy.

The goal of this study was to investigate the implementation and related issues of the school space innovation issued by key Korean mass media using text mining. To accomplish this goal, this study collected 519 news articles associated with the school space innovation issued by 54 Korean mass media companies. Based on this data, this study performed the frequency analysis and network analysis regarding the keywords. Based on the findings, the characteristics of school space innovation are summarized as follows: First, school space innovation has progressed in response to future education. Second, users are actively participating in school space innovation. Third, experts are supporting the innovation of school space by establishing a cooperative system. Fourth, the community is actively considering the innovation of school space. Fifth, the main projects of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Offices of Education are actively conducted in a mix of top-down and bottom-up approaches. The findings of this study will contribute to providing a clear direction for contemporary school space innovation and implications for future research agenda and implementation.

As to the critical purposes of elementary school education, which are to enhance the basic abilities for learning as well as living and to help children to acquire the desirable style of life, it is needed for teachers to cooperate with children's parents since they are the most affluential people to their children. this paper presents a novel web-based school life information system, which can be exploited as a means to establish a close and well-purposed relationship between parents and teachers and which is intended to induce parents into children's education aggressively by connecting them to teachers directly. This system is expected to be a great help to both teachers and parents in that both sides establish a well-understood and cooperative relationship through this system for solving the probable problems of their children in a effective way.

The purpose of this study is to examine factors influencing career attitude maturity in middle school students. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, Anova, correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS 18.0. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the degree of career attitude maturity in female students is higher than male students. Second, career perception makes a difference in the level of career attitude maturity. Third, career attitude maturity is related to gender, career perception, and career activity satisfaction in middle school students. These results imply that the school should have multiple approaches - providing abundant information and differential program - to improve career perception and career attitude maturity.

The purposes of this study are to explore mother's involvement in children's education and to examine its impacts on the school adjustment of poor family children. A total of 206 low-income mothers with a child attending elementary or middle school completed a structured questionnaire. Overall, the results show that the mothers tend to involve in their children's education to some degree. But the extent of maternal involvement is not uniform across the types of involvement. In order to analyze factors that affect the school adjustment which is measured as grades and attitudes toward school life, regression is perfomed. The mother-child relationship, the expectation for children's educational attainment and the involvement in school activities are found important in predicting the school adjustment of elementary school students. Also, it is found that the discipline including TV monitoring and the matemal expectation are positively associated with the school adjustment of middle school student.

정보과학의 발진은 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 가장 기초적인 정보 과학의 교육이 이루어지는 현행 중등 컴퓨터 교육은 어떠한 교과보다도 창의적인 자기 주도적 학습 및 개별학습이 필요하다. 컴퓨터 활용을 위한 교육보다는 컴퓨터 과학으로서의 컴퓨터 교육이 필요할 뿐 아니라 학생의 학습환경, 학습동기 및 흥미, 선행학습정도, 교과 수업의 참여도 등에 따라 학생 개개인의 능력 차이를 고려한 학습자의 개인의 학습능력에 맞는 수준별 교육이 필요하다. 고등학교 컴퓨터 교과 교육에서의 컴퓨터 과학으로서의 교육효과를 위해 학습자 학습 능력에 맞는 교육과정을 설계하였고 보충학습과 심화학습을 위한 자기 주도적 학습 방법인 웹에서의 학습 방법을 도입하여 학습의 효과를 높이고자 하였다.

Students' engagement in lessons not only determines the direction and result of the lessons, but also affects academic achievement and continuity of follow-up learning. In order to provide implications related to teaching strategies for encouraging students' engagement in elementary mathematics lessons, this study implemented lessons for middle-low achieving fifth graders using open-ended tasks and analyzed characteristics of students' engagement in the light of the framework descripors developed based on previous research. As a result of the analysis, the students showed behavioral engagement in voluntarily answering teacher's questions or enduring difficulties and performing tasks until the end, emotional engagement in actively expressing their pleasure by clapping, standing up and the feelings with regard to the topics of lessons and the tasks, cognitive engagement in using real-life examples or their prior knowledge to solve the tasks, and social engagement in helping friends, telling their ideas to others and asking for friends' opinions to create collaborative ideas. This result suggested that lessons using open-ended tasks could encourage elementary students' engagement. In addition, this research presented the potential significance of teacher's support and positive feedback to students' responses, teaching methods of group activities and discussions, strategies of presenting tasks such as the board game while implementing the lessons using open-ended tasks.
