This article examines actions of the department of a university according to Higher Education Evaluation Policy as a case on the department of Christian education of A University. This article consists of background and policy Higher Education Evaluation and actions of the department of Christian education. Specialization, curriculum, management of instructional quality, educational achievement, student support and cooperation of local community as category of trends of the department of Christian education are discussed. Aim of education, model of human resource, educational objects, and key-competency as the specialization of department of Christian education are discussed. Curriculum of department suggests students career track which is related to their career. Positive guidance counseling are implemented for rate of recruit related to educational achievement. Non-subject matter program of University and Department are introduced for students's support. 60 hours of educational service and other educational activities are carried out for local community. Principal, chaplain of school and teachers are invited for educational practical affairs of education. The result of this article can be used as a basic reference for the direction of the higher education.

Using the 1st to 5th wave data from Gyeonggi Education Panel Study(GEPS), this study analyzed the change of school effectiveness of middle schools by innovation school expansion in Gyeonggi province. For this purpose, the analysis employed difference-in-difference model with repeated cross-sectional data and the dependent variable was comprised of academic achievement, school satisfaction, creativity, and sense of community. Results showed that the effectiveness of innovation schools had not significantly different from general schools before innovation school expansion but significantly improved in academic achievement and school satisfaction compared to general schools after the policy applied. On the other hand, the school effectiveness in creativity and sense of community not significantly different between innovation and general schools in both before and after. As time passes, the effectiveness of existing innovation schools in the academic achievement was improved and the school satisfaction was maintained. In addition, the effectiveness in satisfaction of the schools was improved as general schools with high effectiveness in academic achievement were transformed into innovation schools. Based on the results, the policy for innovation school expansion was evaluated and the issues related to this policy were discussed.

The purpose of this study was two-fold. Firstly, it investigated the current state of the 34 specific policies of school safety-accident prevention that were implemented at K-12 public schools in accordance with the $1^{st}$ School Safety-Accident Prevention Plan established in December 2015. Secondly, it prioritized the policies based on the outcomes from the investigation to make policy recommendations for future improvement. For this purpose, we surveyed 614 school teachers and staff from 24 school-safety research schools across the nation on their perception of the current policies for preventing school safety accidents. Specifically, they were asked about the degree of realization and the necessity of expansion of the policies. Based on the survey results, the Borich index as a needs measure was computed for each policy and a list of policies prioritized in descending order of the index was presented. The results of the study showed that school teachers and staff's perception of the improvement of school safety since the policies took effect was highly positive in general. It was also shown that the policies perceived as best-implemented were, in descending order, "first-aid education for teachers and staff", "safety management of school meals", "prevention activity of student traffic safety-accident", and so on. The majority of survey respondents said that the policies were being implemented well and that they should be expanded and enhanced. As a result of the Borich's needs analysis, it was found that "more collegial collaboration between the Office of Education and other relevant organizations in the community for school safety", "prevention education activity for water safety", and so forth should be more actively implemented.

The knowledge-based society needs creative and active knowledge workers. To meet the need of this modern society, Korea education begins to focus on reading ability of students and project-based school education. The 7th School Education Program requires performance evaluation, optional activites, and extracurricular activites and the school library is a necessary facility for these educational activities. Ministry of Education of Korea made a master plan to rebuild the school library for The 7th School Education Program. The master plan includes the assistance for the school library facility, school library materials, budget, the library staff. And also the master plan includes promotion for school education in the library to develop the school library as the center of school education.

본 연구는 사학연금의 장기적 재정건전성을 확보하기 위한 재정추계 및 정책평가 방법에 관하여 논의한다. 먼저 재정안정화 시나리오의 설정에 있어서 기간간 예산제약식을 이용하여 장기적으로 균제상태(steady state)를 달성할 수 있는 납부율 및 급여율의 선정이 어떻게 이루어질 수 있는지 살펴본다. 또한 재정추계에 있어서 정책 변화에 따라 개인들의 행동 패턴이 달라질 가능성이 있음을 강조하고, 조기퇴직 결정에 관한 캘리브레이션을 통해 재정추계에서 내생성에 대한 고려가 어떻게 이루어질 수 있는지 예시한다. 마지막으로 힉스 보상의 개념에 기초하여 안정화 정책에 대한 평가가 연금 재정지표에 미치는 효과만이 아니라 가입자 / 수급자의 후생에 미치는 영향까지 같이 고려하여 이루어질 필요가 있음을 설명한다.

The proportion of old buildings over 40 years among all school facilities is about 20%. The degree of deterioration is also increasing, resulting in safety risks that reduce the residential safety of faculty and students or a poor environment that does not meet the new curriculum and educational conditions is rapidly increasing the need for repair and renovation of school facilities. In order to fully fulfill its role as a space for implementing education, school architecture requires an understanding of the national curriculum and a clear criterion for determining the relationship between education and space. In order to set the evaluation criteria for deteriorated school architecture, this study presents judgment data centered on quantification and accuracy so that relevant personnel can utilize scientific analysis, research and development of detailed and systematic comprehensive evaluation indicators, and quantified evaluation methods.

2007년부터 교육감 직선제가 시행됨에 따라, 이제 교육 정책을 펼칠 지역 일꾼을 직접 뽑을 수 있게 됐다. 2010 부산시 교육의 책임자로 시민의 선택을 받은 임혜경 교육감은 지난 해 '전국 교육감 공약 이행 및 정보공개 평가'에서 최고 평가를 받았다. 취임 4년차, 그 행보가 돋보이는 임혜경 교육감을 만나보았다. 인터뷰를 위해 찾은 부산시교육청은 청명한 가을 날씨에 길 양쪽으론 가로수가 멋들어진, 옛날의 교정을 연상케 했다. 그리고 가을 햇살 가득한 방, 교육감실에서 인터뷰가 진행되었다. 다음은 임혜경 교육감과의 일문일답.

학생수와 학교수, 재정규모가 전국에서 가장 방대한 경기교육을 이끌고 오고 있는 조성윤 교육감은 "늘 푸른 경기교육"을 캐치프레이즈로 내걸고 '가정처럼 좋은 학교'를 만들기에 심혈을 기울이고 있다. 그는 복잡하고 다양한 경기교육을 빠짐없이 살피고 찾아가 돕는 행정을 펴기 위해 집무실에 있기보다는 학교 현장을 찾을 일이 더 많다. '99년도 시ㆍ도교육청 평가의 학생ㆍ학부모 만족도 조사 영역에서 우수교육청으로 선정된 것에서 알수 있듯이 그가 추진하는 교육정책은 시종일관 학생들에게 질 높은 교육을 제공하는데 초점이 모아져 있다.

This paper investigates the impact of the School Library Revitalization Project of the Daegu Metropolitan City. The Project started in 2003, and by 2009 it revitalized 374 school libraries or 86% of all school libraries in Daegu. Utilizing statistical analysis and questionnaires, this research is divided into two parts. Part 1 analyzes the progress of annual budgets, facilities, collection, personnel, and the circulation data of the libraries. The other part surveys the following: the effects and the satisfaction level of the Project; the teacher's perception of the library's functions; the qualification of the libraries' personnel; the initiatives for developing the library, policy and future plans of the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education for the libraries. Three groups participated in the survey: principals, class teachers, and teacher librarians.
